The service was horrible!!! late pick up and late drop off ( next day from scheduled date ) no supervisor available to speak with. When delivered missing blanket. Advised one price charged twice as much . If I could I would rate them - 10 stars!! read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Laundry City! The machines were clean and plenty of staff available. There are machines for snacks and laundry stuff. You have to purchase and use their laundry card. The day I went they offered one free wash cycle and one free drying cycle. The washing machines appear to weigh the amount of clothes in the machine as there are no set prices. This isn't one of the least expensive facilities I've been to but the clothes were clean and the machines dried well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although I haven't tried it, they do offer wash and fold service and there were plenty of orders ready for delivery that day! Thank you, Laundry City for a pleasant experience. read more

I appreciated the work that was done on my laundry. I believe the one that delivered my laundry was very much professional and pleasant. I appreciate professional people and kind people. Ms. Ashley also call to check to see if I was satisfied with the work that was done. I Appreciate her checking to see if I was satisfied. These are the kind of employees a company should be proud of. I sent 12 patio cushions to the Moravia location to be cleaned . I paid $300. After calling them to make them aware that 8 of the pillows didn't look cleaned and another 2 pillows were returned with the foam cushion distorted and folded inside, they offered to rewash all of them and correct the distorted pillows. An entire week passed only for them to be returned in the same condition, including the distorted and misshapen pillows. I again called to speak with a manager or supervisor for another resolution, but to no avail. This is despicable service and unacceptable. TAKE HEED AND DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. read more

This was my first time using a wash and fold delivery service and it was the worst experience. They kept scheduling to pick up my laundry and each time never showed and didn't even give me a call. Such a waste of my time. read more

I live in an apartment building where the washers hardly ever work right, so I've been sending my laundry out recently (wash and fold). I saw a Google ad for Laundry City and it looked like a good deal so I thought I would give it a try. I may not have been paying enough attention to the details, but the service ended up being significantly more expensive than the other services I've tried (Happy Nest and Glyndon Lord Baltimore Cleaners.) (Both of those businesses are great, by the way.) Laundry City was about 6 hours late picking my laundry up and 8 hours late dropping it off. On the drop-off day, I called several times and could not receive any kind of ETA for the driver. When I first called, no one even answered the phone. For hours. They also claimed they would send me text updates, which they certainly did not. I had to cancel plans and it really ruined my whole day. Avoid Laundry City! read more

First time costumer. Over the weekend my washer broke and I was in desperate need to do laundry, but didn't have the time to sit at the laundry mat. I found laundry city and thought I would give them a try. I was under the impression I could ship out Sat and it would return Sunday. Sunday night came and I began to worry that my clothes had not returned. I decided to check out yelp reviews (I know...I know, you should always look at reviews before hand) and began to worry as most reviews were not very positive. I send an email asap and come Monday morning I was on the phone. The person on the phone was very helpful and brought ease to my mind. The website clearly states over 50lbs would be delayed a detail I thought I was avoiding by a few lbs. A few hours later I rec a phone call to address my email in which the person I was speaking with was very polite and again eased my mind. I rec a text from Kenny later that night to inform me of my clothes arrival. Tho the process took longer than I was expecting (my impatience) I am very pleased. Everything was folded nicely and smelled so very clean read more

Let me start by saying this is the worst customer service I've ever received. When I walk to the door I wasn't greeted. I was lost didn't know what to do I ask a employee for help all they said was "use the card" What the hell I just said I'm new here I had to ask a person around me for help. All I want to know is who HIRED THESE PEoPLE!! read more

This laundry place stole my firends phone. she walked yes walked she doesnt have a car at night. she walked up there at night the only time she was able after work. she washed her clothes and at some point put her phone down. after she real it was missing she then calmly and politely asked if anyone in the building had found it. she was originally was told no one had found it. she then got help from a different friend to track her phone. the tracker said it WAS in the building where the employee only section would be. when she walked up there the next time she attempted to ask about her phone and was immediately greeted with aggression. since then the tracker shows it not far from the building and her phone company says it is still being used. so in conclusion these people stole her phone and with held it from her than lied about it. The personnel at fmb lied to me-again MiSS SHELBY; she said she make sure that a Technician would come out that afternoon 11/16/23, no one from fmb showed up to fix the dryer that I posted about yesterday. I had hang up my wet laundry around my apartment. This is such an inconvenient hardship for me. I am 75 years old, and handicap. The difficulty of trying to finding the energy to hang my queen size comforter, on the shower, rod could be a dangerous undertaking. I had to climb onto my wheelchair to hang wet clothes on doors and wherever I could find space. fmb doesn't care about the safety of the "little person" They cater to their big laundry services. They should be reported to The Better Business Bureau read more

