Wonton Soup
Suzette S.

Excellent lunch today. This restaurant still has the awesome atmosphere. Wonton soup and Thai basil beef was so delicious. Didn't realize how much I missed this good food until now. Definitely will not wait so long.

Soup comes with lunch!

We ordered from the lunch menu - Massaman Curry, Penang Curry, and string beans with rice. The beef ho fun is from the regular menu. The lunch comes with a large soup. All the dishes tasted delicious. The hot and sour soup was also tasty, but would have been nice to have more ingredients, it was mostly Liquid.

Chicken Panang Curry

I found this place on Yelp when I was looking for another place near my mom's house, but then decided to come to this one after all given the better reviews (thanks Yelp)! Glad we did. It's a nice little restaurant with a very large menu of different Asian cuisines ranging from Chinese to Thai to sushi...most of what we ordered was pretty good. For apps we had shrimp spring rolls (good though only 2 pieces & the sweet chili sauce with it was tasty) and the soup dumplings (only 3 pieces & just ok, and they should give proper soup spoons with it because regular spoons not really adequate to eat it properly). For sushi we tried one of their special rolls the Cherry Blossom (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado & scallions wrapped in pink soy paper), which was 8 large pieces & pretty good. We also got Panang Curry with Chicken (tasty & has a kick but not super spicy) and Black Pepper Chicken & Scallops (not spicy & pretty good) and shrimp pad thai (liked it well enough though have had better & some found it a bit too sweet). The main dishes were a good quantity of food (and we liked how crisp the veggies were in them) but they should give bigger bowls of rice accompanying it since there was not much of that (which is why we ordered pad thai). Washed it down with Thai iced tea (I thought a bit too sweet but not bad). Also the appetizers had quite few pieces compared to most places. But overall we enjoyed the food, and the service was generally efficient & accommodating and they gave suggestions when asked. Bathrooms were pretty clean. My family were happy I introduced this place to them & intend to come back!

Chicken with Cashew Nuts

I eat here often and most of the employees know me by name and face. Everyone is friendly. My favorite dish here is the chicken with cashew nuts. It is enough for two people to split (my mom and I split it often). I also love the pan fried pork dumplings here as well as the shrimp shumai. Another favorite of mine is the fried rice with baby shrimp which is usually fresh, but I've had a few times it wasn't the best, but mostly it's a hit. I order delivery from here a lot and it is usually on time, if not early. The ambiance inside the restaurant is elegant and could be a cute date spot or just a casual bite to eat. I'll continue to be a loyal customer!

Custom California Roll (pickle, cucumber and Crab meat) and Sweet Potato Roll

I enjoyed my lunch, which was ordered for delivery. I was participating in a work session that had a very early start so by the time 1 pm hit everyone was hungry. LeDish was the desired choice so I ordered broccoli with garlic sauce (because I am not a fan of non-fibrous chicken). I also ordered some sushi. I know from experience that the avocado used at this location causes me to have an allergic reaction, so I substituted the avocado for a Japanese pickle and I must say, it was delicious. I also really enjoyed their sweet potato rolls with eel sauce (always order extra eel sauce on the side). The other food items that were ordered were inhaled before I could take a photo of them. I was able to snap a picture of the pineapple fried rice (but only after it had been dug into). If the chicken weren't tofu textured, I would give Le Dish 5 stars. They know how to flavor their food in a balanced way. Speaking of tofu, their miso soup is off-the-chain satisfying. They stack it with seaweed, tofu, and the smooth light flavor of miso. I never have to add any seasoning to it to make it enjoyable. It's a great soup for upset tummies, that moment when you think you may have caught a bug, or if you just don't feel like making dinner but want something light to fill your belly.

Peking Duck (with 4 crepes) was excellent

Spicy Popcorn Chicken
Patricia F.

Hands down, the best Chinese place in the area and Ive been to a bunch (China Boys, Schezuan House, etc etc). The spicy popcorn chicken with peanuts is SO good, light, crunchy and spicy! Their scallion pancakes are also good. If you want good Chinese in the Trenton area, you cant beat Le Dish!

