Both went in smelling like the thrift store and in good but wrinkled, linty condition. Both came back looking like new and smelling nice, with the loose threads snipped and piling removed. They did warn me that they may not be able to clean the suede panels if it turned out they were made of real suede, which I appreciated. The cost for the full length coat was about $20, and the 3/4 length coat was $17. I also gave them a silk shirt that had ballpoint pen stains on the sleeve. They got out most of it with no damage to the shirt for $5, which I was satisfied with.

My son is tall and extremely slim so having his items tailored/altered is a must. The first initial visit was good however the pants were still baggy. So she had to take them in some more. I picked them up, my son still didn't like them so we went back for another fitting. She said she's never done skinny type pants on a suit before and said some costumers get upset. So she was scared to take them in more. We reassured her it was fine and that it wouldn't be a problem because this is how he likes his pants. Picked them up a third time and they are PERFECT! They emailed me that it was past due. If they would have sent receipt earlier or called. I would have submitted the payment asap. So only one suggestion better communication.

I didn't get a call once they were ready, as I thought I would, so I called in to make sure they were ready for pickup. The jeans fit a lot better than before and even though the back pockets were closer together as a result, they still looked good. The total was $20 which I thought was really reasonable. Armed with some Woolite, I discussed with Jefferson (the owner/manager?) and another customer the options for cleaning. I appreciated that Jefferson even provided suggestions that didn't even involve spending money with him. In any event, decided to use a large washer with good success. Jefferson then helped me with the dryer, suggesting temperatures, and even helped me to fold the long runner and he carried it to my car. Honestly, it's hard to get excited about a laundromat, however, it is easy to get excited about good customer service and this laundry had it to spare. In the even that I have to wash something again that won't fit in my home washer, Patterson Park will be my go to place. Tip: Jefferson said try to avoid the madhouse on the weekends!
