Chocolate is phenomenal with many choices for chocolates and candy as a gift or for yourself. No complaints.

I was in the area and saw Lazar's and just had to get some chocolate. The store has a good selection of different hand made chocolates. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered some orange peel and marzipan both dark chocolate covered. The candy was really good and was exceptional. Only problem was that the price is very high 32.50 a pound is outrageous in cost. Most of the places around my area charge anywhere from 18-22. Definitely worth a trip especially if cost is not a factor.

Super friendly staff and great Indian food. The chicken tikka masala is a stand out, sweet and…read morecreamy. The regular naan was cooked well however I thought the onion stuffed naan was underdone and slightly doughy. The lamb Rogan Josh is well spiced for the normal patron even though I wished it was spicier for my taste. Definitely one of the best hotel restaurants that I can think of.

Good for a hotel restaurant, but I probably wouldn't go here if I wasn't staying at The Roslyn by…read moreHilton. Well, I'm not sure how much the city of Roslyn has to offer though, so maybe it's the place to be as it got pretty packed as the evenings went on. I went once for dinner and had a pretty good shrimp cocktail with large shrimp and bland cocktail sauce, even with the extra horseradish. My seared tuna was overcooked, but had a nice flavor. Seared usually means some type of crusty charred goodness, but this didn't have it. The chai creme brûlée was good, but the sugar wasn't torched properly and didn't have that snap, crackle or pop which is what it's supposed to have. On a second night I went for cocktails which were $20 a pop! Yes, it was a bit pricey, but they were well made... with the exception of not having a luxardo cherry in "The Brooklyn". The staff was friendly and remembered me from the night before. They have a pretty good menu, and also a separate Indian menu and seemed to be a place for some local celebrations going on. Good (not great), pricey and very close to my hotel room!
