In addition they will Taylor or repair many articles of clothing. Prices are reasonable and the clothing is always cleaned or Taylor/repaired on time. They lost one of my items, the first claimed i only dropped off two items when my ticket clearly stated three. once they agreed i dropped off three items, they proceeded to accuse me of already coming by to pickup the lost item. they are also overpriced. read more

Most inexpensive seamstress in town. I also trust them 100%. They have expertly hemmed and altered many of my dresses. Most importantly, they altered my wedding dress and it's perfect. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I dropped off a pair of black J.Crew tuxedo pants that originally cost me $225 excluding the alterations I had done for my wedding. When I came to pick them up they could not find my pants weirdly enough. I came back two days later and they had found them but the pants had a huge gash in the back that was very shoddily stiched up and a few different holes and stitching. something terrible happened to my pants in this place and they didn't even tell me. I'm not a fan of getting my clothes dry cleaned, but this business is worth supporting. Reasonable prices (will post a picture), and they do good work. One personal touch that really impressed me: I got a winter coat dry cleaned that had weakening thread on the main snaps. Without my request, and without charging me, the people at this cleaners noticed, and sewed them all back on! I was so pleasantly surprised, and will now be going here for all of my dry cleaning. read more

I live in Federal Hill and I drive all the way over here for all of my alterations and dry cleaning needs. I'm very petite (4'10") and have to have every garment altered, and some of these are major alterations. They've done a great job with everything that I have thrown at them. Once, I got a dress back and noticed that the hem of a dress wasn't quite right (slightly shorter in front). They fixed it for free and offered me a discount the next time I came in. But that is the only issue I've had with their alterations (and I have brought in pretty much my entire summer wardrobe). In the past I've had trouble with dry cleaners cracking buttons on men's shirts when they hand press them, but have not had this problem here. I find them to be very reasonably priced and everyone in the shop is extremely friendly. I've tried finding a comparable dry cleaning service or seamstress in my neighborhood, but I have yet to find someone who will do the alterations that they do (as well as they do them) for the same low price. read more

We originally came here because of location. Now that there are other options in the area, we won't be coming. Owners are constantly disorganized. We've had several items "lost" here. We've been given other customers clothing. Today, they lost the suit of the customer in front of us, hadn't cleaned his shirt (asked him to come back in an hour), and lost our complete order, claiming we must have picked it up. They eventually started pulling out random clothes asking which items were ours. read more

Have yet to be upset with service. I have gotten dresses/shirts/wool blanket drycleaned and alterations done on a bridesmaid dress and a suit jacket. Prices are super reasonable: I paid 7$ for a button + button hole to be put on a suit jacket, 18$ for a hem on a bridesmaid dress, $12 for my large wool blanket to be drycleaned. Very happy with the service I have received here. And everything is always ready when I go in and I am given about a 3-4 day time for alterations. read more

used to go here a lot and they were pretty great for dry cleaning as well as for alternations... HOWEVER they have recently gone way downhill. I've taken a few items to them which have been RUINED because of the way they did the drycleaning and the screenprinted shirts running. They also altered a pair of dress pants and the way they put the button in the inside, it was in a spot different than originally and now have to get them fixed AGAIN. I come to Dry Clean Express for all of my cleaning, alterations, and repairs. They've proven to me time and again they can accomplish any challenge I present them thoroughly and on schedule. They've hemmed the trickiest of fabrics on a rush request, and had the dress ready in time for my birthday party 2 days later. I've used Dry Clean Express for over 10 years, mainly to get clothing tailored. I was always so impressed with the quality of the work and how quickly they were able to get it done. On very rare occasions (I think it only happened once) I didn't love the way the piece was tailored, they redid it free of charge no questions asked, and it came out perfectly. Customer service was impeccable and the prices were very fair. We've recently moved and I will no longer be able to use Dry Clean Express and I will absolutely miss them. read more

Everything was fine until they lost a pair of my pants. This was a typical dry cleaner like all of the cleaners I've been to,...nothing spectacular. They lost a pair of my pants. Instead of saying "sorry we lost your pants," they did everything in the world not to take the blame. "Some girl from another place" to "they were supposed to call" was in the litany of excuses. I wouldn't be so pi__ed off if they just accepted the fact they lost the item. I can see this is their MO by the reading of some of the other reviews. I've been a customer of theirs for years. I've been going there since they took over the business. I guess they don't care about long time clients, To top it off, the father of the group asked me my pant size, I said 46 or 48 by 32...he laughed. Hey, I have a 53 inch chest and am 6'5". Good service and I like the family who owns and runs the place. Sometimes if a shirt is not clean ( spots or something) I make them clean it again and no problem. They do considerable altering and are fast. The price is right. read more

The dry cleaning isn't bad. Only had four shirts come back with oil stains. I have also had them not deliver on time--3 times. By day's. I will never return to this place. Someone who spends over $200 monthly shouldn't have to deal with this nonsense. Look else where peeps--there is a place in the Harris Teeter shopping center with better service. read more

I know this place is convenient because of its location, but their shoddy work and refusal to take responsibility for mishaps is inexcusable ! Ex #1) My husband was recently returned a shirt that was very much like the one he dropped off, but NOT the one (the one they gave back was regular fit, his was slim fit). They essentially refused to admit the mistake, look for his real shirt and said he must have two of the same shirt (he does not). Ex #2) Then, I dropped off a dress to be hemmed/taken in with a belt physically ATTACHED to the dress. It was returned with NO BELT, which I realized on the day of the wedding in which I was supposed to wear the dress (as a warning sign, when I went to pick up the dress, it took them about 20 minutes to find it). When I called begging for them to look for the belt, they said they did and it was not there and I must not have left it. I am 100% positive I left the belt attached to the dress. Not only did they lose the belt, they refused to even refund the $30 which I paid for the services in which the belt was lost. These owners are sloppy, have terrible business etiquette and are not worth the money for their mediocre dry-cleaning and terrible tailoring services. read more

This business is absolutely shoddy. Paid to have 3 dresses altered and they were not at all done correctly. The employees (owners?) couldn't care less. The last thing I wanted was to have them try again. Unwilling to work with us so I told them I was going to dispute this charge. The male employee just shrugged it off and said, "Have at it." We did and will never visit this establishment again. I had two shirts altered here recently. They did a fantastic job. This was the first time I have had anything altered so I wasn't aware or pricing. But the fact that old shirts look great now makes it worth it! Very friendly people too. Super convenient in the city. read more

Really poor service. I have this place a few chances but they always screw up. Once I came to pick up my clothes, only to learn that they had NEVER even been sent out -- a woman was scrambling to steam out the wrinkles by hand, so that it looked like they had been cleaned...pitiful. The last 3 times I've dropped things off (bedding, dresses, suits, etc) they've never been ready when I've come to pick them up. Staff isn't apologetic, service is terrible. I don't think this place understands customer service. The man who usually works there is decent enough and they did a fair but not great job on alterations and cleaning. Do not depend on your clothes being done in a timely fashion which is important to me as a professional. The lady who works there is really rude. For my money I expect better when there are so many other options. read more
