I called for a walkin for a haircut and they got me in within 30 minutes! Braily was so sweet, easygoing and such a perfectionist, very happy with her attention to detail and ability to give me exactly what i asked for! The price was also very fair, about $15 cheaper than i have been accustomed to paying They also use aveda which i love. read more

I went for a haircut and style appointment with Taylor, after seeking some recommendations in a local group. She was very friendly and informative leading up to and during the appointment. Not to add any pressure, but this was a big deal for me, as I have been recovering from brain surgery since October, and was finally able to use leave-in products and get my hair cut. Not only do I love my hair, but I've gotten multiple compliments since then. The owner was very nice and attentive as well, greeting me and offering me a drink as soon as I arrived. I felt well cared for from even before the service, and look forward to visiting my stylist again soon. read more

This isn't just a hair salon, it's a family. I haven't lived in TX very long but I found Shelby shortly after moving here and presented her with the huge task of not only correcting my hair from previous damage but installing extensions. I was so happy to have someone work with me who not only cares about achieving my dream hair, but also cares about the quality of my natural hair. She walked me through the process step by step before even touching my hair and was very transparent on the pricing which I appreciated. Not only do I have my dream hair but I have an entire salon full of ladies who feel like family. Shelby runs the salon in a way that everyone can feel welcomed, appreciated, and valued. My daughter is young and sees them as well. I always feel confident leaving her in their hands so she can practice her independence in an environment I can truly trust. The pricing on all services is MORE than fair and they will never do anything to your hair that could be detrimental in the long run to the integrity of your hair. I now drive a ways to them since I moved, but it's worth it because I'll never go anywhere else! read more

I went for a consultation for Hair Extensions! These gals are the experts. I realized it doesn't make sense to get Hair Extensions for one event because it requires maintenance. However, they offered other solution solutions such as a Halo. When I do decide to proceed, they are the ones to do it. I felt like I was speaking to Hair Engineers! I mean that in a good way, they really know what they're doing! read more

After 3 years of search, I have finally found a place that asks and understands my hair goals and is honest enough to tell me, because my hair was so damaged, they were going to do less on my hair to get to a place where I can start over. Handled my damaged hair with kid gloves and everyone is so nice here....this place is NOT a chop shop. The professionals here are able to both cut and color your hair vs. being passed from one person to the next. So thankful for them!!!!!!! read more

Awesome amazing ladies ,but not happy with haircut. I gave her a picture and told her not to short and I wanted bangs. She cut it way to short and its Nothing like the pic. Especially the bang pic.. . so i definitely wont be back read more

I love the small and more intimate setting of this salon . In an environment like this, I truly feel taken care of and that I am not just another client. The attention to detail that was given to me by Hope in ensuring the look I want and was going for was completed with such grace and she was easy to talk to. I also love that I was greeted by the sweetest pup ever when I walked in! He's the real boss of that place Sooo cute! The entire staff was very nice and the woman working the reception desk (I didn't catch her name) was also very courteous and had asked me a couple times if she could provide me with any beverage while I waited or when I snuck up to the candy bowl . I recommend this salon and since I saw Hope with a great experience, I recommend Hope for your next hair service(s)! read more

Stella is amazing!! Haven't gotten my hair done in over a year and had no idea where to start. She talked me through it and was so kind and helpful! 10/10 definitely coming back! I got the haircut and face framing highlights :) read more

I had a wonderful experience with Kenna as my stylist. She was very thorough while discussing my options and how we would achieve my hair goals. Throughout the appointment she communicated what she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. Not only did she completely transform my hair, but she also made me smile and laugh, and she was very friendly and we had great conversation during the appointment. I knew before I even saw the end result that I wanted to leave her a good review. Thank you, Kenna, for transforming my hair in a way that was better than I could imagine! read more

I was tired of my hair color and wanted something different. I was on the verge of just buying box dye and being done with it. Instead, I decided to give Layne & Co. Salon a shot and I am very happy I did. Roxie was very welcoming and made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. Makenna was so great and very knowledgeable, I showed her what I wanted and she made it happen. I look forward to my next appointment. read more