We called the night before to confirm pricing for the wash and fold service for the next day. The women quoted us $1.85 per pound for a 2-4 hour turn around. We showed up today and were told that price was for an 8 hour turn around, but they could do a 6 hour turn around for $2 per pound. Seems like they saw us and decided we had the money to pay more. An absolute scam and a rip off. Leaving us rearranging our entire day because of poor communication and blatant lies by their staff. read more

My aunt is elderly and unable to do her own laundry so we got her a Laundry City subscription. They are consistently late picking up and dropping off and they give no notice. My aunt worries all day about her clothes so I call to check on them and the staff are rude. Last month, they decided they needed someone to answer the door in order to drop off when this had never been the case in the past. They have even left her clean clothes out in the rain. I find it hard to believe this is "Maryland's only 5 star laundry service." If that's the case, I would hate to experience a 4 star service. They SUCK. Do yourself a favor and use another. I'm looking for one now. read more

I had 3 large quilts picked up Monday and dropped off Tuesday. I put them on the porch and they dropped them off on the porch. They were very clean, fresh smelling, and folded very nicely. They were supposed to come Monday morning but called 3 times to say they were running late. They came after 10 pm, but they still delivered mid day Tuesday. I will use this service again. read more

Very displeased with this service. I went in to wash clothes , I put 10 dollars in the machine to get a new card. When I went to wash clothes the machine kept saying start not allowed so I went to get help. The lady basically told me it was no money on the card even after I told her I just put 10 dollars on the card. She proceeds to tell me no money was ever on the card showing me the transactions. I tell her to run the cameras back to see that I put a 10 dollar bill in there. She looked at me as though I was lying about 10 dollars which I didn't appreciate. She called her manager and the manager told me the same thing they gave me no solution so I had to call the police. All over 10 dollars smh. It took for the police to come for them to give me my money back. I will never recommend or come back to this place ever ! No stars idk how to take the 1 off read more

I sent a comforter to be cleaned. The next day it came back over an hour late, plus jammed into a plastic garbage bag all wrinkled up. It was so bad that the wrinkles won't come out as if it were placed in the bag damp. It should have come back folded and not shoved every which way into a garbage bag! I will never use them again for anything and you should think twice yourself. read more

They were great! I dropped off my clothes here twice for same day wash and fold. Clothes were clean and folded nicely. Only take cash.

I asked Laudry city pick up 4 quilts they quoted $70; this was fine; on the print out they gave me it said that it will be ready on Friday; on Sunday, I called to find out what happen to my quilts, they told me that I have to pay for rush and they sent me an email, I told them I did not receive any emails; they had my email wrong, so then the girl says if I want my quilts back she is going to send the email and I have to pay $33 dollars since they washed it on Friday???? Think about this; they did not have my email address correctly, when I called to find out 2 days later, I am then informed that I have to pay an extra $33 dollars; they are theives. read more

We tried to use their service but they failed to pick up our comforters. They scheduled a pickup 3 times over a period of 2 days and never showed up. The last pickup was supposed to be between 6pm to 10pm last night. We waited until 10:30 but they did not come, again. Then they left a message on our phone at 12:00am saying that they had been to our house. You have to give them a credit card number when you set up the order. When THEY failed to do the pickup they charged our card the full amount. Bad performance and business practice. Do not use them! read more

All the stuff on the commercials and large signs inside and out side the building are lies the worker told me to my face that's really not how it is. My total was 40 bucks and I live 0.3 miles away. I had a terrible experience today with Laundry City. I had to wait almost 10 days to get my laundry. The driver or delivery man left my bags on the steps and halfway in my screen door. I am done with Laundry City for life. Their pickup and delivery is always an excuse and I waste days waiting for the driver. That seemed to level off when they got a new system BUT they gave me tons of someone else's clothing. Called to return oh we will pick up right away. Never came so I had the bag ready with the other family's clothes with a big sign they do not belong to me. Last order many things are missing from my laundry. Diane Gilman jacket and pants and other really good new pieces of clothing. Magically just disappeared. Called on June 24 and spoke with Shaw. She said they will investigate. Just as I thought no response so I called today. A young woman answered the phone. She had no answers about the Shaw report but kept asking me to repeat what I was missing and sounded like I woke her up from a nap. They do a nice job when they do the laundry so I have overlooked the many problems but as of today they have broken my trust so many times I AM DONE. DONE. read more

