Mushroom Swiss Burger and Potato Salad
Brigitta F.

I like this dinor! Cute, VERY small nice ambiance dinor. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, which was HUGE and fixed to perfection. Potato salad was good, but sweet, which I'm not a fan of "sweet" potato salad. I've eaten here other times for breakfast, and it was always good. Be prepared for a line out the door, so don't go during high volume hours. My only complaint? The dinor is drafty, and where we were seated I was in a direct line of the draft... so I was freezing!! I had to eat with my coat on. Other than that.. I recommend this dinor! (Heads up ownership - caulk your windows!! )

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. We loved it!! The chef really knows his way around the grill and the owner was great with sarcasm and humor. They greeted most of the locals with first name recognition and treated us non locals like locals. The food was made to order and delicious. If you need a substitution, you got it no hassle or up charge. They are there to make sure you enjoy what you eat. The trolly car creates a unique atmosphere that completes the experience. From the desserts to the main course, you can't go wrong with eating here!!

Went for breakfast but ended up with lunch because it switched over to a lunch menu by the time we had arrived. Upon first glance it is a cute small neighborhood place. Our server seemed to know most of the customers who walked in after us as regulars. The lunch menu reminded me of a pretty standard diner menu. The food was good. Enjoyed our visit there and will consider going back again, but earlier for breakfast!

I ordered breakfast food for pick up and they were fast and friendly. The pancakes, sausage, eggs and toast were amazing! Nice little diner tucked away on Main Street through LP, nice seating, lighting and looks family oriented.

Ran across this QUAINT little diner on a 60th birthday/girls road trip. Loved every aspect of this place - the charm of the old train style building, the deliciously grilled food or the charming local teacher working the outdoor seating area. Our favorite stop of our entire cross country drive!

Two Eggs potato's and Toast

Ty atmosphere is so welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was super speedy! We were seated and served in under 10-15 minutes. It is a little small in the restrooms but it adds to the charm of the place!

I passed The Lighthouse Inn & Restaurant on my way to Presque Isles and went back around 6pm and managed to get their last room. I had a very nice conversation with the lady that owns the place when I checked in. I found my room to be pleasant and very clean. The room was nice and quite. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I had a very good nights sleep and a nice shower the following morning. For a last minute trip over a holiday weekend, I could not have been luckier to find a clean and cozy room that was in a great location. It was close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. If I am ever in need of a room again when passing through Erie, this will be my first choice for a place to stay.

We will always stay there when we're in town. It is immaculately clean, quiet, good "air" (no smells, good temp), fresh linens--updated enough to be pleasant and fresh--but with yesteryear charm. We appreciated the good TV and WIFI, the "motor court" style, with parking right outside our door, the friendly-hands on owners, the beautiful stream across the street, the comfortable beds, strong shower, black out curtains--and VERY affordable rates. It is refreshing in its simplicity and quality, and it's location is very convenient.

For my entrée, I ordered the tiger shrimp and grits. The grits were creamy, the blistered tomatoes added the perfect touch of acidity, and all of the components of the dish came together beautifully. My friend ordered the lemon and honey chicken and said it was excellent as well. The atmosphere at Born and Braised feels intimate with a beautiful art deco vibe. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu.

We brought a bottle of wine, they have a liquor license but currently don't serve wine or beer. Server didnt write the order down correctly, they brought the wrong food to the table, then we waited a while longer. They asked if we wanted a complementary cocktail which was nice but we were enjoying our wine. It just didn't make sense, maybe a salad, bread or appetizer since we were still waiting for our food. Food arrived but server didnt give us silverware abs we had to wait/ask for that too. When the bill came they still had the food wrong so that needed corrected too and we didn't catch it till after we paid and tipped. Maybe our server had an off night but then he made a comment about not wanting to overcharge us and to "save us money" by adjusting the bill. It was his mistake for charging us for the wrong meal and we pointed it out. Ambiance, I would have enjoyed them dimming the lights a bit. Seemed like it was plenty bright.

Two45 Waterfront Grille fails to impress…read more.. Accidental reservation on my part! My parents and sister live in Erie and I visited recently and I had lunch nearby and it was great. I didn't think too much into the reservation but when I showed up it was definitely not the place I recall (now known as Pier 6) but I recall looking at photos that it would be worth checking it out. We were promptly seated and greeted by the waitress. The lunch menu is brief with a few items in each section of Apps, salads, sandwiches and plates. We opted for the calamari as we heard it was a good app to start with. At the same time we ordered drinks which consisted of coffee, Expresso martini and the aperol spritz. The calamari came out and it was a good amount. However, they were very small and it was dry. We got the perch sandwich and it came out with an enormous amount of shoe string fries which imo are the worse type as they are typically over fried and so were these. Frying a good filet of fish is usually a bad idea and this sandwich would be better served to be grilled when your fries are fried and the calamari is fried too. Service was slow for being an empty restaurant. Note: we had a 4 year old with us and the key is to always rush their food asap so they stay content. Since we waited a bunch of time, we had some ancy people at the table after 1 hour 45 minute lunch where the room was essentially empty. Much improvement can be had otherwise spend your dollars at Pier 6 for a much better experience.
