Fast forward a year and one of my friends shared with me her experience at The Brow Edit. I had yet to go to a waxing place where they consult with you first then you make an appointment for the actual wax. I was intrigued and hopeful. I figured a place that takes the time to converse with you about what you're looking for and answer your questions their Estheticians would certainly be reliable and value those who book with them. I finally came around to making the appointment this past weekend and I'm so glad I did. I had an appointment with Makayla and she was wonderful. Walking into the Brow Edit was calm and relaxing. I loved the ladies at the front desk too, they were friendly and helpful. Makayla greeted me and took me back to the room and pulled up the questionnaire I filled out. I decided to deviate from previous brow looks from the past and opted for something more natural. She explained thoroughly how the process works at The Brow Edit and made sure to answer any questions I had. I also never had my brows mapped out before! When it was time for my appointment a few days later, because I was just about wolf like for my standards, I experienced the same chill easy going vibe walking in this time around too. Makayla had me lay down on the coolest chaise and she started mapping out a natural brow look for me. Once she was done she explained what I need to do moving forward to keep them looking great and to protect the newly waxed skin. I've already booked my maintenance appointment next month to keep the look going. I appreciate the professionalism here as well as the relaxing atmosphere. MOD dermatology recently opened a new office space across from Legacy shopping center off 168th and it is prime location for a doctor's office. It is very convenient for parking and accessibility. She is currently the solo doctor at this location. She has helped me with a couple of skin afflictions that I have had in the last few years- she is super professional and knowledgeable.