The owner and service are wonderful and kind. If you want a brilliant taste explosion things like Mongolian beef, the surprisingly inventive Sushi pizza (if have not had beautiful sushi flavor on fluffy scallion pancakes you haven't lived), and their drunken noodle are some of my favorites. Even if there is a wait, we have never waited longer than 30 minutes for a table. The service is very prompt and waiters are very good at checking on you and refilling your drinks, cleaning up your table, or asking you if everything is good. The food is ordered via paper and pencil, you select what you want and provide it to the waiter. They send the order to the kitchen and you receive the food when it comes out. For an AYCE buffet, the fish quality is consistently pretty good at Hiro. They offer Nigiri and Sashimi on the menu, as well as classic and specialty rolls. If I could suggest one thing it'd be adding hand rolls to the menu. The tuna and salmon here are consistently good and the yellowtail was surprisingly good. They have a bunch of different appetizers ranging from edamame, sushi pizza, to tartar, most of them are actually very good. The kitchen entrees are very good as well such as the kimchi fried rice and the Mongolian beef. Although it's not the most spacious inside, the way they set up the booths and tables it gives you enough separation from other tables to not feel super crammed inside. Highly recommended for an AYCE sushi spot in Central NJ!

Plenty of parking as this is in a newer strip mall. Lots of seating and quick service- our server was great at suggesting options as well. Baby Corn Pepper Fry- This was good, was hoping it was a dry dish as all the other corn dishes indicated sauce and this one didnt- but still was coated in a sauce. Corn was a little on the softer side but packed flavor. Schezwan Paneer (using their spelling) - Slightly crisp triangles of paneer that packed a punch with spice Gobi Manchurian Dry- while ours mistakenly came out with gravy they were quick to correct it. Hot and crispy with a flavorful sauce but by now all the flavor profiles were blending. Chili Hakka Noodles - I loved the smokiness but by now couldn't handle the spice. Wife's fav. Everything is spice forward- which tends to blur the flavor profiles after a bit. Still the servings are such that it's best to order a few diff things for everyone to try. White rice is optional and may help soothe some of the kick

Decided on under the moon cafe and loved the atmosphere and ambiance when we first walked in. Different mix matched tables, glasses and plates. Loved the ceiling tiles and comfy looking benches. I love duck and when I read duck Mac and cheese with cherries I was lost in wonder of the combination of flavors so of course I had to order it. Surprisingly it was very enjoyable. The Mac and cheese was nicely made cheesy, noodles weren't over cooked and over all had good flavor with pieces of duck and a few cherries mixed in. I also ordered the burger which was cooked as requested medium rare and was topped with bacon and an onion ring. I upgrade to the Parmesan truffle fries.which I was slightly disappointed in. I didn't see or taste the Parmesan but there was a slight truffle flavor. The fish tacos I heard were good but not really blacked and the vodka sauce was just okay according to others at the table.

I will say, even the bathroom was decorated to instill a sense of nostalgia. We went for brunch and started with a duck mac and cheese. As you'd expect it was a bit lighter on the duck than one would like, but was ultimately well worth trying. I'd say this goes even moreso if you're a fan of duck, as that's not the mac and cheese pairing you see most often. Beyond that, I got the fish tacos. I'm typically afraid of ordering tacos out due to portion size, and while you do only get two tacos, they are rather large, and come with a side of truffle fries which were exceptional. The tacos themselves were also fantastic and filled with the flavor you'd want and expect from the dish. While we were too full to engage with a dessert, I will say our server was nothing short of delightful and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is in a great location in downtown Bordentown and we will certainly be revisiting when we are back in the area.

It is in a strip mall with a bunch of different options. On the outside It looks too small to have any type of sit-down area. We walked in and peaked inside and once you turn the corner of the counter, there is a dining room. So we decided to eat in. The dining room is very dated and doesn't look like it gets much use. It is set up though for karaoke. Our server came over with menus and took our drink order of hot tea and water. She came back with the tea and wonton chips and dipping sauce. They were very good...the sauce was light but complimented the chips perfectly. We decided to share chicken corn soup and a quart of General Tso Chicken. The soup came out in a big bowl and she gave us each a cup. The soup was was like an egg drop soup with corn and chicken. It was good. It had good flavor. It is a good comfort soup. The General Tso Chicken came out with some broccoli (I tend to not like broccoli from Chinese restaurants since it can be really hard) water chestnuts, and some green peppers. Everything was so good. The chicken wasn't heavy or greasy. The coating was crispy but not heavy. Sometimes getting General Tso's Chicken it is mostly the fried coating. This was just enough. It popped in your mouth. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. Al dente without being too hard. The water chestnuts and green peppers were a nice addition too. I thought our food was excellent and the service was very good. It looks most of their business is through takeout, but it would be nice if they updated the dining room just a little bit. We definitely will be back to try some other dishes.
