She did an excellent job and paid close attention to details with my desired design! Due to scheduling conflicts on my part, it was easier for me to schedule appointments with Trang (with no fault to Ricki or Trang) and have been a loyal customer since. Trang not only cares about my thoughts and concerns but cares about the health of my nails. She's also great with designs (see the posted design of my nails she did for my engagement shoot)! I found this salon randomly today, it was close to me and had a great price for the service I was seeking, a simple manicure. After I finished and left I immediately got on here to leave a review. First of all, I was shocked to see all the nasty, mean reviews! Yelp can be such a toxic platform! That being said, I have to HIGHLY disagree with all the negative things I read! When I walked in as a new, first time customer, I was greeted by a friendly woman working. I asked if they had time for a manicure and she nodded toward another woman said yes and then she immediately got up and invited me to sit at her station. I sat down and she started working on me. She was so friendly and nice! I immediately felt welcome and comfortable! Which hasn't always been my experience in other salons. So I was super happy for that! The whole experiences was 5 stars, all around! And my manicure looks PERFECT!! My tired, dry, cracked, unkempt fingers no longer look like I work all day every day with my hands. And the hand massage was EVERYTHING!! So to anyone who complained, I def don't understand! Also, if you're complaining about prices, you're not living in today's economy! I was excited about coming here because it close and looks like a nice place. After waiting for over an hour, I got an ok pedicure that was overpriced compared to the brochure. I was also on the list to get both my fill and a pedicure. Two hours later I only have my nails when feet done every two one and was told there is an hour wait on the other. I get my services done every two weeks and after waiting this long only to be overcharged from the advertised price and only half of my services. This place is TERRIBLE! I just got charged $40 just to set my feet in some warm water!! A friend of mine, Brenda, took me here yesterday and it was awesome. It's really good to set an appointment because they do not seem to have a large staff, unless I came on a day when no one was really working. Please be mindful that they take their appointment seriously and sign in as soon as you get there, there might still be a wait though, but it is totally worth it I got their pedicure which is the only one they offer. It's called a spa pedicure and is pretty good. The massage at the end is the icing on the cake, I like to get upgrades in my pedicures and they don't really offer any but for $25 there is no complaining, it was not rushed, and it felt like a $40 pedicure They didn't have enough techs there to do my acrylic so that was a tad bit disappointing, but I'm guessing they were not expecting to have many people there on a Tuesday. I've seen their acrylic set On my friend who brought me multiple times in those girls are dynamite, needless to say I was a tad bit sad that I didn't experience it. Usually seeing 5 people ahead of me would have prompted me to walk right out the door, but I'm so glad I stayed and waited the hour. Trang made sure that I was pleased with my services and I was! She was extremely personable and friendly (and not in an annoying, fake way either). I came in to get a manicure (gel polish) and a pedicure with regular polish. They only had one yellow color and it was gel and not what I wanted. I was here already so I decided to stay during the pedicure. For $20 you get the basic pedicure with no massage, hot towels, etc. He used the gel nail polish on my toes because they didn't have regular polish. They also do not sanitize their tools. The ones that were used on me were in a dusty dirty plastic bin, looked old and the man that did my pedicure did not wear gloves. I'm also not sure if they sanitized the pedicure tub before I used it. When he was done with the pedicure, I didn't get any lotion either. I'm guessing I needed to pay extra for that. I told him I did not want a manicure anymore because I did not want to pay for service that was not up to my standards. My sister & I showed up around 10:30 AM the other day. It was busy so we sat & Waited till 2:30 we then asked one of the sisters how much longer they said "we'll take y'all in 2-3 hours" so we said we would come back. We went back around 2:30 thinking we would be up soon. I got a full set of acrylic nails and I was happy with my nails until the next day they started already pulling up on the edges and the nail polish on the ends and corners of nail was wearing off after 2 days. Never had this happen from any salon. So I called and I tried to have them fixed at least like 5 times. They could never squeeze me in and said after 2 weeks when they could fit me in said it's time for a fill in so I'd be charged. Not happy and will not be back. read more

Had a very poor experience one Saturday and decided to give them a second chance since my regular nail tech wasn't there. They were unapologetically rude again (especially one of the daughters). Customer service 101: if you get a second chance to satisfy a disappointed customer, do it! I'm highly involved in the Antioch/La Vergne community. Wait time is ridiculously long. I waited an hour and thirty minutes for gel nails that literally only took twenty minutes to do. I am not satisfied with my nails. Gel nails are suppose to last up to two week and mine are already chipping and peeling three days later. This is second time my gel nails have peeled from this salon. The first time I though it was just the brand of polish I chose, but that isn't the case. My nails were rushed through and polish was painted too thick! Not worth the ninety minute wait at all. I could literally sense that she was bad mouthing me in her language. The father clearly doesn't feel you should have a