I have been going to another salon but recently started noticing some concerns. So I decided to try Lavergne Nails. They have SO many colors choices; many of which have the matching regular polish already with it (no searching)! They are a team of two. The shop is simple & small in size but it comes with an excellent experience. It is preferred you have an appointment, which I did not have. However, I had some favor on my side because I walked in during someone' canceled appointment. I am VERY particular about the shape of my nails and final look. This place is an unexpected gem in this little city. I usually go to get my nails done at a place out in Cool Springs, but I didn't want to make the drive out there so I looked for somewhere here. Lavergne Nails is going to be my new go to. Everybody in there is very kind and friendly, and you can tell by the way they greet their customers. I was very pleased with my service. My nails were done quickly, but not rushed. The gentleman named Long did my nails and they look fantastic! I got gel polish on my natural nails with a couple gems. Long did a great job with shaping. My nails are not lumpy or overly thick which is a problem I often have at other salons. The pricing was great as well. I don't know what I'll do if I ever move away. My is the most incredible nail technician I've ever been to. She remembers everyone's name and always makes you feel like you're family, but you should MAKE AN APPOINTMENT before you come. My talked me into switching from acrylic to dip on one of my first appointments and I'm so happy she did! I am a regular customer every 3 weeks getting pedicure and fill in. My last visit on Saturday December 18 was awful. It started with woman doing my pedicure cut too close on my cuticles I expressed the pain. Then she was one doing my fill in she began drilling too close to my cuticles I expressed the pain again. When it came time to pay she asked if I wanted to include a tip I said No! She brings receipt with tip line added I entered $0. I guess she was trying to force me to leave a tip. I normally do but this visit did not need to be rewarded! I go to drying station for my nails, normally they bring my purse etc to me since my nails are wet but this time when I had to ask her, she slides chair holding my purse and coat and says "can you see?" Leaving my keys laying on counter. I left without making owner aware of this visit but I will be calling when they open on Monday to let her know what happened and to let her know we as black people are the majority of her customers and this treatment even though I may be just one is unacceptable! My last comment is they are so disrespectful talking in their native Asian language when customers are there because we don't know what they're saying for all we know it could be derogatory! To conclude I wouldn't recommend this nail salon to ANYONE!! Will not be coming back! read more

Tina does a great job, but she doesn't respect costumers...Every time that I tried to make an appointment on Saturday she said that she couldn't take appointment on Saturday, so I had to go every Saturday at 8:30 am and wait to 9:30 am to be able to get out early bc If I didn't do it I would spend me entire Saturday there... Guess what??? Today I spent 1 and half hour waiting outside to make sure that I was first and when she arrived she told me that she had an appointment... so, do u give appointments on Saturday or not? Are u equal to every costumer or not? Do u care about the reputation of your business or not?? And the worse thing was that she didn't even care!! She didn't apologize or anything!! Horrible! This is one of those salons I would give a chance time and again in hopes that maybe it would be different in a GOOD way- NOPE! They always suck. Owner is rude. Coughed all over my feet once. Would randomly get up from doing my nails to go into the back room for forever and I mean, do my nails for five minutes, get up to disappear for five mins, come back for another min, and then disappear again. Now repeat 20 more times. I brought my mother with me another time and she took so long my mother fell asleep! I asked her as politely as I can, how much longer it would take (mind you I came in for the same thing), she told me 15 mins but it took 45!! That was my mother's birthday, too! The worst part was that when it came time to ring up she kept changing the charge amount for the total! The other girl that's usually there knows English, they both do, but she still used a razor on my feet. This was the last straw. I will never go back! My feet was perfectly FINE!! Now, after visiting there, my feet is unbearably ROUGH! The new salon I went to the girl told me that they never should have used it on my feet! Never again!! read more
