No complaints during my short but sweet visit to this post office. Right off the bat I appreciated the plentiful parking and the fact that there was no wait. I often put off visiting the post office in fear of the line I will find upon arrival. The staff was super friendly and helpful in helping me navigate sending the packages I was building. I also think they were as excited as I was about the new Disney villain stamps. Ahh, love me some quirky stamps. The building itself is fairly old but in a cute and vintage sort of way. Conveniently located a stones throw from one of my neighborhood favorites, Porter Books and Bread at Fort Ben.

Torn mail delivered to my house.

I have no words right now. Absolutely nothing. The mail had been doing a lot better at quality control as of late I thought.....until I saw this. Please tell me how this happens?? It's just frustrating really. Most days we have a superb mail carrier, but days like today when we have our mail delivered by someone else... things like this always seem to happen.

Mailman that cusses us out

The people are rude. They don't deliver the mail. I don't think they should be paid since they are not doing nothing.

I stopped by this location to drop off two packages with prepaid labels on them. Upon initial…read moreentry into the branch, I did not see a drop box for packages or self-service kiosk to scan those packages and receive a receipt for tracking. There may have been one around the corner, but it was not in the open for me to see from the entrance. I went into the lobby and got in line. The young woman who assisted me was fast and efficient (Clerk #77 - I didn't catch her name, but that is what was on the bottom of my receipt). I'd watched her with two people ahead of me and she seemed to be very knowledgeable as well. She scanned in my packages, being sure to weigh them for accuracy. She then asked if I needed any stamps or anything to take home. I declined. She printed my receipt and highlighted the tracking info in two places. She did this all with the utmost professionalism and a smile. Kuddos to her!

This is by far the worst postal experience I've had. If I could rate this service zero stars, I…read morewould. My package has been sitting at your facility since April 28--it's now May 30--and the tracking hasn't changed. For over a month, the only update says, "Your package is moving through the facility," yet nothing has moved. This level of service is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of accountability. If a facility cannot fulfill its basic responsibilities, it may be time to reassess staffing, training, or even consider alternative management structures.

If you've lived in Indy for any length of time, you remember when FedEx was located directly across…read morefrom Castleton Square in a much larger spot that was first a Kinko's then a FedEx/Kinko's when the two companies merged. Eventually, they moved into this two storefront location a bit west on East 82nd Street. They share space with Rumble, a boxing/fitness outfit that recently hosted a Yelp event. This is definitely a much smaller spot. Self-serve options are more limited, though they do exist including the ability to copy. The maximum package weight that can be shipped here is 150 lbs. Despite being much smaller, this location still offers both printing and shipping services. Printing services include self-service copying, scanning, and faxing. They also include shredding, copy/print, free wi-fi hotspot, passport photos/renewals/expediting, direct mail, computer all-access stations, architecture/construction/engineering prints, business cards, flyers, postcards, labels, promo products, custom-branded boxes, padded mailers, and more. Shipping services include getting a shipping label, express drop-off, ground drop-off, being able to hold both express and ground packages for pickup (great for those not able to be home for a package), QR code returns, return shipping, packing, packaging supplies, and international shipping. There are two accessible parking spots directly in front of Rumble with a curb-cut. There's a blue-striped spot between the two spots for wheelchair access (technically NOT ADA since ADA requires blue stripe access for both passenger and driver). Still, it's better than most. There's a single glass entry doorway. It's within visibility of the counter if assistance is needed, though when I entered the sole employee was in the back. I only needed to ship out a lab test on this visit. It was pre-packaged with a shipping label already affixed. The employee took the box, gave me a receipt, explained tracking, and we were done. He was friendly, efficient, and I was out pretty quickly. A customer actually opened the door for me on the way out. I spent many special projects hanging out at the old Kinko's. I've always kind of missed it, but time moves on. This was a solid visit to this new location and I won't hesitate to go back if needed. While it seems easier to just have FedEx drive by the house to pick up a package, I've always found drop-off easier and this worked quite well.

There weren't any issues with any of the boxes - he just had to scan them. Also, not sure why FedEx has a location that doesnt have an automatic door. Its a brand new building - why not put one in??
