Price wise, if you come between May and the end of september you have to pay for the whole weekend at $40 per person if you are camping. Holidays is a $100 per person for the whole weekend. The day pass is not available until after labor day. You have unlimited in and out privledges but the day/weekend pass hours are 7am-7pm. So if not camping you have to leave by 7pm if you purchased a day/weekend pass. If you arrive before the office is open you have to pay with cash by using the drop box. Aside from the price its good place to camp and spend the day. Water was clear each time I visited. Lots of jet skis and boats come through and in the summer it gets busy. There is no blocked off area to swim. You have about 20 feet from shore to swim. After that the jet skis and boats usually take over that area. I had a fun time here. I heard from someone there is a wild burro that comes into the park and possibly skunks. I would also bring several cintronella candles and bug spray. Prices I feel need updates!!! The $10 a day for 4 persons is not available from may-sept. And when it is available for the $10 price single day it's only Mon-Thursday. The only option is to buy the summer weekend, even if only going for day use. The weekend pass I feel is a great deal! However; My family and I made our budget for the $10 day. It was a big surprise when we arrived and were told $20 a person. I asked the booth person why this was and that person directed me inside. I asked the inside employee why this was and was given a number to the park planner. I then asked for a supervisor. The supervisor Tim was very polite and respectful. You may as well call it drunk beach. I left to go to the store and when I came back people had moved into my spot. The campers were drinking all night with loud music and screaming like coyotes. GREED HAS GOT THIS PARK. This place used to be $5 dollars. Per car and $10 on the weekend. And if you wanted to camp out overnight it was $15. Now they charge $40 per person if you want to go to the north beach, where it's nicer. OR $20 per person and they send you to the lower side beach where the buoys are. And the water smells and there is lots of stinky mud in the water.this is not a good place to go. GREED HAS GOT THIS PARK FOR SURE. Headed to Davis Camp for the day. First time we were ever here and we had such a great time . Located off of Hwy 68 and right off the Colorado River. They have rental homes , RV parking and places for you to camp. There are tables and bbq's but you must get here early because the spots fill up fast. It's $15 per person to get in to the camp. Your allowed 2 dogs per family but they must be on a leash and of course you are responsible for your pet. Many people are in the water and you can also go across to Laughlin to enjoy the Casinos. Drove to Davis Camp Park on a Sunday morning and arrived around 9:15am. The drive wasn't bad, it only took an hour and a half to get there from Las Vegas. I also had cell service the whole way which was nice! It cost $15 per person on the weekend, I've heard it used to be only $7 a car, so that wasn't what I was expecting! Good thing they take cards. After we got in, we drove around looking for a canopy where we could set up for the day. The park was packed! Many people looked like they were camping, and I'm not sure if it was more busy or less busy than usual due to the pandemic. After a while we finally found a family who was packing up and leaving so we snagged their spot. The rest of the day we had a blast! The water was clear and cold, but it felt refreshing since the sun was hot. The only thing that concerned me was how many jet skis that were out in the river and how fast they were going. Where I was located there was no blocked off area for swimmers, so the jet skis would get really close to shore right where people were swimming. I even saw one guy get pulled over by water police, so I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence or not. The park has plenty of restrooms that were clean enough for a park, and they also have showers for those who camp overnight. Overall I had a great experience here and will be back! Clean campground. The bathrooms were wonderfully clean. Excellent staff, Tim the superintendent was beyond nice. We were on motorcycles and he helped us fix one of our bikes, directed us to all the bike stores in town and have us a great route to follow to put us back on track. Everyone there was very pleasant and provided us with great local knowledge. A tidbit not related to the campground. Don't but your firewood at home depot. It doesn't burn well and gives off a horrible odor when burning. Go to Sam's club. read more

