Fast, efficient and kind. We were recommended this place by the owners of the AirBnB we were renting, which was a few minutes walk away. They took care of a suit for me with excellent speed and no issues. We will definitely use them again when we are in town. read more

I took a suit to be cleaned and they worked wonders with it. Quick turnaround and decent prices. The staff was very friendly and did a great job. I've never had a cleaner shirt in my LIFE. Looks newer than the day i bought it. Come here if you want clean clothes. read more

Took some suits here that were decimated by cat hair. They were quite helpful and prompt. Dropped off on a Friday, picked up on the next Friday. 2 suits, a tux, pans and sports coat ran me about $70. To me that's not half bad. 4 stars because they didn't offer 48 window, but everything else was spectacular. read more

Recently moved to 575 S. Charles Street! A family owned small business with great service.

Great dry cleaning and alteration services! Family run, women owned neighborhood business.

I don't leave reviews often but I had a great experience and wanted to give them a shout out. I brought them my wrinkled, dirty wedding dress there to have cleaned. They were friendly to me from start to finish and gave me fair warning about losing some beading. I was nervous but appreciated the warning. Anyways it took 3 weeks and when I picked up my dress it looked almost good as new and not missing any beads. I think the price was more than fare and they gave me a first time discount. To top it off the guy carried my dress to my car which was extremely helpful since I had my arms filled with my 2 year old! I guess if I had any suggestions it would have been nice to receive a good quality garment bag since it's a wedding dress. However their price outweighs that and I can go bye a bag myself ! I attached a before and after picture ! I recommend this company ! I attached a before and after picture, left one is before and right is after. read more

I brought in 4 dresses to get dry cleaned and one of them altered. The woman who works there is a miracle worker and was able to repair my dress that had a broken zipper and did an amazing job. I was very pleased with the service and professionalism and friendliness! Plus the prices aren't too bad. 10/10 definitely going back!! read more

Federal Hill Cleaners - This is the zipper on the dress that was completely broken and ripped--and now it looks perfect! - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

After reading through many reviews I decided on Federal Hill Cleaners~ I called yesterday evening to see if I needed an appointment for alterations. She said that I could just drop by whenever, but that mornings were usually easier. Dropped by this morning and was greeted by a couple (Soo and Han .. I think from what my friend told me) behind the counter~ both were very nice! I found out that they knew a fellow classmate! I was surprised that they remembered his name lol The visit was short and sweet. I changed into the dress (with the shoes I am planning to wear), she pinned the bottom very quickly/efficiently, I paid and then I was out! The price was very reasonable too! I felt bad that I brought it pretty last minute, but she said not to worry and I felt more at ease~~~ Will try and update once I pick it up next week! read more

Went here to drop off some button up shirts and a pair of pants and they did a great job! Service was quick and the owners were nice. Very quick turnaround and made sure they worked with me to meet the day that I needed the clothes by. Extremely kind and flexible. read more

Great service and high quality work. They are not cheap but they are one of the best dry cleaners I have ever tried. Very nice people too. Great neighborhood business. read more

I have been coming here for a few months for dry cleaning needs and have been pleased with the service. The price is a little higher than I'd like to pay but in a city where quality isn't necessarily top priority, I will pay a little more to make sure I'm getting quality work. At my first visit I was given a 10% discount so if you stop by make sure you mention it's your first visit. This past week I decided to put a little more faith and trust in the staff at Federal Hill Cleaners and had them alter a bridesmaids dress that I need for the end of the month. I was nervous to say the least since I haven't seen their alteration work but when I went in for the fitting the dress fit like a glove. The staff was there to make sure it fit properly and made sure that the work was complete and the price was better than I expected! I HIGHLY recommend them for dry cleaning and alterations! read more

SUPER friendly!!! I took a bridesmaid dress here to get altered, and they did an awesome job and were really nice people, making it all together a very pleasant experience. I dropped it off about 1.5 months before the wedding, which I suggest because it can take a while, and they finished it within 3 weeks. That being said, I did overhear them talking to a customer who walked in on a Friday with a suit that needed to be tailored by the NEXT DAY (poor planning), and they agreed to have it done in 24 hours. I'm not saying that anyone should do this or expect this, but they did say they could get it done which is great service. The quality of the alterations were great, and price was good. I had to have a decent amount taken in, and in various places (it's a complicated dress) and overall it cost about $67. I think a more simple dress would've only been about $30. read more

