Lavender nails is my favorite place to go, the location is great and the service is amazing. Everyone is so sweet and so nice and if they don't understand what you want, they will find out a way to make it happen. I got nails a couple of weeks ago and they lasted me almost a month. They were a little grown out, but I had to keep them on for a special occasion. The nails looked incredible throughout the whole thing and I think that really shows how much work they put into their clients. inside is absolutely so relaxing. They always have music playing and scenic backgrounds playing on the television. It seems very relaxing and very peaceful. I went here for the first time to get my nails and toes done. I had a filling and a pedicure. The lady doing my nails told me that whoever I went to did a bad job and they left gaps in between my nails which caused the lifting and could cause fungus. She said she would fix it in the process of fixing she put the machine 2 close to my nail bed and I have multiple cuts on multiple fingers that burn! Then we move on to my toes. She must of thought she was a podiatrist that she felt she could take out what she thought was an ingrown nail and it hurt! After that I went home and the next day my toe was red and swollen. I'm extremely upset as it looks infected now. All this and I paid $126 for me to have cuts and a nail infection? What kind of place is this. Then she charges my card and forgets to tell me that there's a service charge when using a card. My service was $100 and it was a $10 additional fee that I wasn't informed about. The worse experience I had at a nail salon. I would never in my life go back to this place nor do I recommend anyone go here. I'm sorry but I tried giving them a chance but this what beyond bad. They must be new but not knowing what ur doing is just not ok and messing with peoples feet and causing infections is not ok!!! Don't waste ur time or money! read more

They do amazing work. However, it is annoying when they say they take walk-ins but are always booked. I've come several times only to be told to come back at a later time. I would still definitely recommend them. Their pedicures are amazing. They really take pride in their work. I just wish their walk-ins were easier to obtain. The staff is very professional. Gel polish is hard enough on your nails. But, this salon didn't use Acetone and foil to take my polish off, they used the harsh damaging electric file to grind off not just the polish- but the sensitive healthy nail bed underneath. WHY? Why is it with nail salons you make an appointment then you arrive at set appointment time and then are made to wait to be taken ... and I don't mean 5-10 min more like 25-30 . I advised at time of appointment I would be coming on my lunch hour and only had limited time. After sitting waiting 30 minutes not taken yet I left. I understand people come late and issues can arise but then you account for that error in scheduling. If I was going to wait 30 minutes to be taken I would have just came 30 minutes later . I keep meaning to write a review so I will now, as I sit getting a pedicure. This place is hands down the BEST for pedicures. They are really thorough with cleaning your nails and doing a REAL pedicure. They massage your feet and all even with just the basic pedicure. I haven't tried the manicure service yet because I have a technician elsewhere that I am loyal to. I will try one day. The only downside is color selection. I really wish they invested in the Essie gel line, but they do a great job with regular polish either way. The staff is always very sweet and I've never had an issue getting right into a chair without an appointment, although I would recommend an appointment because they are usually quite busy. The salon is very clean and comfortable. I should add I hate pedicures because I hate my feet being touched, but I've learned to love coming here to get my feet done. This is the best nail salon in Freeport and Baldwin that I have been to, hence why they are ALWAYS booked. Definitely try to make an appointment before you walk in, because even though they really try their best to accommodate everyone, 9/10 times you'll be waiting a while before they can take you. The ladies at this salon are super nice, do great work, and are extremely reasonably priced. If you want quality work in a clean environment, then come here. The worker Hilda started my toes and then told me to wait an additional time because someone came in. Keep in mind it's 2:30 and I have 2 other people who came in for the same service. I recently moved and needed a new nail salon. Lavender is close to my house and had good reviews. I decided to give it a try. I had color gel on my nails already, and Imelda gently removed it. I have been coming to this place for years, when it was owned by Helen. I have always loved it, was always very pleased with my nails & the staff were friendly. However, I scheduled an appointment yesterday (6/12) for an acrylic fill in. As soon as i walked in, i was given attitude. A blonde lady, can't remember her name, who has never done my nails before, told me to come sit in the chair, being very nasty. so i did, she asked how i was & i smiled & asked her how she was, that's the only time she talked to me. I told her the shape i had was the one i wanted to keep, she completely messed that up. She was glaring at me and giving me nasty looks the entire time i was there, i felt so uncomfortable. (Even after i gave her a tip, no thank you or anything from her, completely rude and nasty for no reason). My appointment was at 5:30, by the time she was finished it was 7, and i didn't want to keep them past closing time so i just left afterwards. My nails look terrible, they're extremely thick and all uneven, different shapes & lengths, she did a terrible job with the polish & she didn't bother to check to make sure they were all even (as Imelda or any of the other girls usually do). She cut up my cuticles, they were bleeding & she would continuously stick her bare nail with acetone in the cuts. I will NEVER go here again & i suggest you don't. The service is very inconsistent & i would much rather drive 30 mins some place else than go here. save your money!!!! read more
