(The reason I didn't have him this time is my best friend called dibs!) They were absolutely perfect and he knew exactly how to make my shorter nails look better than they ever had. Not only that, my nails were able to grow so much that it was a new personal record for my thin nails! It is very difficult for me to schedule nail appointments because I usually get them done when I have a moment to spare. Elite nails is a great place for walkins. I never wait too long before being serviced. Joe removed my shellac nail polish and completed my dip manicure. The place is very busy and Joe this is best to answer the calls while servicing clients. I went to elite nails for the first time today and a manager guy did my nails. He was very rough doing them and honestly really hurt.... The nails look ok but he did not ask what shape I wanted them or if I wanted 2 or 3 coats of nail polish. He was just all together really rude and made me feel uncomfortable. He answered the phone about 5 times and stopped doing my nails while booking other apts. They also don't do any hand massage or lotion after and he told me I had to pay in cash? I won't be going back! I recommend Bloomfield nails, royal oak nails, colour box or basically anywhere else. Disappointed. read more

Attached is the pic of what I wanted VS what I got. Scheduled an appt for Gel nail art mani, and regular pedi. Went in for my pedicure and was sat down in the chair and then had to wait 30 min. I had work so they then told me I wouldn't have time for my manicure. I showed them the design I wanted and they told me I could come back the next day to get it done. When I returned the next day the gentleman immediately told me I could only pick 2 colours instead of the 5 it would take for the design. I reluctantly agreed. The whole time he was doing my nails he would walk away and answer phone calls which made this appt take 2 hours. I left unhappy with my nails, and then the next morning woke up to extreme cracking all over each nail. Shellac nails are supposed to last 2 weeks not 24 hours! read more

I had the BEST experience here. I'm going to Mexico tomorrow so I got a pedicure / manicure and they did wonders on my skin/nails. It was only $65 for gel mani + pedi which is cheaper than everywhere else around here (I called 5 places). I had my nails and feet done at the same time so I was done in about an hour and 15 minutes which normally it takes like 2 hours+ for both. They followed all Covid precautions and there are blockades up everywhere so it feels very safe and clean. Highly recommend! read more

Literally the worst manicure I've ever had. I ended up passing on getting them painted because two of cuticles were bleeding, many of my cuticles weren't even trimmed properly and the manicurist cut the sides of my nail which made the shape completely wonky. He also used a dremel which has made my nails so thin and sensitive. It seemed like multiple customers were having issues while I was there, so I'm guessing this wasn't a one off. read more

This salon changed ownership in the last few years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was blown away. They REALLY took care of me and my elderly parents. Can't say enough great things about our experience. Stephi (sp?) gave me the best manicure I've had in years--perfect shape and the polish lasted unbelievably long-- and two other techs did WONDERS on my parents' neglected "lockdown" toenails. I have been coming to Elite for many years. COVID protections are above standard. Salon is always clean. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. I appreciate when they allow me to soak longer for pedicures. I have been brining my team here for annual spa day too. Never disappointed with the quality. I came in 10 m late to my appointment, for a color change with acrylic. Right after he started a regular customer sat down and he began working on her instead. I told him that I had somewhere to be in an hour, he then started to complain that I was late. Throughout the session he became more and more mean and even aggressive. He would make rude remarks the entire time. And he didn't do the best job, some nailed were too short. I wouldn't have given him a tip at all if I was the petty type. But I'm not so I just have him the minimum 20% and wrote a bad review on yelp. No ones ever been this mean to me before. I felt bullied tbh. :/ read more

I wasn't happy with them. I had the lady in the front and it wasn't a good experience. She wasn't gentle and had my nails in a bowl of heated acetone which smelled terrible. I've never had my dip removed that way. She asked me what color I wanted by holding the nail colors above me as I was sitting, I didn't even have a chance to go through them as she wasn't handing it to me. I could barely see them as she was holding it up super high and I was sitting, my view was the white bottoms of the sample nails. Really weird. The rest of it went ok, but she was answering the phone every two seconds and addressing people as they walked in, both of which were very frequent. I got dip, and asked for a simple line design at the top (literally just one single white curved line) which she proceeded to draw on. It looked super crooked and like I drew it on myself with my left hand (I'm right handed by the way) or like a little kid did it. I quickly realized she wasn't good at it but I was in a rush, so when she asked me to approve I told her it's fine. It wasn't TERRIBLE, but it also wasn't straight and the intensity of the line wasn't consistent - sloppy. Whatever, no one is going to examine them as much as me, I thought, and I didn't really want to be a "Karen". She charged me $50 for it, I felt totally scammed and wished I just complained about the crappy nail design instead of feeling bad for her and not saying anything. The most I ever paid for a dip with a super simple design is $45. It's not about the extra $5-$10, it's the principle. The reason I gave 2 starts is because the dip has lasted well with no chipping or breaking. I won't be back here. read more

Stopped by for a shellac mani and pedi and Anna was awesome. I was about done with both in an hour. She was very professional and considerate, especially since I was pregnant. She was on the ground doing my toes. I got black sparkles and she did a silver flare on my fourth finger. I did shellac manicure and also on my toes and it was $85. A bit high, but normal I guess for shellac. I was expecting it to be more around 70$ but my nails and toes were perfect. read more

I've never really had a place that I went to regularly since my acrylics days over ten years ago. I think I just found my place. Very very thorough. The nail tech did exactly what I wanted as far as length and shape. I had to reach in my purse at one point and accidentally got some suede (from the inside lining) on my nails. I felt so awful when I saw it thinking she would be annoyed (like i have experienced in the past), but she just kinda smiled and said it was okay and proceeded to fix my mess. And they were also very helpful about a color I was inquiring about for next time. I look forward to coming back and getting a pedicure. Great work. Friendly interactive staff. Went in for a polish change since I just got a full mani/pedi a week ago and the OPI polish they had (which I've used about 3 times before at a different salon) was super clumpy and looked terrible on my nails- some of my nails even had missing spots. I asked the technician to do it over and for a different color and she complained telling me it was my fault and I should have gotten a full manicure. She reluctantly did my color again and was rude to me for the rest of my experience. This was after the 25% tip I had given her before my first round of polish was on. My tech who did my toes and nails rushed through, I ended up paying $45 for nothing. The nail polish looked "unmanicured" on my toes, with nail polish subtly on the side of my nail skin. Vicki and Jojo are the best here. They do get busy so making an appointment helps. They also have a great selection of polish for regular and shellac. I have always left there feeling satisfied, which doesn't always happen with affordable or walk-in places. I highly recommend going here! read more
