It's really good to find an authentic Mexican restaurant in Baxter county. Nice atmosphere, nice staff excellent food with homemade hot sauces. I got the combo. It was excellent. My wife got huevos rancheros it was really good. Rice and beans are the real deal. I love shredded stewed chicken in my enchilada. read more

Laura's Mexican Kitchen - Couldn't resist digging in to combo K beef tamale , chicken enchiladas and chile relleno. So good - Mexican Near Me - Yellville, Arkansas

Admittedly, I'm spoiled. We eat at Los Arcos in Jonesboro at least twice a week. I've grown accustomed to their menu and the waitstaff know me by name. But we stopped here on the way home from Branson because every vacay we try a random hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. It's our tradition. And we have found some real gems doing this. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. The service was great. The people were very friendly and accommodating. We got our food fast and it was hot. It just wasn't all that great. I'm not trying to bash them. It wasn't terrible. It just wasn't what I had hoped for. I got the street tacos - chorizo, carne Asada, and carnita. They were all very dry and over cooked. The beans and rice were okay they just lacked some flavor (salt). Like I said, it wasn't terrible. It just wasn't great. read more

VERY authentic Mexican. Dropped in for breakfast and it was delicious. Since there were only a few other customers, service was OK, but our waiter could have been a bit more knowledgeable about ingredients in the dishes we asked about. read more

I had their Big Morning Breakfast and it was very very good! 2 biscuits and gravy, 2 sausage patties, 2 pcs bacon, and hashbrowns for only $10! All of it was cooked perfectly! Service was also amazing. read more

Very surprised eating here. Taco's we're good and sides were good too. I ordered corn soft shell and very impressed. Tv

Food and service isn't bad but not the best. Every time we've eaten here, it's different employees.

Nice little place. Food is okay. Hot and fast. Not a lot of flavor, but the prices are right. Cheese dip is great! read more

Great breakfasts! Each of us ordered something different and they all had plenty of food, looked & tasted great ! I ordered the Denver omelette and it may be the best omelette I've ever had. I did not choose a side which was offered - hashbrowns or tortillas or toast... But here's a photo of just the omelette. Try this place. Note: 2nd day ate there again and my husband got what my son did the day before: breakfast with bacon sausage rice beans eggs and tortillas. He really liked it read more

We went to Laura's in Bull Shoals last Wednesday. The salsa was terrific - it had a little more heat than before which was fine with us. I ordered a beef tostada on a corn tortilla and it was very good. It was plenty for a dinner for me. My husband ordered the two beef enchilada, two beef taco dinner. It was lots of food because it also came with rice and beans. He said it was delicious and almost could not finish it. Although we did not need it, we ordered sopapaillas for dessert. Everything was wonderful. Our server was so sweet and took excellent care of us. Looking forward to going back soon. read more

My wife and I miv d to town from Texas and have spent a lot of time in Mexico. Needless to say we know Mexican food and Tex-Mex. Laura's is one of the best true authentic Mexican food restaurants I've ever been to. The food is outstanding and the family that runs the restaurant is amazing. My wife and I visits the restaurant at-lease once a week. And I saw a review about someone from Texas talking about how thin the queso being thin. There's a huge difference between Tex-mex and Authentic Mexican food. The queso is amazing as well. read more

Excellent food. Excellent service. Just passing through and found this gem. Highly recommend read more

One of the best tacos I have ever had. The enchilada was fantastic. But the best thing about this restaurant is the wonderful service. Each waitress is very attentive and so kind. This is a very good Mexican restaurant. I look forward to coming back soon! read more

It's ok but the place is so small it just gets to crowded and the bathroom is pretty much a thousand degrees in there and the soap is hot but the food is great and I recommend it. read more

I'm not a disappointed eater very often as I love food but this was awful from start to finish the salsa tasted like it was really old or maybe used bad tomatoes ? I ordered the polo loco witch is a go to for me and it came out about 1 minute later 4,000 degrees because maybe it's pre made ? But everything was so over cooked I didn't even eat it my husbands food came out about 30 seconds after mine and it looked like they dropped the plate and handed it to him it was awful all the way around - not to mention the waitress had on so much pattuli or some sort of oil that it was almost unbearable we spent $35 and I ate 3 bites and left fu(k this place all the way around they need to close their doors read more

This is excellent mexican food. Tasty and cooked perfectly. By far the best within a 100 mile radius. Open one in Mountain Home!!!!

