Such a cool vibe inside with a full bar and modern aesthetic. We went for the buffet and it was superb! Everything we are was warm, flavorful, and left a lasting impression. The staff came around often to check on us during our meal. My husband and I plan to return frequently!

Great appetizer, nice friendly staff. Atmosphere was nice, would prefer Indian v. Piano music.... Comefortable chairs.... Deco is retro 70's but cool.

Excellent new spot for Indian food in Wake Forest. This place opened in storefront recently vacated by an Asian restaurant. Interior is completely redone, tastefully sleek. About a dozen tables, plus a few chairs at the bar. They appear to be doing a booming take-out business, as there is a steady flow of pickups. A minor nit is that the music is a little too loud, making conversation difficult. Service is reasonable. They are just getting started, so slack for taking about 20 minutes from order to service. All of the orders were correct, the level of spice spot-on. All of the food was piping hot. Tried one of the house specialties - Chicken Methi Malai. Chunks of white meat chicken are simmered in a creamy curry spiced with fenugreek leaves. I prefer mine not too spicy, and this one was prepared perfectly. Very creamy with an earthy tone from the fenugreek. It's outstanding over the perfectly prepared basmati rice. Also tried garlic naan. As good as any I've had, the bread is crisp and charred on the outside, moist and chewy on the inside. Garlic and a little oil on the top. YUM! Be sure to save a little to mop up in the curry from the Methi Malai. Others around the table tried Samosa, Gobhi Pakora and Palak Paneer. Each is prepared deliciously, and the kitchen is paying close attention to level of spice as each was served just as ordered. Lazeez is a great addition to the Wake Forest restaurant scene. Will definitely be back.

Best Indian food I've had in a long time and in the heart of Wake Forest ! For a while there was only 1 Indian restaurant in WF which is still a good place but it's great to have another option. I believe Lazeez is a bit more upscale, a bit more refined and more flavorful. Obviously with quality comes higher pricing but I felt it was justified. We were 6 and we ordered all dishes to share. So I tried everything in the pictures and it was all delicious ! Servers were very attentive and there was a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. I truly recommend this place. By the way I asked the waiter what Lazeez meant and he said "delicious". It was indeed !!

The best Indian cuisine in the area, by far. Parking is also excellent, and staff friendly. I enjoy Chicken Tikka Masala

Best Indian food I've tried in NC. Service is a bit slow but I didn't mind. I like that their food is actually really spicy.

Delicious Indian food in Wake Forest!…read more Super kind staff and quick service. Our favorites here are the chicken Korma, the paneer palak, and the garlic naan. They do a 1-10 spice level which I love. I think a 5 has a good building heat and there are plenty of options to go hotter or more mild from there. Great for takeout or in person.

Instead, a very kind man greeted me and escorted me to a table. The restaurant is very bright inside and a little industrial, but decorated in standard well-worn Indian fare. Their menu is filled with familiar favorites and a couple surprise stand-outs like momo and some Afghani dishes. And to my very pleasant surprise, they offer goat as an option in several dishes. I love goat meat, and can't get it very often, since hardly anyone offers it. So I delighted ordered goat curry, 7 on the spicy scale, and a side of raita, in case the kitchen has a sense of humor. As it turns out, I thought the 7 was fairly med-mild, but my spice level in near super-human. But the kind waitress brought me "Spicy Sauce@ which added a delightful kick!! The curry came with rice and a nice papadaam/chutney set-up. And portions were large enough that I took half home and enjoyed it the next day (when it was even better!!). So definitely an A+ experience. Highly recommended!! Will definitely be back!!!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted, and the gentleman explained the process & showed us where we can sit. You place your order on one of the kiosks. You can order from multiple places. The lady and gentleman were extremely helpful and patient with us and our questions. Let me tell you, there is plenty of food to choose from. The only meat I eat is turkey and seafood, so there's usually not a lot that I can order when I go places. But, there are so many turkey options. I was in heaven! I ordered the turkey bbq plate with greens (with turkey) and potato salad from Wings & Turkey BBQ. It came with a roll and some coleslaw, as well. It was very good. I demolished everything (except the potato salad. The flavor was great, but I think there were onions in it. So, it was just a texture preference.) My mom ordered a burger from Dave's Burgers. She said it was delicious. The rest of the family ordered different types of wings. They were all very satisfied with their food. Before we left, we ordered the banana pudding from Humble Catering. It was so good!! Excellent service and delicious food! Sorry I didn't get many pictures. We were hungry

Since this was our first time visiting he explained the restaurants and how to order from the kiosks. It was crowded but he took time and assisted each patron individually. Order from 2 restaurants and unfortunately the food was subpar. The cheesesteak eggrolls were small but tasty. The jerk wings were made with a store bought sauce and lacked flavor. The fried fish meal was so salty we couldn't even enjoy it. The fish tasted as if the either the grease was burned or the fish was left in too long. The Cajun pasta was pictured with sausage but did not contain sausage. We added chicken which was EXTREMELY dry, like it was days old or over cooked. The cabbage was salty and the greens beans were riddled with sugar. This is a great concept. Just didn't live up to the hype.

The staff could not have been more accommodating. Our waitress, Katie, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the manager, Sammy, went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The chef even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch. We also learned during our visit that the restaurant has recently been recognized by Michelin, very well deserved. Won't be surprised if they get their first star in the coming months. Definitely save room for the desserts, I've never tasted anything like it. A perfect place for a special night, and it'll always mean a lot to us since it's where our story started. We'll be back soon.

Instead, we were met at the host stand and immediately informed of a "no children under five" policy. This was presented not as an unfortunate misunderstanding, but as an oversight on our part, with staff insisting we should have known because it appears on their website. The issue, however, is that the reservation was made through OpenTable, where no such policy is disclosed. Even after the fact, I checked the restaurant's website and found the policy buried under a separate "policies" tab--not exactly front-and-center, and difficult to miss unless you were actively searching for it. Expecting guests to intuit or independently verify hidden policies, especially when booking through a third-party platform, feels unreasonable. More disappointing than the policy itself was the tone with which it was communicated. The interaction felt cold, dismissive, and entirely lacking in hospitality. We were told that the manager could be asked, but by that point, we already felt quite unwelcome. Restaurants are, of course, entitled to set their own policies--but how those policies are communicated matters just as much. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling unwelcome and chastised rather than valued as guests. We will not be returning.
