Now, I want to start this review off by saying that I have used this service before with no hassles, and if this situation hadn't occurred, I probably would continue to use this service. The reason for this negative review is that I want people to be aware of what could happen. THIS PLACE STOLE/LOST ALL MY CLOTHES! I dropped 29lbs. of my husband, my 3mos. baby, and my clothes off at this cleaners to be washed and folded. I came back to pick them up a day later, only to find out THEY LET SOMEONE ELSE TAKE THEM!!! They do NOT keep your clothes behind the counter, just right in front, so anyone can walk in there and grab a bag (or two) of clothes. When asked to replace these clothes, they could only give ten times the ticket price ($260), which is a fraction of how much those clothes were worth. Our ENTIRE wardrobe for three people (granted, one of them is a baby, but still!) - GONE! I'm devastated and without clothes, especially since we don't have the money for new (or even thrifted ones) ones. If you choose to use their drop-off service, I highly suggest you request them to keep your clothes behind the counter, where no one can get to them. read more

Family Owned Dry Cleaner/Laundromat located in the heart of Charles Village I have only used the dry cleaning and tailoring services, but I have noticed the laundromat area in the back is for the most part clean and well kept. The dry cleaning is what it is. Prices a bit high. Of course, they can't compete against places like Zips dry cleaning. Getting a winter coat cleaned is about $10. The tailor is the owner herself, Michelle. She's for the most part awesome at what she does. She's not in the store very often, so make sure you call beforehand and make sure she's there if you want her to get your dress/suit... etc measured by her before alterations. Very reasonable prices for the tailoring. Overall they get the job done, but service might seem a little off or sometimes rude, perhaps due to the cultural differences. read more

I love this place! Easy location with great restaurants and cheap snacks surrounding it. $1.75 for a wash load. Place is pretty clean, machines pretty reliable, and the people running it and using it aren't creepy. read more

Please take into consideration this review as well as the other reviews regarding the dry cleaning service these people offer before bringing your clothes there. I brought three dresses: a white and back work one, a white graduation one, and a silk summer dress to be dry cleaned. The dresses were returned to me the next day stained and discolored. My white dresses are purple, green, and brown. The silk dress looks like someone cleaned their dusty shoes on it. Upon confronting the lady, she admitted the dresses had been cleaned with another 50 pound of clothing but that the stains were sweat stains. Furious, I had her clean them again hoping she could reverse the damage that had been done. I went to pick up my dresses today and the stains are still there- she ruined $300 of clothing and she is not taking any responsibility for it. As a student, this is especially disappointing because I cannot afford new dresses and these ones can no longer be worn. read more

Tons of machines, easy to use. They have larger load capacity washers and dryers. I dried eight loads of washing laundry in two larger dryers. HUGE. You can get a load going and go get yourself a cup of coffee nearby. Well located, plenty of parking. read more

For $0.80 per pound for full service, I'm not sure why anyone does their own laundry here. Especially because it costs $2.00 to wash one load! They have a lot of machines although a few appeared to be out of order. The women weren't super friendly but I probably wouldn't be either if I were washing and folding someone else's underwear. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation a man was having with a woman about his travels through Ethiopia purchasing cheap prostitutes and drugs from pamphlets made by wealthy pimps/womanizers. Apparently, the more beautiful and fairer skin the woman, the higher the price tag she came with. Well, imagine that! Can't avoid wild conversation here. It at least made me grateful to never need to go to a barbershop. All in all, I walked in and out with no problems, one load of clean laundry, and $3.25 lighter pockets. There are plenty of eateries nearby for meals, snacks, ice cream or coffee while you wait. read more

Kind of small but otherwise had a positive experience. Saw a lot of people drop off their laundry for $0.80 a pound which seems like a better deal than doing the laundry yourself. I believe top-loaded machines were $2.00 each. You theoretically have to pay for parking but apparently they rarely check the meters. read more

Rude, rude, rude, rude! Fair services and great prices but the princess who works the afternoon evening shift needs to be taken down a peg. The people here are very friendly and they do wash and fold for busier folks. The problem I have found is that they use very strong chemicals when they wash clothes for you and have ended up with many shirts destroyed with bleach stains and holes. They also don't speak up and apologize when such a thing happens. Also, I am quite certain that they have lost a good deal of my clothing. On a number of occasions, I have lost an article of clothing just to have it reappear in the NEXT batch of clothes I receive from them and yes, i'm sure the article of clothing wasn't just hidden in my hamper. And as Miranda pointed out, they do leave your laundry out frnt where anyone could grab it if someone is not at the counter watching. I'm going to do my own laundry from now on. read more

As other reviewers have noted, the people who run this cleaners are so consistently rude it's bewildering. They will bark orders to unbutton your clothes when you bring them in as if you were on their payroll and not a paying customer. They ripped the last pair of pants I had cleaned only to put a tag on them insisting they were torn when I brought them. The location and price gets people in the door, but it's not worth it to be insulted and have your clothes ruined in the process. read more

Basic courtesy is a sign that a business values its customers and wants them to come back again and again. This joint apparently does neither. The girl who snatched my ticket from my hands when I came to pick up my wash and fold laundry was apparently pissed off about something, judging by the way she slammed the counter with the bag of clothes, and again with the pen for me to sign the debit card receipt, but whatever it was, it is not right to take it out on an innocent customer. A real Whiskey Tango Foxtrot moment. The help here is always surly, and seems to think they are doing you a huge favor by doing their job, but this is just ridiculous. Don't want repeat customers? I wish I could give this place no stars. I'd been bringing my laundry here for wash and fold for almost a year because the price was good. Multiple times I found other peoples items mixed in with mine, which is especially weird when it's someone's underwear. I told them each time it happened and each time I was told it wasn't possible. Finally I brought a piece in with me and I was told it was probably mine and I just forgot. This was frustrating but I let it go since the price was right. However, today I picked up my laundry and they had lost two articles of my clothing. I paid $12.95 to have them lose $45 worth of my stuff. When I went back to ask to find it or get a refund, they told me they wouldn't give me either. They have written policies in the store but no where does it say anything about them not being responsible for lost wash and fold items. I will never be giving them my business again after the way they handled this and were so rude about telling me that since they couldn't verify that the items I "claimed" they lost were in with my laundry, I was probably trying to scam them. Had they just refunded my $12.95 they may have saved me as a customer, but I won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend their wash and fold to anyone who wants to keep their stuff. read more
