Visited this spot for dinner with a friend we were visiting. He's been a couple times for lunch and our dinner plans had fallen through, so decided to do something simple. Service sat us upon arrival, giving us the option of inside or out. Inside was very dim lit, so we opted for some fresh air and natural light on their covered patio. The menu was your typical bar food, burgers, wings, sandwiches, pizza. They've got a decent beer selection, though they didn't have a list, you just have to rely on the memory of the server to list off their available options. We got some honey medium heat wings, their closest option to honey bbq. This was my first time getting wings in Canada, and I was surprised by the blue cheese dressing that came with them, apparently it's a bit different than what we're used to in the US, it's more like a honey mustard, so that was a little disappointing, but apparently very common in Canada. It's funny to see how small things like that differ over the boarder. We also go chicken nachos, we got a half portion, which was very large, but just seemed a bit dry. I have to say that the food when you eat in is solid. The pizza is the way to go, some with the chicken wings. They are fresh and solid. The ladies that work there are all super nice and helpful. This place feels like a local dive bar. Lots of locals go and come and come and go. read more

The Lazy Lizard is one of those places. If you are in the mood for a beer and some karaoke, and if you don't take yourself too seriously, the LL is for you. The fun starts around 11:00 p.m on nicer weather weekend nights when the patio bristles with mediocre dancing, singing, and drinks. somehow it is all quite fun. Service is decent, though it is more a matter of staffing than staff. My server was excellent. If you are needing a fine meal (from a place called The Lazy Lizard nonetheless) or craft cocktails, or a quiet conversation, you should probably try something else. However, if you can bring a bit of your own fun, clap along with someone else's less-than-perfect singing, watch sports on one of the bar tvs, or simply enjoy a beer or a two ingredient cocktail with friends, the Lazy Lizard might be perfect. read more

I am so disappointed with the Lazy Lizard. Last time our pizza and wings were very good, but this time, the wings taste quite a lot like ketchup and the pizza is almost raw. I find the prices here to be more expensive than other similar establishments. I won't be bothering to try them a third time. read more

One of the best restaurants I have been to, with at least 15 tv's, catching a game while eating the best chicken wings in the region makes this place absolutely incredible. Anthony and Nikki have done a wonderful job of keeping customer service second to none. Personal favourite is the Guinness braised pulled pork sandwich. read more

We got coupons in the mail so decided to go try it out. We wanted to use the coupon for buy one sandwich, get one free. Fine print said only for $9 or less, but there were no sandwiches on the menu in this price range. Waitress said she would just give us $9 off and so we were set from there. We got one appetizer, balls of dough covered in parmesan. YUM. The sauce it came with, not so much. I had a goat cheese chicken wrap. It was okay, but really not at all what I was expecting. My boyfriend got a burger and paid the extra to get onion rings instead of fries. His meal was very disappointing as the burger was burnt, so very dry, and despite having paid more money to get the onion rings the meal came with about 6 rings... very sad. Their smoking section was right outside the back door so every time the door opened we got a disgusting whiff of smoke coming in, and had to walk through it to get out. Absolutely the WORST delivery ever! So lets break this down: - Order using @just.eat.canada at at 8:35PM - Order #10303806 - At 9:20PM I call to find out if my order had left the restaurant. I was told by the manager on duty that it left 10 minutes prior - At 9:30PM I call to inform them my food is still not here and that the drive from their location to me at most is 15 minutes. Manager offers to call some delivery company - At 9:40PM I call back as I did not hear back from the restaurant. I was informed that the delivery driver was outside my place. I explained that I am looking out my window and nobody is here. After a 5 minute argument about how I was going to post this experience online, the manager "begs" me not to post online as the owners will fire her. She offers to remake the order and send it out again. - At 9:50PM the delivery company shows up. He tells me that he was paid for the order and tip not once but TWICE by the manager, she was confused and forgot to give the order to him. Food was cold so I sent it back explaining how they were re-sending it. - At 9:55PM I call the restaurant what the driver said as I was now getting pissed off. It was explained to me that they are busy and mistakes happen and I should "be more reasonable when its only food" (yes that is a quote from the manager on the phone) So now, here I sit, no food, a series of frustrations and the unknown situation of WHEN I will be blessed to have dinner tonight. Oh and just to add to this. It was a $50 order. I would NEVER in a MILLION years suggest using this restaurant for delivery! read more

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. We waited almost a complete 15 minutes to be acknowledged before getting menus. Ordered an appetizer of deep fried dill pickles as we had never tried them before. The waitress brought them out and plopped them down on the table and without a word, walked away. I burned my mouth on the first bite as there was no warning that they were VERY hot! During the rest of the meal, the waitress totally neglected us until it was time for the bill. No desserts available at this place at all, not to mention that the bar portion of the restaurant was full of loud men watching loud sports on the tv. the service was atrocious. I am a small danish boy who is working in niagara and i went for drinks with my bosses, the waitress pressured me into drinking more than i can (i am a very small boy), my bosses were very discouraged by the slow service, as was i. I speak fine english so when i tipped the waitress i told her she should smile more and not pressure us into drinking more than we should. Her boss thought this was an insult but I was trying to make the service safer and more efficient and after i tried to give them the tip "money". i gave them more of a tip but they rejected it and i am really confused why, it was the money they got upset about. this place had a great band and my drinks were made great however the service made me want to throw up. To make things worse they sent the manager over to confront me infront of my bosses so now they think i am cheap and a dick but i just wanted to make sure everyone was safe and not over served and tended to. The fat manager girl was worse than the cute blonde server girl and wanted to make an argument after i told her i know why to not serve. So in total, they will over serve someone just to have a bigger tip, i dont know why? they recieve money per hours and were not good so they should not expect any tips, except on how to safely serve people and be a good server. the server told me because she made jokes with my bosses that she was a good server but if youre not tending to our table then i really dont think that is good service. I only way 105 lbs and i really look like it so the server should know 3 pients in an hour is too many. i would never reccomend going here especially not an saturday or sunday and if you do make sure you can handle your alcohol because THEY WILL OVER SERVE YOU AND SHOW ABSOLUTELY NO REMORSE. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! i ordered pizza online and sched for pick up, when i get there i ask about my order the dark haired girl with the glasses seems, she cant find my order....she goes behind the bar and her and her friends are snickering. she than comes to tell me that my order has already left with the delivery man. she tells me more than 98 percent of online orders are delivery so she didnt check.. i explain to her i just got off work, with my 4 year old in my arms and that its very inconvenient for me and i didnt want cold food. i told her id have to speak with my husband to figure out what we wanted to do. I come back and shes speaking to more people pointing and staring at my order. i tell her i want another order but i cannot wait in the bar as its 9pm and i have my kids, she tells me if i dont ant raw food ill have to wait 20 mins. i ask to speak with the manager and she tells me she already told the manager and hes left and he didnt care anyways. We order monthly if not more from here..all i wanted was hot warm food that would be re delivered, for free delivery. i willnever be back, im so disappointed . read more
