CU2 Nails & Spa is the only nail salon I go to. The owners Kevin and Coco do excellent work, run on time, and are pleasant and friendly. The shop is spacious, quiet, clean and spa-like with chill music; no shouting or blaring TVs like in other places around here so it's a nice relaxing experience. Their gel manicures stay strong for weeks, prices are reasonable and there's plenty of parking in front of the store. CU2 is popular so they can get busy, best to call ahead for an appointment although they do take walk-ins as well. Fantastic. read more

I recently became a new client and this past weekend was my 2nd time here. I really love how relaxing and professional this Nail Spa is and have found a new local home spa. They offer so many spa services and have a beautiful spacious spa that is built for a Queen. The owner is very nice and professional and they all have great phone etiquette when scheduling appointments. Carol & CoCo are great. Both visits I made my appointment the same day and received great service. I love that the music they play is relaxing showing that they respect their clients relaxation time. Prices are affordable for the services. I first had tips done here with SNS Pink and white nails. This was my first time getting tips. They explained the process and CoCo was my technician. I really like how the nails were shaped and filed to look natural. I received so many compliments on how beautiful they look. Recently I had a regular pedicure done and I'm very happy with it. The pedicure chairs are very fancy and the most comfortable I've ever sat in !!!!! They offer a full menu of different pedicures to choose from. This was my second time at this shop. I got a regular mani pedi and decided to go back to get a full set. The entire staff is very nice and is welcoming... I love the color; they did the exact vision I had! I'm so surprised and shocked right now... My nails look like already need a refill, and I had them done yesterday... It's been a.24 full hours... The owner refused to correct the changes and advised me that my nails have grown in since Monday! And that is normal, ridiculous! She stated that she was not going to remove the nail polish and puy it back. RIDICULOUS AND I WILL NOT RETURN! read more

I went there to get a gel manicure at 4:46 PM. I felt rushed; they didn't clean my nails properly, and the lady working on me didn't even apply the hand lotion or oil correctly. The place was dirty and so was the equipment that they were using. Everything was full of dust! I waste my time and my money. read more

What a hidden gem. The outside. Not so nice. Regardless that it's in the parking lot they had something on the windows that you cant see in so its looks sortive abandoned.. weird. I didnt even know it was a nail salon. But inside it was surprisingly clean, tranquil, and spacious. The gentlemen who did my nails was so helpful. I was removing fake nails which cause a slight fungal infection and he cleaned it up as much as he could, trained me on how to maintain a clean nail and did a fabulous manicure. That I messed up twice!!!!!clearly annoyed by the second one but never complained or anything. Such a trooper! Definitely going back read more

I never leave reviews but others need to know to save their money and go somewhere else. Do NOT go here, unless you want a gel manicure that chips after 2 days with no credit or refund. Was told "we expect for people to come back to get their nails fixed, we don't do refunds." 1) I live out of town and can't go back to get redone there, even if I wanted to 2) why is that their baseline expectation? They clearly know their products are low quality. 0/10 recommend read more

Okay so I really was excited to go here as I saw they had good reviews. Well my expectations were very very wrong. 1. After my nails were painted she got polish all in between my skin and toes. I had to remove it. 2. I asked for a SNS manicure. Well before you start the powder you usually get a "manicure" you know clean the nails and cut cuticles. Well she did none of that. Just went straight to powder. All of my nails were different lengths and I kept telling her that and she did nothing about it. So I had to file my own nails while sitting in the chair. I also asked for square nails- I got round. Also sns should make your nails strong. I can bend my nails. I can literally bend them. She left all my nails dirty with black powder all over the sides. No cream after the nails were done. No nothing. Just a horrible experience. P.S- it has been 4 hours since I have gotten my nails done. My pointer finger has already broken. read more

I normally don't come out to long island to get my nails done. But, maybe i should. The salon was huge, clean, and quiet. They did an okay job. I've had my gel manicure and regular pedicure for about 2 weeks now. The gel mani lasted, and still looks good. I definitely need a new pedicure tho. Lol. It's about the same price as my neighborhood. Maybe a tad bit higher, so it didn't cost much more. The service was better by far, so I'll pay a bit more for better service. Not mad at it. read more

