My experience with Dr. Hopping and his staff was an exceptional one! I went to Dr. Hopping to get both of my ear lobes stitched as well as sat on a consultation with my mom as she decided whether or not she wanted to move forward with a neck lift. As I sat on the consultation he made sure he answered every one of my mothers questions no matter how much time was passing. I also noticed that he was very comforting to let her know exactly what she should expect after the surgery. This was very important to my mother as she suffers from an anxiety disorder. Although my mom did not decide to follow through with the surgery, she shared with me that she would have definitely chose Dr. Hopping to do the procedure. As far as my own procedure with stitching both of my ear lobes from wearing heavy earrings my entire life, I am very glad I chose Dr. Hopping. I could have gone to any doctor and paid less but knowing that I could trust a doctor as skilled as Dr. Hopping was very comforting to me. Breathing is worse. He literally surgically reduced my flow of oxygen. Nostrils flare out. Nose slants to one side, which was obvious day after and outrageous they missed this. Indent in nose where his work collapsed. He didn't remove all of a bump. Completely regret hiring this man at premium prices to do septoplasty and rhinoplasty. When I complained about the outcome, he said, "It's your fault you broke your nose." When I complained about the indent where is work collapsed, he recommended I get filler, seemingly for life. I have been coming to Dr. Hopping for many years now and he is hands down the best plastic surgeon ever and every member of his staff are wonderful too! I originally came in for removal of a scar on the side of my nose due to a skin infection and was blown away with the results. There is no evidence of the a scar at all! Dr. Hopping performed a lower face and neck lift for me that made me look a decade younger, but in such a natural way that people may comment on how good I look but have trouble pinpointing the cause of change, just as we want it. Horrible surgeon. I had Asian double eyelid surgery back in 2011 and all he gave me was scars, not folds. And yet he states in his website like he's an expert in the field. I had to go to another surgeon to fix my eyes but the scars he did on my eyelids are there for life. I went in for post op and he injected steroid into my eyes saying they are too red! My next surgeon told me he wasn't supposed to do that AT ALL to my eyes. He offered to perform another operation on my eyes after 2 weeks of not seeing the folds. Thanks but I'm never letting him touch me again. I ended up spending an additional 6k to fix the mess he made. Do not ever go to him for Asian eyelid surgery! I first went to Dr. Hopping over twelve years ago for an S-Lift to address some skin sagging and neck jowls on my lower face. Dr. Hopping and all his staff are great! My mom had eye lift surgery with him about a decade ago and it is an amazing job! Still looks fantastic and she healed perfectly. I started losing hair due to extreme stress about 6 years ago. Then about three years ago researched PRP therapy to restore hair. I found out Dr. Hopping is doing this procedure in his office and I am so happy with the results. After the initial three (schedule close together) treatments, I go for maintenance about once a year. Hair had filled in, I can't see scalp anymore when I pull my hair up, and it has more thickness. Worth the money and the temporary pain (just during the injections- take some ibuprofen or a pain pill about 1/2 hour before to take the edge off)!!! I can't say anything good about Dr. Hopping. After a year, I still regret having rhinoplasty and I am going to have revision surgery with a surgeon in Virginia. The tip of my nose is the worst! He failed to fix it with steroid shots like he promised. I always felt very rushed, which is the last way that you want to feel when making this kind of decision. Dr. Hopping performed a rhinoplasty/septoplasty procedure on my nose this past June. He was extremely thorough in going over pre-op instructions, meeting with me twice before the procedure itself, and provided a comprehensive package with detailed instructions. I was grateful that I was able to fill all of my prescriptions for the surgery before the procedure itself. ( also had a consultation with the anesthesiologist before the procedure which was great because I had had a bad reaction to anesthesia in a previous surgery. In addition to putting me completely at ease with the procedure, thanks in part to his amazing office and nursing staff who make the entire enterprise run seamlessly, the end result was phenomenal. I had absolutely no pain and very little swelling and bruising- in fact, when I went to other doctor's appointments and updated my medical history, many commented on how surprised they were by the minimal swelling. It looks completely natural, and I couldn't be happier. Never once, not even for a second, did I regret my surgery thanks to his amazing skill. I am looking forward to enjoying this nose for the rest of my life! Although I think he may be going a little overboard with the number of follow-up procedures he wants, it is clear that he takes a real interest in each patient and pride in his work.
