I told her I wanted round nails and she started doing them square. I corrected her and said round again and she still did them as square with rounded edges. Finding a nail salon can be challenging, but I was so happy with this spot! My friends and I came for mani-pedi's and loved the experience! The setup is great for groups. They have sectioned off areas so you have some privacy which is just a nice perk. One of my friends comes often and gets very unique designs--always well done. Our manicures were nice as well. I wish we could have sat together for our nails, but I understand the techs have separate stations setup. All-in-all it was a good experience! read more

Got a pedicure- I wasn't paying attention and was talking with my daughter- got home and realized the lady didn't put any top coat on my toenails. They also charged me $15 for taking of polish instead of the $5 that is listed. I talked with them and just decided to not tip at all. I also asked the lady to make sure she removed the callus on the bottom of both of my feet-- she sure didn't. read more

My second time getting my nails done here. I was super happy with my first nail job but when I went for my second sadly I was not. I felt super taken advantage of. I always get dip nails. I got the exact same thing done just changed colors. After wards the first time I went was charged $55 for dip and for the exact same thing the next time I was charged $70!!! They never told me anything was going to be additional charge or that since the last time I came (which was in the same month) that we prices had changed. I appreciate that my nails look nice but isn't that what I am paying for? Why take advantage of your customers like that? I always have my nails and feet don't and to be honest $70 for just normal dip nails is HighWAY Robbery. That's ridiculous. Thanks but no thanks. On to the next.. read more

In the past month, I've tried Ombré Nail Bar twice, both times for a gel manicure and pedicure. The first service was just mediocre. Upon leaving, somewhat dissatisfied, another client recommended "V" so I decided to give the salon another try. Yesterday, "V" gave me a botched gel manicure and pedicure. Unfortunately, her polishing skills are rather amateurish and her customer service is even worse. First of all, she literally talked my head off so there was absolutely no chance to relax. Then upon completing my service, "V" never bothered to thank me for my patronage and did not instruct me as to how to check out. Rather, she turned her entire attention and conversation to a nearby client who incidentally is a professional in a field in which "V" has interests. Her behavior was quite unprofessional and immature. Regretfully, I am going to have to visit another salon as soon as possible to remove the sloppy gel job and to have polish reapplied in a more professional manner. My check-out at Ombré was not much better. The worker who manned the desk was dismissive and never offered me a receipt until I demanded one after she hastily walked away before completing my transaction. This salon's new owners need to "clean up their act" if they expect to be successful in this very competitive environment. read more

I needed to get a pedicure and I just happened to notice a new (to me) nail salon at the Avenue. I was able to get in quickly. It's beautifully decorated, with lots of polish choices. It's open, relaxing and above all clean. They used fresh utensils for me. I had the organic pedicure, with hot stones and throughly enjoyed it! My birthday is Monday and I'm treating myself early. I enjoyed my Moscato and being pampered. I would definitely recommend the next time you need your nails done. I plan on returning next month and trying more of the services. I truly appreciated how Jackie and Liam made me feel very welcomed and relaxed. I think I found my new spa. I've been searching for that perfect spot since my last manicurist moved away. While I was happy with the end result, I don't know that I will rush back here. I initially went for a gel manicure. I had 2 different techs in the process of getting my old gel removed. It seemed as if they were taking on too many customers at once, causing techs to jump around. I ended up going with a dip manicure instead and was transferred to yet another tech. She did a good job and I was happy with the final product. However, I was shocked to find out the $50 dip manicure doesn't include any of the typical services associated with a manicure. Most nail salons weren't open, but we came across Ombré and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing experience from start to finish.
