Decided to give them a try after hearing their ad on the radio (and spilling coffee all over my comforter). Initially, things went well. Pick-up time was between 10-12 and they arrived at 11:30. Drop-off was supposed to be the following day between 2-4. At 4:00, nothing arrived, so I called. I was told their delivery was backed up 2 hours. I waited until 6:00...still nothing. I called again, and was told it should have been dropped off, he'd call the driver, then call me back. Waited another hour...no call, no delivery. I called multiple times and no one answered. Finally, at 7:00 I walked outside and saw their van sitting a block away. All of that just to have my queen-size comforter completely wrinkled. Wish I had just dealt with the coffee stain. I do the wash and fold service. I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The first time my sweater went missing. The second time there was a detergent solid stain on my shirt, so I had to throw it away. This was the last straw; two of my favorite gray exercise shirts, gray jacket, and my black dress are missing. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT have them wash your clothes. Clearly they mixed up my shirts w/ someone else's OR they're working there for their own personal closet gain. read more

I used to use this place when it first opened and it was beautiful. Very clean. I saw workers wiping down and cleaning machines. I visited the Moravia rd. location this week and it was horrible.The place and machines were filthy, chairs all torn I was to scared to sit. I only wanted to wash my comforters but decided to wash a few other things as well. I expected it to be clean especially with the Covid19 going on. They are not wiping those machines down. I'm glad I had my own wipes with bleach. I will never go there again. If I could I would give it no stars. read more

Laundry was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago - stull not here. Called twice, they say it's on its way and will be delivered, bit never shows up. Was told that a manager would call me - never got a call. Still don't have my laundry back. read more

Laundry city has got to be the worst no customer service skills at all and the manager of the business so disrespectful this place use to be good now no carts it dirty inside most of the washer and dryer don't work the only thing they are good for is washing peoples clothes for them and that's it no more money from me. read more

I recently had the privilege to check out the new Laundry City on west Frederick across from the new Family Dollar store . If there was ever a nicer laundry I haven't seen it...so here goes my 5 star review...facilities immaculate.. prices a bargin...Service impeccable...dropped off 75 pounds of dirty clothes left detergent fabric softener and instructions...few hours later picked up laundry...Washed...Dried....Folded and ready to put away...everything about this place is professional...Job well done...I will be a regular customer read more

I don't quite understand why these guys are not recognized as one of the best in the area. Their services are really good and inexpensive. It's not easy to get a shop where they offer free delivery to your doorstep. Keep up with the great job guys. read more

This place is unbelievable. It is huge, the largest and cleanest laundromat I have ever seen in my life. There are more than 300 machines there. The staff is friendly and very helpful. To use the machines you have to use a laundry card. There are two machines there that are similar to ATM machines that dispense the Laundry cards and you use cash or debit card/credit card to add value to the laundry card. You than use the laundry card to operate the washing machines and dryers. If you use one washer to wash your clothes, you use one dryer to dry your clothes for free. If you use two washers, you use two dryers for free, so on and on. The size of the washing machines are much larger than the average home machine. And if you need anything larger than use the giant washing machines. You can wash a California king size comforter and small area rugs with no problems. The small washing machines are $5.99 plus and the large machines are $8.99 plus to use. There is an kids play area and adult wait area with a charging station for your electronic devices. There are large screen TVs through out the laundry suspended from the ceiling. read more

I must say that Laundry City is a convenient place to do your laundry but if you don't have an car and depend on their pick up service, be prepared to wait until half your day is gone. The pick up service starts so late in the morning. Unfortunately I do drive and I'm retired so I like to do my laundry early. If their pick up service would start around 9 in the morning I would have given it a 5 star rating. read more

So I went to Laundry City today. I put 40 minutes on the dryer and my clothes are still wet. The employees are refusing to reimburse me or set the dryer again. read more

I'm at laundry city right now on moravia. I usually don't waste my time on reviews but Carol from laundry city the one with the brown hair senageles twist was so rude & unhelpful I had to say something. Instead of helping customers she engaged in conversation with her friends who were there. She removed my stuff from my cart then took it & told me she needed it. Mrs. Carol is a elderly women so I'm sure she knows this behavior is unacceptable. She wouldn't want anyone to treat her like that. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar! read more

no Manger is ever available at this place. if you even call no manger is still not availabl. when asked to speak to a manger none is there. most of the dryers have signs on them and the ones that don't, don't get hot. This store is a mess. sundays are the worst days to wash. No washer and dryer is ever available. read more

