Great park! The tennis courts are nice and clean. Lights won't turn on past 11pm for the tennis courts and basketball courts. No strange people hanging out here like the bullhead city park.

The park has improved since our first visit about 3 summers ago. We come here at least once and we all enjoy it, we get there early morning and leave right before closing. I may add, if you go during the summer, you MUST wear sun protection and bring lots of water, the heat is no joke. The water is really cold which is refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff is very friendly and informative, also very helpful!! My tent blew away during a little windy moment and they helped me bring it back while also providing tips to prevent it from happening again. In the past, we had to get there before the park opened to secure a spot and once capacity was met they didn't allow anyone to enter. This was tough since there were a couple times we didn't make it on time and had to go elsewhere. Now, things have changed, which is a lot more convenient. They only allow the people that have reserved online go in from 7am-11:30am. If you DO NOT have reservations, you will NOT be allowed in before 11:30. At 11:30 they will only allow you in if they haven't reached capacity and it's first come first serve. If you did RSVP and make it after 11:30am, you risk losing your spot since general people will be allowed in at that time.

Ken Fovargue Park in Bullhead City seems like a really fun spot, especially if you're looking to beat the heat. The park covers over 11 acres and has something for everyone, although it seems geared towards kids. There are two regulation ball fields, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, and easy walking trails if you want to get some steps in. There isn't a ton of shade, though, so be aware. What I love most about this park is that it's geared toward water fun, which is perfect for those scorching Bullhead City summers. The splash pad and municipal pool are always buzzing with families and kids having a great time, and the playgrounds and swing sets keep the little ones entertained. Other handy amenities include a snack bar, public restrooms, and little "ramada" rentals if you want to hang out longer. The park is open daily from 4:30 am to 11:00 pm, so there's plenty of time to enjoy it. Every time I stop by, it feels lively and welcoming. Definitely a great place to spend a few hours with family or friends.

The life guards a very nice and patient with the kids. It's a nice get away for the day with family and friend. The restrooms need attending to in the pool area. Maybe multiple times a day with the use they receive. A good steam cleaning and sanitization would help.

Holidays is a $100 per person for the whole weekend. The day pass is not available until after labor day. You have unlimited in and out privledges but the day/weekend pass hours are 7am-7pm. So if not camping you have to leave by 7pm if you purchased a day/weekend pass. If you arrive before the office is open you have to pay with cash by using the drop box. Aside from the price its good place to camp and spend the day. Water was clear each time I visited. Lots of jet skis and boats come through and in the summer it gets busy. There is no blocked off area to swim. You have about 20 feet from shore to swim. After that the jet skis and boats usually take over that area. I had a fun time here. I heard from someone there is a wild burro that comes into the park and possibly skunks. I would also bring several cintronella candles and bug spray. There were flying bugs atbthe campsite we stayed out but we got rid of them.
