As I sat on the consultation he made sure he answered every one of my mothers questions no matter how much time was passing. I also noticed that he was very comforting to let her know exactly what she should expect after the surgery. This was very important to my mother as she suffers from an anxiety disorder. Although my mom did not decide to follow through with the surgery, she shared with me that she would have definitely chose Dr. Hopping to do the procedure. As far as my own procedure with stitching both of my ear lobes from wearing heavy earrings my entire life, I am very glad I chose Dr. Hopping. I could have gone to any doctor and paid less but knowing that I could trust a doctor as skilled as Dr. Hopping was very comforting to me. My pre op and post op appointments were very thorough even though it such a minor procedure. Him and his staff still treated me as if I was having major surgery. My results were great with no complications and I was impressed with the minimal scarring I had. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a comforting, skilled, professional experience!!

As to me, as the result of some serious matting both pre and post COVID-19 quarantine and a haircut gone seriously bad, I turned to GL/HD *cold fusion* to fill in multiple patches of super short / chopped off hair as it grows back in and tape ins are enabling me to safely do that (zero hair damage as long as you keep up with your 6-8 week move up appts); I just wish I'd found them sooner!! They are both beyond professional, courteous, kind, compassionate and work super efficiently. Having Dr. Lindsay complete my hair restoration in 2024 was the best investment I have ever made on…read moremyself. You cannot place a dollar amount on having your self confidence restored. After 40 years of hating how I looked after 2 previous transplants completed in my 20's. I finally decided to find a reputable Dr. to help fix my badly thinning hair. I didn't want a Dr. from a big box clinic but one that had their own practice and was industry recognized and accomplished. After completing my due diligence, I decided on Dr. Lindsey. I reached out to his office and due to distance we met via a zoom consultation. He reviewed my current hair loss and assured me he could make a dramatic difference in my appearance. Based on our conversation and the overall feeling that he was the right surgeon for my transplant, I booked a date for surgery. Due to the 4 hour drive, I was unable to met with Dr Lindsey the day before my surgery. No matter, my wife and I arrived at 7 am the day of the surgery. We were promptly greeted by Dr Lindsey and his assistant Wendy. Pictures were taken and a surgical plan for how my grafts were to be used was agreed upon and the procedure started shortly after. I'm not going to lie, I was very nervous. Not because of anything Dr Lindsey did. But because of the pain I remembered from my 2 previous transplants. However, my nervousness subsided as I was given medication that quickly relaxed me. My donor area was numbed with very little pain (3 out of 10) The numbing was over quickly and I felt no pain the rest of the procedure. I transitioned to another room where my donor stripe was harvested. From there I went to another room to start the actual transplant procedure. During this procedure, Dr. Lindsey made the necessary pockets to receive the hair follicles. During this process, I felt no pain and actually fell asleep several times. Once all the hair grafts had been added, I was cleaned up and a bandage was applied around my head to protect the donor incision. I was given clear instructions on what to do that night and headed back to the hotel. I did experience a good amount of pain in the donor area but it was manageable with the prescribed pain medication. I returned the next day for a follow up. Wendy did a great job of cleaning my head. Both Wendy and Dr Lindsey clearly explained what I needed to do over the next several weeks to ensure my transplant healed properly. After 4 months my new hair started to fill in and I could not believe how incredible it looked. I actually had a hair line again. My oldest son couldn't believe the transformation either. He knew how much my hair effected my confidence. He has been bragging to all of his friends how good his dad's hair looks. I cannot express how happy I am with the results. So much so that I returned for a second surgery on 2/27/26 and had him fill in my crown area. Just like the first procedure everything went flawlessly and I can't wait to see my new hair in 3/4 months. My only regret is not doing this 20 years earlier. The one thing I have learned during this process is to make sure you get the right doctor to do your transplant. I'm so glad that I took the time to do my research. If you are contemplating this procedure, I highly recommend Dr. Lindsey. Don't be fooled by some of the ads you see for big box clinics and overseas specials. In this case, especially with your hair, you get what you pay for. Dr Lindsey and Wendy, words cannot express my gratitude to you both for giving me back my confidence, not having to go out and hide behind a hat or be afraid of how I'm gonna be perceived in public.
