The restaurant is nice with great views and the food was decent, but not great. The breakfast was underwhelming and served buffet style...very bland and barely warm. Their top guide is a little arrogant, but knows how to find the trout and will drift fish rather than anchor, which was nice. Would I return? Probably. However, I'd make most of my meals in the cabin and just do a dinner in the restaurant. One thing that's nice is they will cook your catch in the restaurant and prepare to your specifications.

The server was extremely friendly throughout the entire meal. There is quite a selection to choose from but it isn't overwhelming. (Suggestion: Think about making this customizable on the menu with meat and potato options. I would love to have done this with ham and home fries instead of sausage and hash browns.) I also ordered a side of grits. While not an issue for me since I can season my food myself, I did end up adding salt to both dishes and pepper to the grits. The inside of the building is very cozy and the place was full of locals when I arrived. It stayed busy through my time there. There were specials on the menu board as well.
