CU2 Nails & Spa is the only nail salon I go to. The owners Kevin and Coco do excellent work, run on time, and are pleasant and friendly. The shop is spacious, quiet, clean and spa-like with chill music; no shouting or blaring TVs like in other places around here so it's a nice relaxing experience. Their gel manicures stay strong for weeks, prices are reasonable and there's plenty of parking in front of the store. I recently became a new client and this past weekend was my 2nd time here. I really love how relaxing and professional this Nail Spa is and have found a new local home spa. They offer so many spa services and have a beautiful spacious spa that is built for a Queen. The owner is very nice and professional and they all have great phone etiquette when scheduling appointments. Carol & CoCo are great. Both visits I made my appointment the same day and received great service. I love that the music they play is relaxing showing that they respect their clients relaxation time. Prices are affordable for the services. I first had tips done here with SNS Pink and white nails. This was my first time getting tips. They explained the process and CoCo was my technician. I really like how the nails were shaped and filed to look natural. I received so many compliments on how beautiful they look. Recently I had a regular pedicure done and I'm very happy with it. I went there to get a gel manicure at 4:46 PM. I felt rushed; they didn't clean my nails properly, and the lady working on me didn't even apply the hand lotion or oil correctly. This was my second time at this shop. I got a regular mani pedi and decided to go back to get a full set. The entire staff is very nice and is welcoming... I love the color; they did the exact vision I had! I'm so surprised and shocked right now... My nails look like already need a refill, and I had them done yesterday... It's been a.24 full hours... The owner refused to correct the changes and advised me that my nails have grown in since Monday! And that is normal, ridiculous! What a hidden gem. The outside. Not so nice. Regardless that it's in the parking lot they had something on the windows that you cant see in so its looks sortive abandoned.. weird. I didnt even know it was a nail salon. But inside it was surprisingly clean, tranquil, and spacious. The gentlemen who did my nails was so helpful. I was removing fake nails which cause a slight fungal infection and he cleaned it up as much as he could, trained me on how to maintain a clean nail and did a fabulous manicure. Okay so I really was excited to go here as I saw they had good reviews. Well my expectations were very very wrong. 1. After my nails were painted she got polish all in between my skin and toes. I had to remove it. 2. I asked for a SNS manicure. Well before you start the powder you usually get a "manicure" you know clean the nails and cut cuticles. Well she did none of that. Just went straight to powder. All of my nails were different lengths and I kept telling her that and she did nothing about it. So I had to file my own nails while sitting in the chair. I also asked for square nails- I got round. Also sns should make your nails strong. I can bend my nails. I can literally bend them. She left all my nails dirty with black powder all over the sides. No cream after the nails were done. No nothing. Just a horrible experience. P.S- it has been 4 hours since I have gotten my nails done. My pointer finger has already broken. read more

I normally don't come out to long island to get my nails done. But, maybe i should. The salon was huge, clean, and quiet. They did an okay job. I've had my gel manicure and regular pedicure for about 2 weeks now. The gel mani lasted, and still looks good. I definitely need a new pedicure tho. Lol. I've been coming here for almost a year. When I do my Dad and sister come with me. I spend a good $100 plus here every two weeks. They had gotten our appointment wrong for the second time. The guy that works there, I think Kevin, he was very short and rude to us. Didn't offer to accommodate us for THEIR mistake. They tried to say we had a Thursday appointment but we booked for Friday, closer to Halloween. The funny part is, both times we "missed" our appointment we've never received a phone call ever. For the past three times I've been here I've had to wait a good 20 minutes plus even with an appointment. They never apologize when they've made us wait a long time. I guess it's been time to find a new nail salon but this was it for us. Their work is good but they don't care about their customers at all. read more

Annie was attentive and was courteous enough to make sure I liked the color I chose and stopped to ask me questions such as if the water temperature was okay. Came here from the great reviews I read on Google and Yelp! I love coming here. I've been here three times and I always get my nails done by the woman that usually answers the phone. I don't know her name, but I love her so much. She always gets the shape that I ask her exactly right and asks me if I like the shape/color before we finish the whole set. Last time I got a really light pink and she asked me if I preferred three coats, which I did, which I really appreciated. Most nail techs skip over that and leave my nails streaky-looking. But not this place! Acrylic refills with UV gel polish cost me $30 and it always looks absolutely perfect. This is my new favorite place to get my nails done. :) read more

I got an SNS Manicure with Ombré Sparkles. I've gotten a lot of compliments. I liked it very much. They did a good job and stayed open late to finish. It's lasted great for over a week so far and it feels like it should continue to last. Photo is taken after over a week and I'm very rough on my hands and nails. SNS was $35 plus $3 because I broke a nail and needed to add one tip to one finger. Then an additional $10 for the Ombré. That tracks with most local places. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS SALON!!! THEY SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY! They UPCHARGE LIKE CRAZY. They charge $10 extra if you want to keep your acrylics any length but super short. They charge $10 EXTRA for nail polish with glitter and or if you want gel instead of regular nail polish. Their fees are ridiculous. They charge $10 EXTRA to shape the nails into any shape but square or round. They charge extra to take off even a little gel polish left on your toes if you want a regular non gel pedicure. The place is clean and mostly empty but that's probably because no one goes because of their sneaky ass prices!!! The worst part is they tell you about all these up charges once the acrylic is already on so you have no choice but to continue or rip them off right there! They are VERY SNEAKY!