Went here to get my jeans hemmed and they did a great job. The lady was super nice and easy to work with to ensure my hem was exactly the length I wanted. The quality of the stitch work was perfect and it was a quick turnaround-- only a couple of days. Price was reasonable and yeah not much else I can say. I will definitely returning for future alterations, dry cleaning, and whatever else comes up. Highly recommend! Oh and they have parking right out front on the street so another plus. read more

After reading different reviews of dry cleaners, I brought my wedding dress here to have it cleaned. They were very nice and professional. Their work was also amazing. They were able to get grass stains out of my silk dress and sewed part of the underskirt back together which I had ripped. They really went above and beyond and were very gentle with my dress. I have since brought clothes for cleaning and alteration and they always do a great job. Prices are also very reasonable. read more

When I moved from Harbor East to Federal Hill 2.years ago, I needed to find a great dry cleaner. I wear suits for work so I have several shirts and slacks to clean every week. They do great work. I have taken the covers to my sofa in and they come back looking great. I have not had a need for any alterations so I cannot comment on that part. Very nice owners with a high attention to customer service and the details. I think they knew my name the 2nd time I walked in. I like that touch. read more

I needed a suit cleaned for an interview on a Monday and they rushed my order to have it ready in time for no extra charge, and when I went back even wished me good luck. Will definitely be taking all my business there in the future. They're awesome! read more

I needed my white coat altered and came here because of good reviews and I only have good things to say!! The family were all so nice and did a great job on the alteration. It was finished on time for my ceremony and I'm very happy with it. The price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend coming here and I will come here for any other needs in the future!! read more

Hemmed and pressed two pairs of my pants before interviews. Looks super sharp. Great work, and good turnaround time. Thanks so much!

Federal HIll Cleaners is definitely my go-to dry cleaners! I work in a professional office environment where the dress code is always business casual, so I'm frequently at the cleaners. My options on my side of town (Pigtown) is ZIPS Dry Cleaners and they have a horrible reputation not just at the surrounding locations, but seemingly everywhere in the Baltimore metro area. I previously had been going to a cleaners close to BWI, but stopped once service started to decline and when I eventually found Federal Hill Cleaners. My first time here, I pulled up to 10 min parking right in front of the store. Niiice. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. I really felt at home here right off the top. I was even given a 10% discount for my first order. They really take pride in each order and it shows once you come back to pick up your stuff. Each article of clothing is cared for and looked over thoroughly before it's wrapped and returned to the customer. The quality and care here definitely shows and I feel great coming to work knowing my attire is on point. Come to Federal Hill Cleaners if you wanna look clean and as I put it, casket sharp! Yeaaaaah! read more

Brought in a suit and 3 jackets. One of the jackets used to be white but had turned into a tannish / brown color due to years of wear with no cleaning. It looked borderline ready to get thrown away. I brought it in to Fed Hill Cleaners and they got it looking new again! It was quite the job for them but they did a fantastic job. Would recommend! read more

Great Service. I went in as a first time customer not knowing the usual turn around is 3 days, but I needed my suit in 36hrs. An hour after I dropped it off I realized I actually needed the item in 12hrs and contacted them again requesting to pick it up uncleaned. To my surprise when I went to pick it up at 5pm the item had been cleaned at no additional cost. I will be coming back for my future dry cleaning needs, keeping in mind the turn around time!! read more

Awesome dry cleaners in the heart of fed hill! I recently moved to the area, and have brought in both a white coat as well as a dress to this cleaners. The owners are very friendly, and seem to care a lot about the final product of their work. The prices are reasonable, and there is a 10 minute parking lane right out front. Highly recommend! read more