If i could give them a zero star rate i would. The food tasted old and not very good. Tasted like the food sat out for too long and my grilled cheese didnt taste well so i highly recommend not going. Havent went back sense. read more

This is damn good food, breakfast is huge and amazing, never had anything bad for breakfast. Dinner is equally as good regardless of what your reading on other reviews. This isn't no Tex Mex, this is authentic and the way it should be. Mexican food isn't meant to be Tex Mex like you get almost everywhere in Texas, this is Deep South Del Rio Texas food. The only thing I don't personally care for are the tacos. But everything else I have had is hands down some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and try it out. It's locally owned and the family and employees are nothing short of good people and great service. read more

Great portions (Huge), authentic well spiced Mexican food. Wish they made Margaritas (only thing missing)

Ate there for the first time yesterday. I almost gave it two stars but ended up with three - one for great service, one for large portions, and one for the good street tacos. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the rest of the meal. The chips came out very much over cooked and dark brown. The salsa was not great. The beans were ok. The rice was dried out and flavorless. But the worst part - the place really was not that clean. read more

Fairly clean, Good food and portions , fair prices and friendly staff.... Recommend giving them a try.

Average Mexican style restaurant. Probably the best you can get in such a small town. Food was okay. Beans bland and runny. Rice bland. Casadias were good and loved rhe white caso dip. Place was a little grungy and needed to be cleaned a little better. Staff was friendly and professional. Food came out very quick. read more

The food was mediocre at best. The staff was friendly and our food was made quickly, but the quality and taste were not what I expected based off the rave reviews. The guacamole & salsa tasted store bought and not at all fresh. We didn't even eat more than a few bites of the guacamole appetizer that we ordered because it tasted so bad. I ordered a shredded beef quesadilla that was only so-so. My husband had a combination plate that he said was also a so-so. My advice is to keep driving. We are used to really good, authentic Mexican food and you will not get anything close to that here. read more

I can't say much about their food since I only had a couple beers and some cheese dip but the people were amazingly accommodating to our small group of 3. None of us were eating but we came to watch America play Mexico in a soccer game. The game didn't start till 9 and they closed at 9. They still allowed us to sit around and drink a few beers and watch the game. They watched from the other room and we had a great friendly rivalry going with them cheering for Mexico and us for the US. It customer service like this that goes way above and beyond that will make me go back next time I visit. read more

Either this place has gone downhill since the last reviews or I they had a bad night. Chips- stale, Salsa tasted like Campbell's tomato soup with a little bit of cilantro added. Sweet tea was so sugary it made my teeth hurt. I ordered the fajitas with shrimp & extra vegetables. The shrimp were big and tasted great! The vegetables tasted like they were from a can and barely warmed. Skip this place, my advice. read more

Very authentic and good. Large portions for reasonable price. Also, located in an old bank building which is way cool. Thumbs up on the huevos rancheros! read more

You could find a slightly more authentic Mexican fare. But this is good, solid, and very reasonable. Both our meals were just fine. Place is unpretentious with the owner working the kitchen with real Mexican music oozing from same. You can't go wrong. read more

Food is okey, price is reasonable. Service is okey. Do you want your change back? Sure! Check you burrito, it might be in there! Seriously! I found a freakin penny in my burrito!! They did replace the meal when we told them about the penny, but the bigger question is how did it get in there in the first place and what's your kitchen look like that a penny could be over looked!! read more

The food was pretty good. The hair in it was a little undercooked, but we still ate it. Pretty friendly staff. A little overbearing but they were alright. Honestly the only place I've ever thought about leaving without paying. read more

My first visit at this location. Great, fast service but the food could use some more spice.

I do not recommend this place. We should have known to not order. Only employees were there, no other customers; didn't smell of mexican food; no mexican music playing. They took our order quickly but didn't check on us after they served the food. The chips were stale and the salsa was horrible. I ordered chicken quesadillas and the grease dripped off of it. The rice...tasted like a bag that you microwave at home and it was hard. I thought my meal was a bit expensive for what I received. My friends meal had no flavor and was not pleased with any of it. The place was not clean. read more

Awesome green chili. Laura always has a smile for you. I've never had a bad meal here.

always have good service here. always get the #14 green pork chili burrito. it's always good!! love the service.

The tea is way too sweet, but that is the only negative thing I can say. Great food and great prices. They have a large menu and lots to offer. When you are a regular customer they will even sometimes throw in a free dessert. Love this place! read more