I've been coming here for almost a year. When I do my Dad and sister come with me. I spend a good $100 plus here every two weeks. They had gotten our appointment wrong for the second time. The guy that works there, I think Kevin, he was very short and rude to us. Didn't offer to accommodate us for THEIR mistake. They tried to say we had a Thursday appointment but we booked for Friday, closer to Halloween. The funny part is, both times we "missed" our appointment we've never received a phone call ever. For the past three times I've been here I've had to wait a good 20 minutes plus even with an appointment. They never apologize when they've made us wait a long time. I guess it's been time to find a new nail salon but this was it for us. Their work is good but they don't care about their customers at all. read more

I love this nail salon. I have been going her for the last 2 years when I moved back into the area and I'm so happy I found them. Clean and conveniently located with plenty of parking. Lots of variety as far as gel polish brands and types. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Annie is my go to girl for my gel mani/pedi, She always does an amazing job. I came here to get a pedicure and it was quality service. I made an appointment and they made me clean my hands before selecting a color and also wiped down the chairs I sat in with alcohol. Annie was attentive and was courteous enough to make sure I liked the color I chose and stopped to ask me questions such as if the water temperature was okay. Overall, I would come back here and get my pedicure done by her again. read more

I always ask for Annie . She's so nice . Super detail and takes her times doing your nails to look perfect . But I have never gotten a bad service from anyone there . They all are very friendly and know what they are doing . They never rush you off like other places once they see a new customer comes in. This is gonna be my go to place. read more

Came here from the great reviews I read on Google and Yelp! I love coming here. I've been here three times and I always get my nails done by the woman that usually answers the phone. I don't know her name, but I love her so much. She always gets the shape that I ask her exactly right and asks me if I like the shape/color before we finish the whole set. Last time I got a really light pink and she asked me if I preferred three coats, which I did, which I really appreciated. Most nail techs skip over that and leave my nails streaky-looking. But not this place! Acrylic refills with UV gel polish cost me $30 and it always looks absolutely perfect. This is my new favorite place to get my nails done. :) read more

I love coming here and getting my nails done by Carol , it is never a disappointment with her ! She takes her time and always makes sure the edges of my nails aren't sharp for me which is great since I always seem to scratch myself someway somehow. I got an SNS Manicure with Ombré Sparkles. I've gotten a lot of compliments. I liked it very much. They did a good job and stayed open late to finish. It's lasted great for over a week so far and it feels like it should continue to last. Photo is taken after over a week and I'm very rough on my hands and nails. SNS was $35 plus $3 because I broke a nail and needed to add one tip to one finger. Then an additional $10 for the Ombré. That tracks with most local places. It's convenient too being in the Best Market Parking Lot. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS SALON!!! THEY SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY! They UPCHARGE LIKE CRAZY. They charge $10 extra if you want to keep your acrylics any length but super short. They charge $10 EXTRA for nail polish with glitter and or if you want gel instead of regular nail polish. Their fees are ridiculous. They charge $10 EXTRA to shape the nails into any shape but square or round. They charge extra to take off even a little gel polish left on your toes if you want a regular non gel pedicure. The place is clean and mostly empty but that's probably because no one goes because of their sneaky ass prices!!! The worst part is they tell you about all these up charges once the acrylic is already on so you have no choice but to continue or rip them off right there! They are VERY SNEAKY! BEWARE WHEN YOU GO HERE! You will end up with a $70 plain acrylic nail install that is not even all that! read more

Kevin did my full set acrylics and let me tell you, he did an amazing job. I am a very picky person and I didn't like the colors they had out on the display and I asked him to suggest me something nude and I can tell you that he knows his stuff. He gave me the perfect shape and I'm in love with my nails. He takes his time and is really caring. Would definitely recommend! read more