Customer service and dry clothes are not part of the price!! WARNING you pay $3.99 for a wash that is to include 30 minutes dryer time..but since it is part of wash price they don't refund you back anything to your card if dryer doesn't work..just know that going in..it's only good deal if you get dry clothes. read more

WORST service ever! I agree with previous review where if you want your order to be ignored, use the website! I put my order on the website and provided my credit card information (first mistake). The website was clunky and difficult to manage (one item kept appearing regardless of my effort to remove it). I asked for a laundry bag to hold my bathroom rugs - total $58.99. I started the process 10/25, received many calls with promises to come get the rugs, but they didn't do it! My clean rugs were finally delivered the week of 11/4! Great customer service. Very clean facility (I didn't freak out when a couple of my items dropped on the floor, lol). Had to put my clothes through multiple cycles of drying to get them completely dry but I guess that isn't unusual. It's better than frying them. They have TV's and a play area for kids. When I have used the pick up and delivery service I found that they were timely on both ends. Drivers are pleasant and are good about contacting you on the phone about arrival and drop off specifics. read more

I must begin with thumbs down!!! After hearing about Laundry City many time over the networks, I decided to open my home to their company, mistake! I call them on a Wednesday morning to pick up rug, I had 6 rugs, two that are very expensive. They came as stated at about 12:00pm promising to return them on Thursday, the next day. No communication was received the next day, that day came and went, Friday morning, I called and was told that someone should have contacted me to advised that the rugs would be allowed to dry 24 hours before returning them. Saturday morning, I again called and was told the same thing, now this is 48 hours, Saturday came and gone, no contact from the business. Sunday, I called got through and was told the rugs would be delivered today. They were delivered and damage to two of the runners. On one followed up to hear my concerns, no one followed up to explain the problem, this is terrible business practice, I will not be returning or referring this sad state of affairs. Just moved to Baltimore and the washer/ dryer hasn't been connected yet. I absolutely cannot stand going outside of my home to do laundry. I read the reviews, viewed the website and noticed they will pick up and drop of laundry. Haven't seen that in a long time. I must say, I decided to go and was I in total awe of the their system. A "laundry card" is used for EVERYthing: From the washers and dryers, to snacks, extra detergent, to the shuttle home; you use your card. This place is innovative and very extremely modern. The machines range from the super machines, which I washed pillows and sheets to the smaller machines for the "one-off's". There are plenty of washers and dryers and extra large and regular baskets to move things around. Big screen tv's, a nice lobby, very clean, helpful associates and great customer service. I was very pleased and will return... at least until my washer and dryer is connected. read more

Horrible customer service!!! Used 5 times to wash and fold they never came the time promiced . The last 2 times had big mix up with clothes, 1st time lost 1shirt 1 skirt, bed sheets including pillow cases. Got some one elses underwear yellowed sweat stained under shirts and other stained clothing. The second time paied $86 .00 and got back a huge bag that Had all my family's under clothing and socks just thrown into bag took me 45 minutes to sort everything and when I was done I had 7 pairs of socks missing their mates and my husband's favorite shirt mixed up with some one elses shirt with huge brown stain on front . All of this has been happening for the last 4 weeks. Spoke with 5 people including Jenny then John who said that he was the general manager. Promised to get back with in 24 hrs. Two days later no call back. Tried to contact him but no one knows when he's going to be in. 4 weeks later and 5 people promising to look into this with no result. First of all, they're falsely advertising that drying is free all the time. It's not. It's free for a limited for fifteen minutes if you use one of their more pricey machines. Second, the women that were working there swept the floor with one of them decorative brooms you put on the wall or something, while I was washing clothes, causing me to inhale all this dust. When I tried to bring it to the woman's attention, she ignored me and said something I couldn't understand because she had an accent. In a laundromat, one should use a Swiffer vac or something because you don't know if your customer has breathing problems. I was not satisfied with this place. I'd give this place a negative star if I could. read more