Laundry City was a great laundry service for us, until they began to fail. It became a guessing game as to when they would pick up the laundry or bring it back. Complaining did absolutely no good or purpose. The last time we used them was the final straw. The clothes didn't smell like they had been washed. Multiple items were rolled and tossed into the laundry bags. Several items were lost. They would use self adhering stickers on the laundry bags indicating the owner. Someone decided to staple these stickers onto the bags and ruined them. We are using a different laundry service. What a waste of time and money using Laundry City. read more

By all means, use the pick up and drop off service if you want the form you fill out on their web site to be ignored. I indicated that I would not be home and the laundry would be on the porch. I received 3 phone calls on pick up day asking why I wasn't answering the door. I also indicated that I would not be home at drop off and the laundry should be left on the porch. Again, more phone calls. We are knocking on your door, where are you? If I could be at home all day to talk on the phone with Laundry City, I'd do my own laundry. AVOID! read more

This place is awesome. You apply your money onto a card so that when you are actually using the machines no cash is needed because you load it onto your card. They even offer minutes of free drying if you are washing on site. They have several televisions. They have an area for the kids. The also have a quiet are that has a closed door. Bathroom was clean. Laundry area was comfortable. I'm not a fan of going to the laundry mat but, I must say that I do not mind coming here. read more

I used Laundry City for the first time and I have to say I am 100% satisfied. When they advertised that they service Baltimore City and surrounding counties, I put it to the test. I live in Harford County and they arrived on time specified and picked up my 3 down comforters. They called when they were on their way and called again when they were outside of my home. They delivered them the next day, on time indicated and same procedures of making sure someone was home. My comforters were bright white and smelled clean and fresh. The cost to have 3 comforters cleaned, picked and dropped off what just as they advertised. I am totally 100% satisfied and will definitely use them again read more

I have been using the pick-up, wash and fold, delivery service for several months. It is excellent! The pick-up and drop-off are as scheduled. I can only say great things about Laundry City and its excellent service! read more

The first few times I used them they were excellent. Then I started getting my bras back with the clasps ripped out, then it went to I would make a date for pick up and it would fall through and no accommodations would be made when it was their fault. Now I'm the midst of a pandemic they decide to Jack the prices up if you want your clothes in 24 hrs or 48 hrs ranging from $1 to 1.85 a pound depending on when you want your clothes back. Ridiculous!!! read more

This place is pretty convenient. They pick up my clothes wash, dry and fold them. The price is 1$ per pound so that's not bad. The only bad thing is I never can weigh my clothes before they pick them up so I'm never sure of the cost. I had an issue one time but it was resolved. Honestly I can't complain because I need them. Idk why no one thought of this before. The people who answer the phone are professional. Overall I definitely would recommend laundry city. read more

They are the worst ever. I've used this service for wash, dry and fold due to me not having time to do it myself. First of all they have very very bad customer service. My clothing was supposed to be picked up between 10am-12pm yesterday they didn't get here to pick it up until 9pm. They did not call me to inform me that they were going to be late, they did nothing and when I kept calling phone either went to vm or someone hung up. Today 3/7/2020 is supposed to be my drop off day, they were supposed to drop my things off between 10am-12pm again they late as ever. It's now 8:25pm no one has yet to call me. I've called 3-5 times today and spoke with the head quarter out Windsor mills location he couldn't tell me anything just he's sorry these people are horrible as fuck. And it doesn't make any kind of sense at all. They sent me my invoice I paid, the money was taken out of my account now it's basically telling me I didn't pay at all. I hate this place it's always something and they lack in every way possible. read more

This laundromat has become the WORST laundromat I've been to. I started going to this business when the owner haf the 1st laundromat which was located on Bowleys Lane. Smaller but everything worked. Now since moving to a bigger space he has let the property go. Half of the washers and dryers don't work and most of the time you find out after you put all your detergent into the machines. You inform staff there and they look at you like you're crazy and start to speak in their native language. They will off you cheap detergent to replace your detergent you lost in the machines. There are NEVER enough carts for you to use. The place is dirty, very dusty with spider webs all over your head and the machines aren't kept clean. Your close smell after using them. He keep raising the prices of the machines but not replacing or fixing any of the broken items. He needs to be shut down! read more
