Won't come to clean if snowfall at his headquarters is under 3 inches, but if its 3.5 at your house, you're screwed. Averaging out what we paid this season, we're talking payment of just over $400 per plow. Insane. We won't renew for next season, that's for sure. Do the job right, and charge a fair price. Stop swindling your customers. Word travels fast.

Unfortunately, the quality of this job was subpar, and the gravel work washed out completely within weeks. I reached out to him multiple times for a resolution via text and voicemail with no response. When I finally heard back, he refused to take any responsibility and instead blamed me for the results--citing the weather (rain?!) and my budget (which I never actually gave him). In reality, I accepted both his estimate and his plan without question, paid in full immediately, and even offered to pay more if he would simply correct his work after it first began to fail - just two days after it was completed. This, despite the fact that I was promised the work would last several years. Eric does not stand behind his work, he makes false promises and ghosts clients when there's a problem, and then resorts to excuses and blaming the customer rather than offering solutions. Other contractors who reviewed the job confirmed that the grading and compaction were not done properly. A properly compacted and graded gravel driveway would not erode after a single rainstorm. One review mentions he's nice, and he is, when things go well. I'm nice too, but I don't tolerate being taken advantage of. If you decide to roll the dice on your project, don't be surprised when the 'nice guy' disappears. UPDATE: Eric responded by attempting to discredit me personally and deflect from the actual issue. So let me be clear: I paid in full the day after the work was completed (job finished 6/4, Zelle sent 6/5). I accepted both his estimate and his plan without negotiating and was told the work would last for years. When it failed after a single rainstorm, I offered to pay more if he would fix it. I never asked for extra work, I said I'd wait and see how it held up, and reached out again when it clearly didn't. He ignored multiple texts and voicemails for weeks and only responded after I posted this review. And yes, I have everything documented as well. As for his attempt to attack my review history: I welcome anyone to read my other reviews. They are detailed, honest, and thoughtful reflections of my experiences - positive or negative. Using my home security cameras I recorded the last lawn service taking 7 minutes. They mowed, blew leaves, weed-whacked and loaded the trailer and left in 7 minutes! I have an acre of land. The mower moved so fast it dug ruts in my lawn at every turn. I wanted to get through winter using them for plowing but the plowing truck ran off of my driveway over a decorative retaining wall and got stuck in my yard on the first snowfall. Causing more damage. The second snowfall they left an entire section of my driveway untouched right in front of my house. The time of plowing (from security cameras) was 2min 20sec!!! He had been encouraging me to move back up as I have had a few losses and it has been a difficult time. Marco hooked me up with me some work immediately so I could stand on my feet and volunteered his time to help clear a space on a farm for me to live. It is a small production farm with a supportive and wonderful community that is definitely under-resourced. He routinely finds useful stuff to repurpose which he passes on and is always open to a question or conversation trying to solve a problem. Most recently, things slowed back down again and I ran out of firewood, he gave me a cord and a half from his personal stock to last me the rest of the winter and told me not to worry about it and that I could just come split some more in the spring time to restock his shed. I don't really have words for how thankful I am and how it would've been easy for him to say as a friend hearing my woes, wow that sucks, and then keep it moving, but that's not the type of person he is. Marco and I have had a decade long relationship that spans employer, mentor, friend, volunteer, accountability partner, general life coach.