complaint or concern about service. But what did it for me recently is that Ricky actually kicked one of my friends out because she expressed that she didn't like the service she got the time before. Then told her they only had two nail techs that Saturday, and what did she expect. How about some fucking courtesy and patience!?. I won't be back. I have been coming here for years and I will not return! I get in and request my usual (2 acrylic toe nails) since my big toes nails are pretty much nonexistent. The man tells me "she's ready for you" and she directed me to the booth next to her. She is paying more attention to the video on her phone rather than me. After about 4-5 mins she finally comes over but still staring at her phone. I inform her what I want and she tells me "ten dollars". Ok. Great. She places the acrylic on the toes, goes back to to her phone. No drilling, No filing. Didn't even offer to paint it so it matched the others...I ask "are you done?" she said yes. At this point, so am I...I walk to the front, hand her my card and she gives me a receipt that read $20.00. She said "ten dollars" and I'm always charged that amount. I told her that price was not fair at all especially when I could get a full-set for like $25. All she did was literally put aryclic on 2 toes! 2! I tried to reason and she blew me off and kept saying "you said ok" which I agreed with because she said "ten dollars" not "ten dollars each". I was ripped off and I refuse to let it happen again. I have been going to this spa for over a year on and off. Initially it was a little rocky as far as customer service is concerned, especially when they are busy (blatant insensitivity). I decided to stick with it because they catered to the type of nails that I like, which is rarity in this city. As time progressed, I became a regular and the customer service improved for me, but for anyone that I referred them to them, who actually went, not so much. Customer service was the issue. I took a break from going within the last couple of months due to personal reasons, but recently attempted to book with one of the younger girls who was my main nail tech and to my surprise, NO REPLY. Almost a week went by (I contacted her the way I knew to and via email). Today, I walk in and immediately was rejected. I knew the girl I normally go to would be busy, so I was open to the others, but was not even given an option to see anyone else. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars in this place and was treated very poorly today and I do not appreciate this type of treatment once again, which is LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! You would think I never spent a dime in there! Even if I hadn't, there is still a certain level of CUSTOMER SERVICE (especially when dealing with CUSTOMERS directly ...(especially LONG TIME CUSTOMERS AT THAT) that a business should have PERIOD! The way the girl I normally go to was so short and irritated, you would think I called her out of her name or left a sack of shit on front of their door. Overall I am very disappointed in the way I was handled tonight. I wasted gas to get there all to be treated like my money and business didn't matter..as if we had some unspoken "beef" or dispute. I started going to them in 2009 after being on the search and unhappy with several nail salons. Initially, I was very happy. Over the years, I've recommended them a lot of business. The husband and wife that own the salon are great as is their daughter. They always do a fantastic job. However, they have a lady working there that only does pedicures and painting. Horrible!!! A few years ago, she did a paint job and design that left much to be desired. When I got to the owner for the fill in, I asked if she could redo the design on my toes. I went yesterday and lo and behold, who do I get to do the polish change on my toes?! So, I'm thinking maybe she improved over the last couple years. NOPE! The design did not look professional at all. I was hoping the scenario would play out the same as before with my fill in where I could get it redone. And, I get her back again. She put a white flower over a white tip with clear polish. Really!? It looks like a 6 yr old did the design. We all know we pay way too much to have our nails done and them look that bad. Even the gel coat is lumpy. She had me walking around barefoot even though I came in with flip flops on so that it would be easier to do the polish change. Also, it is about a 20 min. drive for me to go there. Although I love the owners, they should have got rid of her a long time ago. They've lost a loyal customer now. If you go, it is imperative that the owners or their daughter do your nails. Now, today, because I don't feel like driving back to LaVergne, I am going somewhere else to pay for them to fix them. read more

I have been searching for a new mail salon since moving to the area and went here today after hearing great things. I called ahead and was able to get a same day appointment for a fill in on my overlay as well as a pedicure. When I arrived I was excited to try a new place. That excitement maintained through a wonderful pedicure, only negative at that point was the massage chair not working. After my pedicure was done and looking great I moved to get my fill in which only increased the problems. The nail tech never spoke to me and proceeded to change my oval nails to almond as well as shorten them without consent. After dealing with the the disappointment it the overall shape of my nails and deciding they would just grow back I washed my hands to realize they felt rough. The nail tech then began polishing missing the sides of my nails entirely but covering my cuticles in polish. He then tried to clean up my nail beds but the damage was already done. The next tech came and did my design for my ring fingers which looked beautiful. I will try and give this place a second chance based on all the reviews But will be choosing who I see next time, the woman next to me seemed to have the perfect technician read more
