Everything in the display case looked fresh and beautifully presented, and there were plenty of tempting options to choose from. We tried the "Dulce de Leche Cheesecake", "Pistachio Éclair", "Carrot Cake", "Hazelnut Crunch", and "Strawberry Shortcake", along with a "Latte" and "Dirty Matcha. The desserts were rich, flavourful, and nicely made, with each one offering its own unique texture and taste. The drinks paired well with the sweets. The staff were friendly, and the shop had a warm neighborhood feel. There's street parking available on Danforth Avenue.

The place is bright and oh so clean! Spotless is a word I would rarely apply to restaurants and such, but this place was spotless. Service was efficient and quick. I got a "Russian Chocolate Tale" and an Americano. The coffee was good, a sort of standard blend, not bitter, smooth. The Tale was chocolate mousse on top of a chocolate cookie covered by a layer of vanilla-ish mousse-ish and some pink stuff. (Can you tell I'm not a desserts expert?) Both mousses were delicate and not too sweet, but I got nothing from the outer pink layer. Their selection is an amazing array of standard Western European pastries and desserts. And a Dubai chocolate bar in the $30 adjacent area if you feel like being trendy. Overall, another fine addition to the many great bakeries and dessert places on the Danforth.

Visited this cute little Filipino bake shop nestled in shops at don mills…read more They sell Filipino sweet treats and baked goods. Pandesal, cake slices, coffee, cookies, cheesecakes, and a small select option of savoury food as well. For baked goods I walked out with: - Ube cheesecake: it was moist, Ube packed flavour with a hint of creaminess from the cheese. Enjoyed it. And read good reviews about it prior to ordering it so that's why I chose it :) - Ube crinkle cookies: a basic Ube crinkle cookie, not too sweet (which is great) and powdered with sugar on the outside. Ube flavour is mild not too overpowering, moist and fluffy cookie. Would recommend as well! - Spicy chicken empanada- buttery crust, soft and falls apart because the crust is so buttery!! Stuffing was generous, chicken flavourful but I didn't find the inside spicy. One is enough for one sitting. I would like to try other flavours as well. Service - friendly. Fast. Efficient. $$- I would say some of the items are quite pricey for what you get e.g. turon for $5, cake + coffee slice for $10-12, I think that I've found other bakeries to be a little more cost friendly. But assuming because this one is more franchised, Perhaps why prices are higher (?) Would overall recommend this place especially if you'd like to share Filipino sweets culture/food. They do sell cakes and party platters of desserts which is also a bonus. Would recommend to try!

We couldn't have asked for more. Well done Your Happy Baker. We are very happy customers and will be back! A few notes: This is a home based business so no storefront. The aesthetic and the attention to detail when it comes to these desserts flawless, and exceptional. I enjoyed every single bite of my dessert. For drinks, we got hot chocolates, and they had one of the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted, and I'm not exaggerating. It was the perfect drink and taste to eat my dessert. Location: The location is very pretty, but it's pretty casual. The seating is pretty close to other guests in the restaurant or tables of two if I'm not mistaken. This is a perfect place to go with friends or family or on a quick date or by yourself. This place looked like it was located on a main street with street parking, but because I was visiting in Toronto, I'm not sure how the parking works as we took Uber. Service: The service was great, and they were very friendly and answered any questions regarding the desserts on display to help us pick the perfect one for ourselves. They also brought the food to our table, including the drinks. I 100% would go back to this location.

As it was already pretty late in the evening and we were both pretty full, neither of us was in the mood for coffee and just wanted a small snack. There weren't that many options left, of course, as it was late, so, along with a 3.95 CAD Heartwood Farm & Cidery organic sour cherry drink, I ordered a Banana Caramel Cookie, and the friendly cashier there added a second one for free. Aside from being a very kind gesture, I presume the place was closing soon. The cookie was maybe 2.50 CAD, if I recall correctly, and it was good. I was slightly worried that it would be too sweet, but the caramel flavor wasn't super strong, and there was a good mixture of that and a light banana flavor. It was also surprisingly not too dry for how late it was. Overall, it was tasty, and the drink was also good.

I also tried the strawberries & cream one, which was pretty standard. It's a small counter inside the store, and there was a short line when we went on a Sunday afternoon. There are a few benches at the back if you want to sit and eat. Overall, I'm glad I tried them, but I think TikTok definitely set my expectations a little too high lol. I ordered the Cookies & Cream Cookie The box was warm, so I assumed that meant the cookie was fresh. Little did I know. There's no seating inside the store, so I went somewhere else to actually eat my cookie. The cookie itself was absolutely gigantic, which would normally be a good thing, but it was so big and messy that I could barely hold it without getting cream all over my fingers. The cookie was crunchy, stale, and extremely sweet. I managed to eat a few bites before giving up, and then I literally had to run to Shoppers to buy some milk because it was THAT sweet. Turns out there was 70 GRAMS of sugar in that cookie alone! Sadly, I really didn't enjoy this place. For the price, I expected a much better cookie. I bought - Olive loaf - Croissant (plain)] - Fig tart - Pear tart - Pâté en croute The olive loaf had a loooot of olives in it. It tastes great by itself, but I dipped it in good olive oil and balsamic. Great!!! The croissant was light, airy, and flaky. Nice butter flavor follows the bite. Fig tart and pear tart had a lot of fruits in them, not too sweet, which I appreciated.