On the AZ NV border, this park was a gem to visit on a random weekend (Feb 27, 2021) for a quick getaway. Entrance fee is $10 for a day pass from sunrise to sunset. My friend had brought his little girls fishing and I did the same. Quite a view from anyplace at the park as there is plenty to do. Fishing, walking trails, grilling, etc. The water was extremely cold and it was windy, so there was no water sport activity such as jet ski or swimming. We did the usual activities for this type of weather and hunkered down a bit but still skipped rocks, looked for minerals, and enjoyed each other's company. There are RV sites, designated camping areas, water launching (day weekend fees May vary) and vacation homes which you can rent for the week or month. Overall a nice experience for my family and I. We look forward to coming back for a weekend summer visit as we have already reserved a spot. read more

Davis Camp was the highlight of my Laughlin trip. It was our first time visiting and it didnt disappoint! We went for the day just to hangout at the river and it was so hot and filled with fire ants but that didnt stop us from having a good time. They have tent covered tables, parking and restroom. Swimming area is sectioned off so jetskis and boats dont come in, water was shallow, which is good for kids. Will definitely be returning next year. read more

We enjoy it every year. Especially now that they did improvements to the facilities. You cannot go wrong coming here to enjoy it for the day or camping out. Water is refreshing when it is blistering hot and enjoy jet skiing or boating. The camp sites have bbq grills for you to enjoy or bring your own. Each site has plenty of room to park vehicles on each side plus put your tents up. Get there early camp spots 58-62 are good locations from past experiences. We visited here this past Saturday and while it was very busy, we were able to find a spot to camp on the grassy area away from the water. Both the north and south beaches were completely packed even though it was only 9am. We set up camp and had a nice day by the river, we brought our dog and he enjoyed it very much. The only downfall was how extremely packed it was, and also the bathrooms are scary gross! If you have an RV it's not an issue but beware if you are tent camping, those restrooms can get really really dirty. Also beware, this is a huge spot for jet skis, so it can get really loud. I absolutely love coming to Davis Camp! We come every year and it's always been a blast! I do highly recommend coming early to get a good spot for the day. Every time we come to Laughlin we go Friday and Saturday early to secure a spot for a large group and we stay all day. We bring the jet skis and ride on the water. We bring lots of food to bbq. We also bring floaties so you can hang in the water. It easily gets hot as 120 degrees but when you're in the water it feels so refreshing! The water gets really cold because I believe they open the dam every hour or so. The water is fresh from the Colorado river! To get in it's $15 per person for the whole weekend. The water was cold, but the sand was so soft and the place was clean (no trash). It definitely is a perfect spot for families to enjoy the day as well. I have camped here 3 times over the past year. Once in March, once in June, and once in September. Both times were a blast! Our first time was absolutely freezing, but that is a given with the time of year. With the cold came lots of empty campsites and lots of quiet. It was so peaceful. The last two times we went were bookends of the summer and it was packed but it was still so much fun. Even with the crowds for 90% of the time it was super relaxing. A great place to unwind, party and reconnect with family and friends. I love that the campsites allow to to camp pretty much right on the water, which is great to wake up to. Every other campsite offers a BBQ pit, so as along as you arrive early that should be no problem if you need one. If you have your own portable grill those are allowed as well. The bathrooms and showers are close no matter which site you get which is also great. Now the one downside. They do not have someone on site 24 hours. In fact they are gone pretty much during quiet hours, meaning no one is there to enforce them. And both of my summer trips that was a necessity. We needed up with very loud rude, neighbors who wanted to party well into the night, I'm talking 3am 4am type partying. During the first trip, we left voicemails with the rangers and sucked it up and then reported them in the morning. They did come down and speak to them and they behaved the following night but it didnt help us in the moment. During our second trip we weren't so patient. We called the cops which we then learned is the right decision and a common thing. So if you decide to camp out here and end up with rowdy neighbors after all park rangers have left. Save yourself the trouble and call the cops, the sheriff to he exact. read more

I've been coming to Davis camp since I was a kid and it never disappoints! Brand new coverings are super nice, it's always pretty clean and we always have friendly neighbors. Unfortunately, recently when I came on Memorial Day weekend, they charged each of us $50 for a wrist band to get in which was new to me. We just decided to pay because we drove all the way from Las Vegas. Fast forward to July 14th it was a Thursday, we rented a jet ski and the price per rental went up $100. Totaling around $350 for a jet ski that we got at 10am til 5pm which is when you have to return it. Extremely sad that everything price wise has gone up but I guess that's inflation (and California) for you. read more

