I've only worked with JRS Express once but I am extremely happy with the experience, enough to give them five stars. I had my ecobags made in Rizal, which is already consider outside Metro Manila. My supplier's courier of choice was JRS Express. Although it was a bit more expensive than my usual carriers, I gave in and paid extra for the shipping cost. The bags were completed on a Thursday and I was expecting it on a Friday to use for an event that Saturday. Apparently, there is an additional cost for next-day delivery but both my supplier and myself were not aware of this. I left a message to JRS Express via their Facebook account asking about the status of the deliver on a Friday night (that was around 8pm). I got a response right away informing me about the next-day delivery issue. I was a bit disappointed but I was pretty happy with the customer service experience. But that wasn't the end of it. They actually called me to ask me where I was and what time I needed the item. I was absolutely floored with their commitment to deliver on time at this point. I told them the event was at 8am but I needed to ingress by 7am. I was crossing my fingers that I'd get the items before then. Lo and behold, someone came knocking at 11pm. It was JRS Express with my package! They said that their trucks were making rounds and was able to pick up the package at the warehouse at 10pm and they tried to deliver it to me that night in the off chance that I would still be awake. And they even apologized for dropping by so late. I have never had a better customer service experience with any other courier. They really went the extra mile and I super appreciate it.

This mailing service does indeed pick-up your parcels and attempts to ship your items to destinations but they do such a bang-up job! I have had such a terrible experience a few years back, using their service to send some documents to a client abroad in the USA in the attempt that I would pay less than LBC. I should have thought twice! This was in Dec. 2015. Once my mail was shipped, they lost it and wouldn't help me enough to retrieve my package! Of course, my client was already worrying and I had to constantly email them. I even got a notification that my ticket was solved already so I had to email so many times. The representative "Anna" just keeps saying that she will coordinate with the Int'l representatives. Then I had someone call UPS in USA, they said they already coordinated with Xend about a refund but Xend takes SO long! We had started talking January, only by Feb did they confirm my mail was lost, and told me the steps in getting a refund. March 21, 2016 was my last email to "Anna" and DID NOT get a response anymore from her. It's like going through a needle's hole. I had to follow up, never did they give me the hint of initiative in making things right. Come April 2016 I tried to email them again. A new person replied with the name "Alex" and you know what? He mistakenly attached a LONG thread of emails of complaints and etc with another client of his. Way to go! That was the last display of "mistakes" or should I say, incompetence from Xend. I was sure then that I wouldn't see even a peso from my refund if their correspondence was that terrible. What nonsense. That AND the fact that they commit errors that lead to sharing of your private data. I can still access the conversation of that stranger with Xend, of course their addresses were in the conversation too! 2 years passed, my GOD I made the same mistake of trusting them. Now my parcel (as a receiver) is LOST yet again! You know what, it would be okay if they ACTUALLY coordinated with clients but all their hotlines don't work. They give out temp. hotlines that DON'T work either! Just check their Facebook page to see the hundreds of people who have resulted into commenting on their posts just to get noticed/help.

The seller used XEND courier. see details below PICKED UP FROM SHIPPER (metro manila) Destination: MEYCAUAYAN CITY,BULACAN Sep 18, 2017 TRANSFERRED TO D&G Sep 21, 2017 IN TRANSIT Sep 19, 2017 This is my shipment. In actually it was on Saturday, 16th September, that they picked up my parcel from seller, thus they wrongly indicated the pick up date as 18th September. And as you can see Xend TRANSFERRED TO D&G courier. Up to this date, September 26, I still have not received my shipment, this shows XEND and D&G are unreliable. Meycauayan City, is just boundary of (Valenzuela) Metro Manila, so why does it is taking forever?!? Again to emphasize, I am still horrendously waiting, for 10 days already, and counting! This is unacceptable courier service! I sent SEVERAL emails and phone texts to XEND, and XEND did not give me direct answer if my shipment/parcel will arrive. they just said they're sorry. F*CK! i don't need sorry note! What i need is my shipment! I usually purchase online. so far XEND and D&G Courier, were the ones that pissed me off. in contrast to JRS and LBC, were pleasant. IF you do not believe in my review, then google search "XEND COMPLAINTS" , you will be surprised there are flooding complaints against XEND.