My sister and I came in the spur of the moment. Best decision we've made! My sister had her nails done by Kevin, who was super patient the entire time and my sister is super indecisive when picking colors. He didn't rush her whatsoever and told her to take all the time she needed! I had a spa pedicure done by Carol. She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I've gone to see her three times already and she takes her time. This is by far the most luxurious spa pedicure I've ever gotten and I honestly will prefer to come here than to a spa because of the care and cost! read more

I came here because I saw the huge color collection, and saw the great nail work. They accepted me without an appointment! There was a misunderstanding at first but only because my phone had bad connection. I had to come back an hour later to get a full set, which is fine since I live a few minutes away. The staff was super sweet and friendly! Kevin took his time with my nails and made sure they were how I liked them, constantly checking to make sure they were good. He didn't complain or huff when I told him I like my nails sharp, and that made me really happy! This salon is close to home, clean, beautiful, and the staff is great!! I have been learning Chinese.... I understood enough. The way you and your husband talk about clients is disgusting, especially when it comes to tipping. If you have something to say, say it directly. Otherwise, stay quiet and act like the professional you claim to be. I gave you over a year of business, consistent tips, referrals, and positive reviews. I literally sent people into your salon telling them to "go here." That clearly meant nothing to you. Instead, what I got in return was: * Rushed, sloppy fill-ins * Half-filled nails so I would have to come back sooner and spend more money ((SEE OTHER REVIEWS ITS CLEAR SHE DOES IT WITH OTHERS TOO***)) * Inconsistent shaping that NEVER followed my natural nail... simple request What I asked for was basic: short, square, and follow my natural wide nail. That is beginner-level work. I have a cosmetology background... I know exactly what proper application looks like, and this was not it. Your attitude changed the moment I started giving simple, constructive feedback. Instead of correcting your work, you took it personally and started taking it out on my nails. That is not only unprofessional, it's intentional. Now let's talk about what actually matters; health and safety. You: * Touch your phone constantly and continue working without washing your hands * Do not properly sanitize tools between clients * Reuse materials after coming into contact with skin and blood * Use tools incorrectly, including using an e-file on cuticles That is not just "bad service." That is unsanitary and dangerous. As a direct result of your work, I now have an infection with pus coming out of my nail. Let that sink in. That is not an opinion--that is physical proof of negligence. You also: * Left acrylic in open skin areas * Failed to properly seal and fill the nail * Used contaminated product across clients And the most disturbing part? I watched you use a solution to stop bleeding, dip into the same container, apply it to skin, and then reuse it without cleaning. That is cross-contamination at its worst. You have no idea what one client may have that you are spreading to another. When I called you, I was calm and respectful. I did not ask for a refund, I asked you to fix your work. Your immediate jump to offering money back instead of correcting it confirmed everything: you knew exactly what you did. Then to turn around and blame me? Absolutely not. I have been getting my nails done for 20+ years. I know the difference between normal wear and intentional poor work designed to bring clients back faster. What you do with your fill-ins is a scam, plain and simple. I had this happen 1x 15 years ago... they handled it better than you. You allowed me to walk out looking like this. You allowed damage to happen. And now I'm dealing with the consequences. You did this to the wrong person. To anyone considering this place: Watch how they work. Watch what they touch. Pay attention to cleanliness. And if you don't understand the language, just know--they are talking. I went back and they spent a long time fixing them and tried to argue that the powder didn't last well or had to be thick because my nails were so short. I've gotten powder done of my short nails many times in the past at the salon across the street and the service was quick and there was never an issue. In the end, they did a good job fixing my nails, but it took hours of my time. She drilled too much and had to redo powder entirely on one nail. I think there are better options for a dip powder gel in the area. The lady doing my nails kept trying to make it seem like I needed to get gel-x or a different service because powder gel wouldn't work for my short nails. I wonder if they were really trained well on how to use powder gel and if this is why I had such a weird experience. My nails were literally irritated by the end and after a week, I took these right off.

I'm so disappointed because I spent $38 for nails that didn't even last me one week. I definitely will not be going back to them for SNS and I recommend that you consider elsewhere.