I haven't been jet skiing in probably over 20 years. Davis Camp Park was the highlight of my Laughlin jet ski trip. Davis Camp Park is a user fee park area owned and operated by the Nevada/Mojave commission (some cool or fancy name close to that). You pay to park, you sometimes pay to get in (we paid $40 a person over the 4th of July weekend), you can use their cabanas, parking area, BBQ areas, camping areas, boat/jet ski drop off areas and enjoy your time at "the river". The Colorado River. I totally enjoyed my time at the river (minus the desert gnats that attacked everything and everyone once the sun set). Davis Camp Park is cool for jet skiers and boat owners. We had two jet skis with us and after dropping them in the water, we were able to anchor the jet skis by our cabana. Make sure you buy water shoes as the Davis Camp shore is very rocky. Bring lots of sunscreen as well. We did a lot of BBQing, jet skiing, drinking, relaxing, and chilling. River life! We didn't stay overnight or camped on Davis Camp Park, but the casinos/hotels were a mile away. My friends always use Davis Camp, if I come back to Laughlin again, I'd use Davis Camp as well. They have a small convenient store on the park where you can buy ice, beer and drinks, small goodies. I recommend you bring your own food and be prepared to BBQ or make sandwiches. read more

Definitely get there early if you want to find a good spot with room to put all your things. They have an RV area and you can also pitch a tent near the water. My boyfriend and I have rented Jet Skis there before as well and that really makes the day too! It's a lot of fun cruising back and forth on the lake during the hot summer days. They do require a big deposit but I believe it was given back same day after he returned the rental. Definitely bring bug spray!!!! Depending on when you go they can get pretty bad for a couple hours. You can buy ice nearby as well which is great when your staying overnight. They do have bathrooms as well but they may be quite a walk or short drive if you take your car. Overall we always had a great experience when we went camping here. The only thing that kind of sucks is people will sometimes set up their tent a little too close to you. It should be common sense but I think some people are just so desperate to find a spot sometimes they'll put up their belongings wherever they can find a spot. ‍ read more

You can stay all day/night for free, no one checks for passes. no rangers are to be found during the week so people have the park all to themselves without paying. I've been coming here for over 20 years and year by year this once beautiful escape from day to day lives was once an oasis. In recent times is has gotten so run down and not taken care of it's embarrassing to invite people to come enjoy the river and the restrooms are nasty and destroyed or not in service. There was once a area where you had running water to wash dishes and pans and even a outside shower those were the golden years. Nothing but more disappointment year after year I love Laughlin and the Colorado river but camp Davis has really let it self go in these past 7 years. I hope this place gets there stuff together to make me want to keep going or else ima have to find somewhere else to go my family and friends alone bring over 70-100 people every year. I have been visiting this location for many years because I am a local. Today I was disgusted and I wonder where all the money goes that they collect for people entering the grounds. It was filled with bottle caps, broken glass, cigarette butts, sandbags with ropes and Bottles attached, broken canopies and trash all up and down the beach. The only thing that was clean was the trash cans. I once reported someone drinking glass bottles on the beach and I was told by the ranger they were privately funded so there wasn't much he could do about it. I have only come to enjoy the day use of the beach and picnic area. It's was $15/ PERSON -that was holiday prices (didn't have to pay for kids). The bathrooms were clean and stocked. I would suggest, during the summer or holidays, to get here early. Spots could be limited. My husband saved our spot at 6am. We didn't get a table/BBQ area, as a women reserved all 4 tables, she said she got there at 4:30am. (That's nuts!) But we still had a great spot by the shore. Which worked out even better. We like to take everything (pop ups/canopies, food, portable bbq, chairs, bug/ant spray, etc...), just like camping. But we just stayed for the day. Davis Camp is a pretty decent place to set up camp and play for a day. Once you've been going for over 10 years, you get the hang of it. Here are some things I've learned that might help some of you out. 1) Drop your deuce in the morning. The restrooms here are extremely filthy and are never stocked. Bonus: bring your own wipes! 2) Containers! If you plan on playing the whole day, pack your stuff into containers. It's so much easier loading it back in after an exhausting day. 3) Water shoes. The shores here are SUPER rocky. 4) Shallow in the AM. If you're riding your jet ski/sea-doo in the morning, be really careful. The water is really shallow. I've witnessed plenty of watercraft hit some gnarly rocks, even out on the deep side. IMPORTANT!: The worst place is by the dam, right where the orange fence is, opposite of the shore. We've had to get our sea-doo repaired a couple of times. 5) Boats. The boats make the best waves to ride on. They're basically little ramps if you time it right; I nearly lost my glasses the other day when I hit a massive one. Speaking of riding, watch out for drunk people/first time renters. There's actually a flow of traffic and a lot of these drunk/new people/drunk new people go against the flow of traffic and it makes it kinda sketchy. Other than that, the water is FREEZING, but it's also really refreshing and relaxing. read more

