First off the service here is top notch. I had coffee in my cup within two minutes of sitting down,…read moreand my cup was never empty until I was ready to leave. The server was extremely friendly throughout the entire meal. There is quite a selection to choose from but it isn't overwhelming. I settled on the Hay Stack because I wanted biscuits and gravy and eggs. I would have preferred something besides sausage, but I didn't ask about a substitution. (Suggestion: Think about making this customizable on the menu with meat and potato options. I would love to have done this with ham and home fries instead of sausage and hash browns.) I also ordered a side of grits. While not an issue for me since I can season my food myself, I did end up adding salt to both dishes and pepper to the grits. The inside of the building is very cozy and the place was full of locals when I arrived. It stayed busy through my time there. There were specials on the menu board as well. Overall, this was a good place with good food and excellent service, and I have no reservations about recommending this business if you are looking for a breakfast nook in Mountain Home.
