There is a walking trail that goes around the entire park as well as picnic tables with shade. We mostly stayed in the playground area which had modern, clean and safe equipment for my kids. The restrooms were typical public restrooms but they were open and usable. There was also an area with cool painted rocks that people have left behind. I believe at the edge of the park there was a dog run/dog park area. Stunning views of the powerful dam and the river.

Many of them were docked right in the beach, resulting in a lot of people ripping through very closely to where people were swimming. I may add, if you go during the summer, you MUST wear sun protection and bring lots of water, the heat is no joke. The water is really cold which is refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff is very friendly and informative, also very helpful!! My tent blew away during a little windy moment and they helped me bring it back while also providing tips to prevent it from happening again. In the past, we had to get there before the park opened to secure a spot and once capacity was met they didn't allow anyone to enter. This was tough since there were a couple times we didn't make it on time and had to go elsewhere. Now, things have changed, which is a lot more convenient. They only allow the people that have reserved online go in from 7am-11:30am. If you DO NOT have reservations, you will NOT be allowed in before 11:30. At 11:30 they will only allow you in if they haven't reached capacity and it's first come first serve. If you did RSVP and make it after 11:30am, you risk losing your spot since general people will be allowed in at that time.

Full hook up pull through spots (RV "B" area) are NOT close to the river. Partial hook up spots that you back into (RV "A" section) are MUCH closer. The staff are very helpful. We decided to change our reserved spot from the B section to the closer to the river A section and we were so glad we did!! Such a great area and place to hang out for the weekend and enjoy the river! The staff here were all helpful and attentive. They made switching our spots super easy. All we had to do was ask. There's a great dog park, children's play park and spacious areas to picnic. The B section seemed as though there were more people there that lived there on a regular basis the a section were more campers/overnighters. We will be back.

The path even leads you to Laughlin Riverwalk. For meditation, contemplation, or just plain leisurely walking, it is really nice. It was terrific after a heavy lunch! There is access to restrooms, shade shelters, incredible natural wildlife and fauna are an incredible template for relaxing as well as getting your cardio moving. Right on the Colorado river gives you an incredible view of not only the glistening ripples of flow, but an incredible experience of changing colors of water and the nearby dam. Contemporary meets ancient. A truly soothing environment.
