However, I can speak to the women's restroom and showers they can be better maintained or remodeled. They didn't look sanitary at all for the babies. They have their swimming the toddlers they have their swimming. Come on Bullhead City community pool you can do better than that. Have a little pride in the clean up and for sure you'll be getting five stars.

Ken Fovargue Park in Bullhead City seems like a really fun spot, especially if you're looking to beat the heat. The park covers over 11 acres and has something for everyone, although it seems geared towards kids. There are two regulation ball fields, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, and easy walking trails if you want to get some steps in. There isn't a ton of shade, though, so be aware. What I love most about this park is that it's geared toward water fun, which is perfect for those scorching Bullhead City summers. The splash pad and municipal pool are always buzzing with families and kids having a great time, and the playgrounds and swing sets keep the little ones entertained. Other handy amenities include a snack bar, public restrooms, and little "ramada" rentals if you want to hang out longer. The park is open daily from 4:30 am to 11:00 pm, so there's plenty of time to enjoy it. Every time I stop by, it feels lively and welcoming. Definitely a great place to spend a few hours with family or friends.

During some early morning walks the groggy m*th heads who slept in the park overnight were waking from their slumber which can always be a tad unnerving. However, is you can avoid the broken glass bottles and trash, there is excellent access to the River- although it's just packed with people. Good commercial and public boat/jet ski launch. The groundscrew was also keeping the grass cut.

The Riverwalk in Laughlin is super convenient for walking between most of the casinos and enjoying…read morethe river views, especially at night. Just know it doesn't connect to Harrah's, so getting there means walking out to the street and up a steep road. It's a nice nighttime stroll, but watch your step--I almost ran into a huge tarantula near the Riverside Casino . You can also hear parakeets in the palm trees by Riverside, and there are some areas where employees take smoke breaks. Overall, a scenic and easy way to get around with a few quirks.

We originally were only going to do one room, but we could not decide between the five of us which one to do and we saw they had a package that had three rooms We did the 3 rooms back to back to back! Had a great time. 3 1/2 hours well worth it. Loved the witty comments on the TV screen. We started to burn out by the third room but they keep us going. Great rooms and great puzzles.

I was searching for a place to shoot some hoops and clear my mind while visiting Laughlin, and I found this great little park. I wanted to survey the situation before getting out (since I was a female traveling alone). I stopped by around 4 pm on a Monday afternoon, and it was buzzing with families at the playground and couples bringing evening picnics to enjoy. There are a lot of picnic tables, but they were getting full by the time I left! There isn't much parking, but it's free. Take the first space you see. Nobody was using the basketball court, so I had it all to myself. It's located by the picnic areas, so I had an audience which gave me performance anxiety, LOL. One big problem with the basketball court is that it's right next to the main entryway road, and I'm a terrible shot so my ball kept rolling out into the road. Traffic isn't bad, but it stunk having to constantly chase it. I guess if you were good at sinking buckets and had some sort of talent for accuracy, this wouldn't be an issue.

It was an easy 1.22 round trip walk from the trailhead (once I figured out I didn't have to walk…read moredead center in the loose sand and moved to the perimeter of the trail). Per the information at the trailhead, we did not touch the petroglyphs and were careful not to climb any rocks/boulders even when the trail was only single foot width. It's a dog friendly outing. The weather was just right for it, too. Laughlin is beautiful and breathtaking here.

Grapevine Canyon was a nice hike with plenty of opportunities for some great pictures. The…read morepetroglyphs are always a sight to see. The ride is off a dirt road we drove out in a truck. The mountains around you are beautiful. The sacred land and the history of the tribes that lived in the Spirit Mountain is something to read about. Don't forget your water for the hike. There is a small dirt parking lot and a restroom. Enjoy the history and the scenery.