The ladies in the front window are very nasty.. they were very sarcastic about asking whether we were allowed to leave the trailer for the day while we went out and about, stating that per county laws we weren't allowed to leave the trailer without a vehicle in case there was a fire.. we were very confused.. on top of that we had a problem in the middle of the night with a transient that was camping along the river in a tent banging on our camper in the middle of the night asking us to use our phone..If you need police you have to call the sheriff because county Parks don't deal with the local police. There were lots of transient tent camps along the river next to our trailer. The bathrooms are run down and full of spider webs.. I would not stay here again. read more

Can you say Ghetto!! This campground is seriously disgusting. From the people to just the whole campground period. The water area is packed with people. Ghetto people to top it off. They bring FULL on speakers and you have no choice but to listen to the trashy music they listen to. One family had about 100 people and had a full blown taco stand. They have a serious moth problem that will swarm and make you pack up and leave. The bathrooms are so dirty. People play loud ass music all night and not one Ranger says a thing. And the entertainment is great. You have people fighting at night to where you have to think of where to hid of crap gets real!!! Again..trash city. Never ever would I come here again. I've been a full time RV'er for nearly 5 years, stayed at this RV park for 6 months and this place is one of the worst RV parks I've ever stayed at. After making reservations nearly a year in advance I get my RV space all nicely set up for a 6 month stay and then the park ranger comes along (with lights flashing) a week later and tells me I have to move because they were cutting down part of a tree. As you can imagine, it was a HUGE inconvenience and I never got reimbursed for the inconvenience. This is a state run RV park so the staff working in the office are like a bunch of robots working for a paycheck. Honestly, these people would make really good DMV employees. They absolutely refuse to handle packages from any delivery service and get all grouchy and bent out of shape if it occurs. So here I am paying $650 a month and there's no on site laundry facilities? Really?? Here's a few other things I experienced while I was there: People speeding through the park and the park rangers doing nothing about it. The water to the RV spaces smells like rotten eggs. People allowing the space around their RV's to look like homeless encampments and the park saying nothing about it. Transients (meth heads) walking through the park and eyeballing everyone's things. This place, and the whole experience while staying there was just awful. $650 a month is nearly RV "resort" type prices so I really feel like I got ripped off. Shouldn't that be included with the reservation? That sounded so ridiculous... we been to many campsites .... Never have I heard of this... & it's random cause the family that we're camping behind us weren't charged & they were a Large family. They don't even have Free Wifi.... This is a great place if you like to be around water and camping! Very reasonable $20 per night of camping( this includes launching as well)! $15 per day if you are just launching ! They have restrooms that are clean and showers! Everyone is nice ! Must get there early if you want a table with a canopy( before 8:30am) ! They DO NOT HAVE RESERVATIONS ! Its first come first serve ! It Gets packed Friday-Sunday! Be prepared to bring all your stuff (like tents / extra canopies/ tables / water toys and boats / extra chairs / lighting / water /beer / WATER SHOES / hat!! Tarps for under your tent ! There is also a lot of rocks so a rake would come in handy. They sell ice at the entrance! Temperature here year around is hot ! Its 5Mins away from all the hotels in Laughlin . The water is cold but because the temperature is always so hot the water is very refreshing.
