And for gutters, it was a work of art. I doubt anyone in this field can match his skill and professionalism. I've been using Steve for over twenty years, he's local and an expert and does high quality work for a fair price. He's also an expert and problem solver, so just show him the work, and watch in awe. We had rusty gutters in need of replacement, and the property management firm had a company from out of town ready to replace everything at a very high price, and with aluminum gutters. I immediately called Steve and he did a free inspection, and told me what needed to be replaced, as opposed to ripping everything out, and gave me a fair price. He was also an expert on the Home Owners Association paint schemes, and was willing to paint the gutters to match the authorized patterns, something that was a lot more complicated then I realized. I thought the gutters and downspouts were just white, and he showed me what needed to be done. He works fast, cleans up after the job and delivered on time. He is a gem, and comes highly recommended. We always turn to him, when we need work done in this area.

We called a handful of other roofing companies to take a look and the first one to respond and come was Central Bay. Justin arrived on time and assessed both our garage roof and house roof and informed us that both roofs were in great condition and had material necessary to withstand extended water exposure. The visit could have ended there, but Justin gave us tips on how to maintain it, how to properly get on the roof, what ladder he recommends for home use, and how to tell if the drains were clogged with leaves. I was so appreciative of him going above and beyond and the entire visit earned my trust in them. If I ever have roofing needs, we'll call Central Bay, hands down.

Still, it would have been nice to have a new roof last more than three years without issues. I contacted them in 2024 about installing a skylight. We received quotes ranging from $1,500 to $4,000 from other roofers and assumed we'd be paying out of pocket. Instead of trying to sell us a repair, Carol suggested we contact Velux directly, as she thought the skylight might still be under warranty. She was absolutely right. Velux confirmed that the skylight is covered and will inspect and repair it under warranty. Carol's honesty, knowledge, and willingness to point us in the right direction saved us thousands of dollars. It's rare to find a company that puts the customer's best interests ahead of making a sale. We are incredibly grateful for her advice and professionalism. If you're looking for a trustworthy roofing company, I highly recommend Sunshine Gutters and Roofing. Thank you again, Carol!

Our estimator gave me incorrect information in developing our contract, telling me our downspouts including the downspout attachments that went underground, would be fully cleaned out during our service. When they did not clean the downspout attachments, they told me they don't do underground attachments even though the estimator told me this was included in our pricing. I paid the majority of our bill, leaving about $230 balance while I disputed the unfinished work. Eight months ago, I sent an email that was never responded to and never heard from the company again. Then yesterday when their legal department called me out of the blue to threaten to send me to collections over the unpaid balance. I replied immediately to explain the situation and their response was to say if the balance wasn't paid by the end of the day it would be sent to collections. They alleged they had called and emailed about the outstanding invoice (they hadn't - I went through my emails, spam and my phone and found no evidence of any attempts on their end to contact me). I was shocked that they took such an aggressive, threatening approach to a customer who a) they dropped the ball with and b) who was actively in good faith trying to resolve the dispute immediately once they brought it to my attention. We had a misunderstanding about the scope of work - I would have appreciated some acknowledgement or apology on their end vs. them dropping the ball completely then coming back out of nowhere to threaten me with collections. Just not a good way to do business and I am left with a very sour taste from dealing with the legal threats.

Lovett was on-time, sending an extra crew to speed up the process, and left the property cleaned up every day. Jordon, Kyle and Jose Emanuel listen and respond, always reasonable and thoughtful. Rather than trying to make them work or moving forward with substandard materials, he stopped, contacted me, explained the situation, and ordered new materials. That decision demonstrated his honesty, integrity, and dedication to quality. Mike's time management, work ethic, and attention to detail were excellent. After the service was completed, I observed debris remaining in multiple sections of the gutter system and took photographs documenting my concerns. Based on what I observed, I did not believe the entire gutter system had been fully cleaned as described in the scope of work. I contacted the company on the day of the service and requested a follow-up visit. Although a return visit was discussed, it ultimately never took place, and my concerns regarding the completeness of the cleaning were never fully addressed. Because of this, I did not feel the work fully matched my expectations for a complete gutter cleaning. To be fair, ASF did perform significant work, including gutter repairs and cleaning in other areas, and the company ultimately worked with me to reach a mutually agreed resolution of the matter. Future customers may wish to inspect the gutters carefully after service and document any concerns promptly.
