We found this place by accident after getting lost on our way back to our hotel. We were also very hungry so we decided to give this hole-in-the-wall place a go. Turns out this is a place where locals flock to eat during lunch! This tiny place is run by a husband and wife. They only have so many tables and we were lucky enough to be seated right away! 10minutes in and there was a line outside and people willing to wait. The menu was all hand written in french. The chef came to us and told us he didn't really speak english that well but he will try to explain what they had on the menu or if we liked anything we see to let him know. The food came fast!! I believe everything they had were all ready & prepped. My food was delicious and fresh!! I can definitely tell the pasta they served was homemade. The sauce i had on my fettuccine and shrimp pasta was amazing!! I've never tasted anything like it. Everything was just wow and super authentic. If I ever come back to Paris which I know I will one day- I will definitely comeback to this place.
Just want to add since the place is small and only have so many tables to accommodate so many people- we never felt rushed at all but from my observations, people (locals) that come to this place had the common courtesy to only be there to eat, enjoy their drinks (wine) and go. We did the same to give the people waiting to get a table the chance to eat. And oh before I forget to mention- the price was set at 12€ for any food of your choice!! read more
