As my nail tech started on the gel base coat, I actually had to ask, did you already do the manicure and cuticles, etc., because I had dry skin and misshapen nails with jagged edges. She seemed surprised that I asked, but then fixed things, to some extent. The color was fine, and the massage was the usual 30-second massage most places give you with a gel manicure. Overall, worst gel manicure I've received in a long, long time. The gel pedicure was much better than the manicure, though not good enough to make me return to this nail salon. It was pretty empty inside--lots of chairs, but not a lot of clients. It's got an elegant appearance, though. On a positive note, they were able to take me on short notice.

However, the tech I saw on Friday was extra rough with it, and they're still painful days later. He was clearly in a rush as he also hardly filed the builder gel down, resulting in much thicker than usual nails. Very disappointing for such an expensive service!