This is the salon you want to go to! Not only is it the cutest, has the most comfortable wash bowls/chairs, but Shelby is amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and always does a great job with my hair. I have A LOT of hair and I am a natural dark brunette but Shelby makes me look like I could possibly be a natural blonde. She is also very fun to talk to for the 5 hours I'm there with all my hair! She always makes me feel important and remembers things I told her months ago. All the other girls there are so kind as well. I highly recommend this salon! read more

Shelby is a magician. I have never been so thrilled following a hair appointment. My before and after photos speak for themselves, but the smile on my face is the only proof I need. I was so scared to find a new stylist but this is one of the best decisions I have made in the last year. Shelby really listened to what I wanted, looked at the pictures I brought in, got to know me during our session, and truly delivered on the hair. I was able to pick up some new lipsense colors while I was there also. This is definitely a keeper! read more

Cassidy did a spectacular color transformation on my (covid) grey grown out hair. I made the decision to embrace my grey hair. She blended the existing colored ends to compliment my salt and pepper outgrowth. Very happy with the results!!! Gave the cut a stylish update and a cool undercut to beat the Texas heat this summer. read more

Shelby is the most wonderful stylist I have ever been to. She left my hair looking better than it ever has. Will never go anywhere else.

5 stars for the best hair stylist and team! Shelby is the hair queen! She does amazing work! In the 1+ year I have seen her she's transformed my hair! From hand tied extensions, both Habit Method and IBE, to the most beautiful balayage and coloring services, she really does it all. She has an insane talent for just KNOWING you, and truly understanding what your hair goals are. She's truly passionate about making people feel good about their hair and helping them achieve those goals. Her consults for extensions are so thorough and she makes sure you understand everything (installation + costs) if it's your first time getting sewn in hair. She also blends extensions with your natural hair SO well you will leave in disbelief that is the hair on your head. She just opened a beautiful new location that is SO comfortable. It is right off of Parmer, such a great spot, quiet with plenty of parking and natural light! I have never felt so comfortable sitting in a chair! The shampoo bowls are divine, the styling chairs feel so luxurious. I feel so blessed to get my hair done in such a beautiful (new) location! I always look forward to my hair appointments, Shelby and her team are an absolute delight every single time I see them. They bring you drinks and want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible while being pampered. Whether I am going in for a new extension install, moving my rows up, color + cut, partial balayage or full balayage, or something as simple as a blowout + style, I know I am going to leave in THE best mood ever. Thank you Shelby for being my hair queen! read more

My daughter was married in October of 2018 and Shelby did all our hair. This was the first time I met her and was looking for a stylist in Austin. I have been going to her ever since. Shelby listens to what you what and will let you know her suggestions. My hair was being difficult in the beginning but we finally figured out what worked for it and off we went. I go to Shelby every 2-3 months and she and her hair color and cut never disappoint! I am so glad I finally found my person in Austin! read more

Shelby is adorable and has. Her. Shit. Together. I took my daughter to cut off ALL THE HAIRS, like 8 inches of it, and she gave my 11yo mini-me an A.W.E.S.O.M.E. cut. So i decided to go to her for my shortened adventure. Totally digging it, and its growing out great, it's so very cute! I'll try to find a picture, but don't know if i have one .... BUT IT'S DAMNED CUTE. Trust me. She's got talent. read more

I can't believe it has taken a pandemic for me to finally post a review! Not that i want more competition for a spot when shelby is back in studio. Any blonde knows, when you find your girl, you never go back. Shelby is your girl! I am a very low maintenance blonde, aka i don't keep up with my color well, but she makes it possible. It grows out so beautifully and natural-looking. Can't say enough how amazing she is! read more

Shelby is great! So easy to schedule. She does a great job on my daughters hair. We will be back soon!

Shelby did an amazing job on my color! She magically blended away the gray with highlights and lowlights and it looks great! I'm been growing out my pixie for a while now (now shoulder length but still with a bunch of layers) and she also showed me how to style it for more of the look of a smooth lob, hiding those flyaway layers, with a flatiron. I love how it looks and will definitely return. Thanks Shelby! read more