According to the headlines, the future is here: "IBM Watson-powered driverless electric bus to launch in Washington DC," Engadget "SpaceX completes its first Space Station resupply," The Verge "Dubai Airshow: jetpack set for sale next year," CNBC "Parents upset after Stanford Shopping Center security robot injures child," ABC Yet for most of us, that 'future' remains alien. It is a distant abstraction, experienced primarily through YouTube videos and TechCrunch articles. As James Gibson observed, "the future is already here; it is just unevenly distributed." Laundry, perhaps, provides the starkest example of technological inequity. Sure, washing machines are ubiquitous. But folding! Ironing! It is all so time-consuming, so manual, so ... depressing. For the privileged there's the $850 Foldimate or the $1,900 LG Steamer. But for the rest of us? Dry cleaning is a relatively inexpensive way to avoid the physical, mental, and emotional trauma often associated with self-serve laundry, and Fed Hill Cleaners provides one of the best experiences in Baltimore. Not only are the prices reasonable and the cleaning service exceptional, but the owners are incredibly friendly. Patrons are greeted by name and with a smile, and almost always obliged when in need of rush service. It's the sort of service reminiscent of a time gone by; a period with a relative dearth of Pokestops, but a wealth of friendly people. read more

Love Fed Hill Cleaners! Literally bring everything here to be tailored. Prices are good and work is excellent. They will pretty much do anything; hemming, taking things it, letting things out... they even tailored my spandex/ shapewear for my wedding. Will be a customer for life! read more

Very good prices and a quick turnaround. Couldn't ask for much more for their service

They wanted to extra more for cleaning/pressing a women's oxford shirt (very generic white button down shirts - no frills). When i told them i wanted it cleaned/pressed no different than a man's oxford shirt they refused and said the shirts were too small for their press (i'm 5'11", so that's BS). Do they charge extra for men's small shirts? i doubt it. I tried this place out because of the good reviews, but i'll stick with my old cleaners who charge based on service, not on whether you are male or female. read more

The owners go above and beyond to give the best service possible. This past weekend was my wedding weekend and they were able to take a 'bride' shirt that was made for me and perm press it and meet my fiancé near our home since I had forgotten to pick it up before the shop closed. They did a beautiful job making alterations on my rehearsal dinner dress at a reasonable cost and Quick turnaround time. I highly recommend using this drycleaners they're the best in town. read more

I brought in a recently purchased suit pants that were perfect but a little too loose on the waistline. I'm so glad I didn't return the pants and got them altered instead. This is the best dry cleaner in Baltimore, hands down. Their alterations are great, their prices are reasonable, and they always do a great job on all our clothes. It's a family-run business, and the owners are wonderful people. In fact, they are usually the only ones to remember my husband and my wedding anniversary! Highly recommended. read more

I have been here twice now. They do a good job with cleaning, the prices are reasonable and are friendly.

These guys are top notch! I've been going to them for a year now and have always been pleased with their service. They are very accommodating of my schedule and the owner has even delivered to my house when I couldn't make it down to the store. Highly recommended for anyone in Fed Hill! read more

i came in for a bridesmaid's dress alteration- they were extremely nice and accommodating! reasonable prices and fairly quick turnaround.

I recently went in a as a first time costumer to get two bridesmaids dresses altered. I have been getting things altered at various locations but went here because it was closer. The pricing here is not fair for the work that needs to be done. I was charged over 150 dollars to get to dresses altered, one had to be taken in and shortened, the other just shortened. They charged me over half of what I what I paid for the dress just to shorten it. While they did give me a 10% discount everything was still overpriced. Needless to say I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

My husband has always been so impressed with their service and quality but I have never dealt with them personally until today. They were able to accommodate a rush order very last minute and were such a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend. Outstanding customer service. Excellent quality. I came here on the recommendation of a friend who has had multiple bridesmaids dresses altered here and I'm extremely happy I listened. When I dropped the dress off they said it would take about three weeks but the wedding was in 2 and they were able to have the dress completed within the time frame. The staff is extremely friendly. They remembered me when I went to pick up the dress even though it was my first visit. They will give you a 10% discount on your first visit. The dress fit PERFECT! I'll definitely be returning here for all future alterations! read more
