To say that my visit was disappointing would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in, Jessica's demeanor was cold and unwelcoming. Instead of the friendly atmosphere one would expect at a barber shop, I was met with rudeness that left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. She actually told me to leave the shop. I was 4 minutes late and had just put my dog down a day prior so I was already not having a great day emotionally. She was a TOTAL B$&@h to me. For NO REASON!! What really crossed the line was overhearing Jessica gossiping about other clients while I was getting my haircut by another stylist. It was not only unprofessional but also incredibly disrespectful. I couldn't believe that someone in her position would feel it was appropriate to talk negatively about customers behind their backs. It made me wonder what she might say about me once I left the shop. Her attitude throughout the few years I have been a client of ARi's. Jessica was simply miserable, and it was clear that she takes no pride in her work or in providing a positive experience for her clients. It's truly disheartening to encounter such negativity in a place where people go to relax and feel good about themselves. After this experience, I can confidently say that I will never step foot in Mustacios Barber Shop again. As she is the business owner this causes serious concern to the toxic environment that Jessica fosters. We were able to get same day appointments which was nice. The ladies were all so friendly and the salon was neat and tidy and they also do nails and massages by appointment. They offer one basic pedicure that I'm aware of which was nice especially coming from SoCal where we had to decide from 8 choices of pedicures. We will definitely be back and I say give these ladies a try should you be looking for pedi/manies.