    I am so, so lucky that my apartment is located within 5 minutes from LBC, and even nearer is 2Go…read morewhich is just 2 minutes away. I often use Xend for sending stuff I've sold online (since they have cheaper shipping fees for bigger packages, flat rates, and they pick up the package from your doorstep *cough cough* and I'm lazy *cough cough*). But for sending important documents and CD files to my clients, I send them through 2Go. 2Go is more reliable than Xend, and has cheaper rates than LBC, and I guess this is just a personal preference of mine but don't you just love that shade of magenta they use in their branding? It's so refreshing to the eye! Their next-day delivery is really helpful too when I'm in a rush to send important documents. Sometimes I do find it more practical and time-saving to send documents and other stuff via couriers as opposed to bringing them myself to my clients office. Also, it's worth noting that the staff in this 2Go branch are really nice. They're so nice that they even let my dog inside!

It was written in the status that it was out for delivery on 11/15 - failed. Sent an email to customer support and got a reply of assurance that my package will be delivered. Then 11/16 - failed again. So I called them up to ask what was the problem which they couldn't answer and told me to wait for it in the next few days. They asked for my address and contact number again just to make sure that it's right. 11/17 - another delivery attempt failed. I was home the whole day, even received packages from different couriers. 11/19 - another delivery attempt failed. I called them up again to ask for the status and told me to wait for the delivery (no exact date, they said they can't make promises. WTF!?) I don't think they were even trying. 11/22 came i check for status and accdg to their website they brought it back to the sender/warehouse. Talk about incompetence.

On occasion, I would ask her to send some souvenirs for my friends from all over the world and other goodies I could share with them too. DHL was always the service that she would use and we never experienced any issues when sending packages abroad. Sometimes, I also still send birthday gifts or special packages to my close friends from all over the world. I don't even think about it, I just go directly to DHL because we have tried and tested their service and efficiency. We never had any problems or issues with any of our packages and sometimes when we are abroad and have over shopped, we would send used clothes and other items via DHL to make more space in our luggage. All the items get to Manila safe and sound just after a few days. Its excellent and well worth the price because at least you are sure your package will arrive safely without issues.

On November 6th I booked priority delivery with Lalamove (order 147796857373) to have frozen goods delivered to me. I use exactly the same booking 2-3 times a month, and usually it takes 35-60 min to deliver. The order was accepted by the rider Nico Isahck Tenorio (phone number +639466171851, motorcycle plate number 344PZX) at 8:41 AM. Only after 40 minutes at 9:20 AM he messaged me that he is on the way, nearby to pick up. Same time I informed the rider that it's frozen goods and asked to deliver it without delay. Order was picked up at 10:42 AM only (2 hours after the booking conformation). At 12 noon rider was still on his way, not answering my calls and SMS. I contacted Lalamove customer support chat to help me. The agent tried to contact the rider as well but without any luck. During 3 hours I keep chatting the customer support agent and explain my problem at least 5 times as the chat was changing the agents every once in a while without them giving me a clear answer. The last two agents told me that they created a ticket (same number as my order number) and that I have to wait while another department processing it. But no one gave me exact timeframe for the solution, despite I asked about it several times. At 3 PM I received a call from the rider that he is having a problem with my address (what can't be true as I used to book the same delivery a dozen times before with no issues), problem with his phone, that he is somewhere else and can't reach my place. The customer support was informed about that call as well immediately. I sent my address to the rider once again via SMS. Eventually I received my goods at 3:48 PM. The priority booking, what I was charged for from Lalamove wallet automatically, took 6 hours to be completed. The goods were defrosted and damaged, impossible to use anymore. The cost of it is 1520 pesos. Plus delivery fee is 159 pesos. The driver tried to tell me some ridiculous things like his phone got broken, no charge, he lost the address, the address was incorrect etc. He even seemed to me drunk or under influence of substances as his speech was not clear, but I can't be sure. He marked my order as delivered and signed the form in app without my consent by 2:17 PM. I messaged to support during that day from 12 noon to 4 PM, asking for solution but still didn't get any after 5 days. Today, on November 10th, to my new message via customer support chat I get only one reply, that it's to late to file a complaint as 24 hours passed. They can't find my ticket and not going to solve the problem as time frame already passed. Seems like Lalamove is intentionally limits their contact channels for clients, as even the complaint form on their website is disabled.
