The message also said a note was left on the door- but there was no note. I had to go online and reschedule delivery for Tuesday. Tuesday came and went no delivery, no update to the status... nothing. I called Wednesday and spoke to a rep who advised the mail carrier was a woman who probably couldn't carry the mattress and they would see if they could get a man to deliver today if someone would be there. That's great and hope they get it delivered... I will update this review if they do get it delivered today. My issue is, why didn't said female Mail carrier coordinate with someone on Monday or the reschedule Tuesday? Shouldn't it be their actual job to make sure the mail, packages ect gets delivered?! Why is it the customer's job to get it figured out?! I'm thankful that i found a phone number to call directly to the Lawrence PO because I tried the 800 number yesterday and was on hold for 40 mins and no one ever came to the phone and the website did nothing for me. I rescheduled on the website like I was instructed by the automated system and you see nothing was resolved or even updated. I had to call myseland get it taken care of... hopefully. Gang, this experience was rough. For starters, they were super busy with a line that barely moved…read more(both inside and at the sec checkout kiosk). Second, the staff didnt seem very proactive in problem solving some of the issues that arose during our visit. I stepped up to the sec service kiosk and one of the workers was operating it (not so self service). She quickly tapped in my order of 80 postcard stamps and after it started realized that it was individually printing each stamp (with no folding edges). The process of printing each stamp ended up taking 20 minutes!! Keep in mind, this is after I already waited 15 min in line to get to the kiosk. I asked if she had postcard books that she could swap out so we wouldn't have to wait and she laughed and shook it off - "you're going to be here for awhile!". At this point, I was stick after spending nearly $50 on the stamps. I asked another worker who walked by if she could help and she said I'd have to go inside and wait in line (which would require leaving the stamps as they're printing...). Overall, a frustrating experience. It seems that this location could use a little more coaching/improvements. I'll be going elsewhere in the future.

I have been to the counter once and the employee was very nice. I have been at many different times of day and there always seems to be a few people in line. There is a lobby area with PO boxes and then there is the service area, and they have different hours. It's not the nicest place or the nicest part of town, but the parking is very easy. The UPS Store located on E Washington St is always crowded. Now they have added a self-check…read morestation for package drop off but there was no signage to alert customers to this time saving feature. When the store is crowded it would be of great help. While I stood in a line of 5 people, the clerk could have announced that there was a self -scan station over at the west side of the store. I didn't notice it until a 6th customer entered the store and went there directly. There should also be clearer signage as to what bins to place your items in after scanning. Since I couldn't make out what went where I just left mine on the counter. The clerks seem to always be in a bad mood. These days I don't expect a warm welcoming smile when doing business in retail establishments, but some form of acknowledgement is appreciated. It goes a long way toward fostering good customer relations.
