Its called Laundry Day La now. It's not open 24 hours. They don't have an atm and the one across the street charges you $5 to take $20 out. Machines are up to date and maintained very well. The staff is friendly and attentive of what needs attention. I like how involved they were. They do have a restroom. Hours of operation: they open at 5:30 am and close at 10 pm. Washers washed well, dryers: estimated 3.50+ to wash and up, dryers .25 per 8 minutes. I was excited to see they had the old fashion washers (they used to cost $1.25 now they cost $3.50 per wash) These prices were reflecting for 15 pieces of clothing (whites, blacks/ colored) what i spent washing potions 3 loads = $11.25 (3.75 per wash) drying $5.50 drying total spent $16.75 plus the atm fee ($5) $23.75 was it worth it, absolutely not. I washed estimated 20 pieces of clothing. I do understand times have changed however its not as valuable as things used to be. even if you have few pieces to wash they don't have smaller machines that are more economical. its only convenient if you're in emergency need of something nearby. I had to keep putting the stuff to dry (dryers were not drying as efficiently as a result it makes you keep needing to spend more money). a good dryer takes like 30 minutes average and in this case 45 minutes cost me 1.50 and needed more drying thus keep needing to spend. Some laundry places advertise .25 per 8 minutes (sounds like a deal) until the dryers don't dry properly. On a brighter note at least the laundry detergent was not overpriced ($2) read more

It's like any laundry mat. Although there's many washers and dryers, some did not work and had no out of order sign. It was a bit annoying having to take my clothes in and out of machines that did not work. Still, got 6 loads done all at once which was great. read more

This place is 24 hours which is a good thing. It been around since 1999. This place manages to have someone available unlike the one by the dollar tree on pico. This place tends to fix the machines that goes out of order right away because this place gets busy in the between 9am and 5pm. People tends to use more than 3 machines to wash. read more

She hit it on the nail! I came at 1030pm on a Friday and there are about 4 little boys who can't stay still. All over the place and on the floor. But on a good note. I didn't have to deal with tons of people here. Just a whole bunch of not so great reggae ton music. And an update. 1 boy left and now I have 3 new ones running by me very few seconds. Lol kind of funny how on point she was with her review read more

Go to the laundromat 1/2 mile west on Pico. It might be a little further from your place, but it's well worth it. 1. The dryers don't dry well. Definitely expect to dry your clothes a second time. 2. This place is a filthy. I was folding some clothes on the tables and then I saw a cockroach skitter around. I was so grossed out that I didn't bother folding the rest of my clothes. 3. On some nights, the place gets packed and it is really hard to find working machines or parking. 4. The owner is a complete racist jerk. I saw him yelling at two people for parking in his lot saying it was for customers only (it was 11pm and the lot was pretty much empty) and threatening to have their cars towed... which I kind of understand.... But then a black man walking by told the owner to "chill." That is all he said!! The owner then proceeded to say "Do you want to start a fight? Do you want to start a fight?" And then called the cops on the black man (who clearly didn't want to fight so just left). read more

I get a great value and great service when I come to this laundromat. Lucy assisted me and made sure I had everything I needed. She's super friendly and attentive. The laundromat is clean, which is a major plus and there's parking so life's good! read more

ok. I have a love hate relationship with this laundry mat. Before I discovered this place, I'd do my laundry at my parents. Pros of doing laundry at your parent's house: it's free, you can watch tv, there's no one trying to sell you bootleg dvds or a bag of oranges or neon thongs and flip flops. The bad: It takes ALL DAY because your mom's doing laundry, you have to help her fold the mountain of clothes she has (because no one else will). There's only one set of machines. You end up fighting with your mom or brother or whoever else is in the damn house. So to save time and my sanity, I started going here. Four things make this place good. 1) It's open 24 hours. Yes, sometimes your laundry has to be done at 3 am. 2) It has it's own parking lot. Most laundry mats have like 2 or 3 spaces or rely on street parking. 3) Relatively cheap prices. single loads are a dollar, triple loads 2.25, 5 loads 4.00, 8 loads 6.00, dryers are 12 minutes a quarter. I can do all my laundry plus sheets towels and blankets for about 10 bucks 4) Snacks and food are available. This place has ice cream, korean noodle soups, coffee, water (to fill up your jugs) and a taco stall in it. The only problem with the taco stand is it's not open all the time. When the dude is there to make the tacos, they're pretty tasty. If he's not there, have a cup of mint chocolate chip :D Now the bad. 1) A lot of the machines are broken. This pisses me off so much. The man who owns this place doesn't seem to care that many of his machines don't work. This can be really frustrating when you go during high traffic times, like sunday morning. Once, there was a damn dryer without a freaking door. This also goes for their arcade and vending machines. 2) Too many kids! I swear to Jebus, I will found my own utopia where no one under 12 is allowed in. The weekends, particularly saturday and sunday mornings leave this place crawling with ill behaved children. I've been to the point of screaming watching these little shits, yell and run and jump all over the place. Even when I go at off hours, like 10 pm on a Tuesday, there is always one dirty faced child up way passed her bedtime, eating a bag of doritos. 3) The staff is spotty. From what I can tell, there are 2 women and 2 men that work here. If you can, go when the guys are on duty, especially the guy with the moustache. They keep the place clean, and I constantly see them cleaning machines and mopping. I don't even know what the women do. Whenever they're on duty, there's water all over the floor and filthy towels, dryer sheet tumble weeds. 4) There are vendors up the ass, but only when you don't need them. I have been offered pupusas, pineapple, thong underwear, bootleg dvds and laundry bags over and over again. The only time they're not there is when your laundry bag rips and you need a new one. The vendors don't really pester, but sometimes all you want to do is sit and not be bothered. A sure way to avoid this though, is to go in the evening and not on the weekends. read more

I've been a customer at this laundry location for years. The reason I keep coming back to this one rather than ones closer to my home is because of the reasonable prices. They have different machine size for all your needs. They have the classic single loaders, double, triple, 40 lbs, 60 lbs, and the largest 80 lbs. This place is decently large with many dryers and a couple of folding tables. I will say that this place does get packed at times and it gets really frustrating but overall the prices are reasonable. Also, I will add that the dryers are their money makers because sometimes those machines won't dry enough. Eventually you will add many quarters or even change dryer for your clothes to fully dry but then again this happens at almost every laundry place. read more
