Enjoy going here. Try the Steak and Eggs for Breakfast and the Walleye for dinner. Good food, fair prices!

Food was really good! Family atmosphere and priced right as well. Catfish sandwich and the biscuits and gravy were the table favorites!

We stopped in for a quick break and grabbed coffee, hot chocolate, and a pastry. Everything hit the spot and was exactly what you want on a travel stop. One thing I really appreciated is that they have a separate line/cashier for food, which keeps things moving and makes the whole experience feel efficient, even when it's busy. The place itself was clean, the staff was super friendly, and service was quick. Overall, just a really solid stop to recharge before getting back on the road.

We got the pumpkin muffin that had real butter cream stuffing and bran muffin with no sugar. We should have got more of those pumpkin muffins! So good. Drinks, American smoothie () and chai latte (). The chai was a not very latte ish and very sweet. Not a chai I prefer but forgot to ask where it's from. It's good to ask where it's from. You could get an answer like "we are not allowed to tell you." That was recent will review that. In that case drive or run away! This is a cute place, unique and does have a sit down restaurant inside. We didn't do that but the menu is very nice, as what they are known for bread bakery items. The breads are out where you can look and purchase. Everything is fresh and fresh made. Recommend!

One bad visit doesn't automatically make a business bad. That said, this experience was enough for…read moreme to decide not to return. For the past three months, I've been going to Cove Coffee in Mountain Home once a week for online meetings. It became something I really looked forward to--getting out of the house, enjoying good coffee, and having a comfortable place to work. Until today, the staff had been decent and the coffee consistently good. Today was different. I arrived before my 11:00 a.m. meeting, ordered a mocha, and sat down to log into Google Meet. I tried connecting on my laptop, then my iPad, and finally my phone. None of them would connect to the Wi-Fi. As my meeting time approached, I went to the counter and told the manager that the Wi-Fi wasn't working. She said it was and pointed to her register tablet. I asked for the password so I could try again and went back to my seat. At that time, there was only one other person at the counter. After about ten minutes of trying with no luck, I asked another employee for help. She repeated the password and walked away. After nearly thirty minutes of trying--and missing my meeting--I flagged down another employee and explained that I had tried three different devices and still couldn't connect. I asked if someone could please check the Wi-Fi. She relayed the message to the manager, and I overheard the manager say, "That's not important--we'll get to that after this rush." Yes, there were customers at the counter at that moment. But the first two times I asked for help, there was no rush at all. I understand taking care of customers--but I was a customer too, and a regular one. This meeting was important to me, and I felt ignored and brushed off. Because of that, I'll be making the 15-minute drive to Momentum Coffee from now on. Cove Coffee has good coffee and a nice atmosphere. Just don't go there if you're expecting consideration when something goes wrong.

This cozy spot is everything you want in a small-town café--warm, welcoming, and filled with the kind of smells that make you wish biscuits counted as a food group (and here, they just might). Housed in what was once the town's original newspaper office, the café beautifully blends history with hospitality. While you wait for your food, you can browse vintage photos and clippings that tell the story of Calico Rock's past--think of it as breakfast with a side of nostalgia. Now let's talk food--specifically the biscuits and gravy. Mercy. Fluffy, golden biscuits smothered in rich, peppery gravy that's clearly made with love (and maybe a bit of magic). It's the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. The rest of the menu is solid comfort food done right--generous portions, great flavor, and prices that'll make your wallet just as happy as your stomach. Add to that a staff that treats you like family (the kind you actually want to see), and you've got yourself a true small-town treasure. If you're passing through Calico Rock--or heck, even remotely nearby--make sure to stop in. The Printing Press Café isn't just a meal, it's an experience with heart, history, and heavenly gravy.
