We did not stay here, but did spend a couple of hours driving around looking for birds and enjoying the river views. This place looks like a great area to spend the night. It was definitely a great place to birdwatch! Roadrunners, hummingbirds, phoebes and much more. Some nice beaches and many restroom facilities. I think the daily fee for entrance was $10.

This place is an excellent educational opportunity for children and adults alike. After reading all the different placards throughout my walk, I learned things I never learned from my years of schooling. I think all children need this type of education.

Headed to Davis Camp for the day. First time we were ever here and we had such a great time . Located off of Hwy 68 and right off the Colorado River. They have rental homes , RV parking and places for you to camp. There are tables and bbq's but you must get here early because the spots fill up fast. It's $15 per person to get in to the camp. Your allowed 2 dogs per family but they must be on a leash and of course you are responsible for your pet. Many people are in the water and you can also go across to Laughlin to enjoy the Casinos. Do much fun to play outside and enjoy the beautiful weather

Drove to Davis Camp Park on a Sunday morning and arrived around 9:15am. The drive wasn't bad, it only took an hour and a half to get there from Las Vegas. I also had cell service the whole way which was nice! It cost $15 per person on the weekend, I've heard it used to be only $7 a car, so that wasn't what I was expecting! Good thing they take cards. After we got in, we drove around looking for a canopy where we could set up for the day. The park was packed! Many people looked like they were camping, and I'm not sure if it was more busy or less busy than usual due to the pandemic. After a while we finally found a family who was packing up and leaving so we snagged their spot. The rest of the day we had a blast! The water was clear and cold, but it felt refreshing since the sun was hot. The only thing that concerned me was how many jet skis that were out in the river and how fast they were going. Where I was located there was no blocked off area for swimmers, so the jet skis would get really close to shore right where people were swimming. I even saw one guy get pulled over by water police, so I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence or not. The park has plenty of restrooms that were clean enough for a park, and they also have showers for those who camp overnight. Overall I had a great experience here and will be back! Hoping it won't be as expensive to get in next time.

On the AZ NV border, this park was a gem to visit on a random weekend (Feb 27, 2021) for a quick getaway. Entrance fee is $10 for a day pass from sunrise to sunset. My friend had brought his little girls fishing and I did the same. Quite a view from anyplace at the park as there is plenty to do. Fishing, walking trails, grilling, etc. The water was extremely cold and it was windy, so there was no water sport activity such as jet ski or swimming. We did the usual activities for this type of weather and hunkered down a bit but still skipped rocks, looked for minerals, and enjoyed each other's company. There are RV sites, designated camping areas, water launching (day weekend fees May vary) and vacation homes which you can rent for the week or month. Overall a nice experience for my family and I. We look forward to coming back for a weekend summer visit as we have already reserved a spot.

Davis Camp was the highlight of my Laughlin trip. It was our first time visiting and it didnt disappoint! We went for the day just to hangout at the river and it was so hot and filled with fire ants but that didnt stop us from having a good time. They have tent covered tables, parking and restroom. Swimming area is sectioned off so jetskis and boats dont come in, water was shallow, which is good for kids. Will definitely be returning next year.

We visited here this past Saturday and while it was very busy, we were able to find a spot to camp on the grassy area away from the water. Both the north and south beaches were completely packed even though it was only 9am. We set up camp and had a nice day by the river, we brought our dog and he enjoyed it very much. The only downfall was how extremely packed it was, and also the bathrooms are scary gross! If you have an RV it's not an issue but beware if you are tent camping, those restrooms can get really really dirty. Also beware, this is a huge spot for jet skis, so it can get really loud. Overall though it was a nice day by the water.

I absolutely love coming to Davis Camp! We come every year and it's always been a blast! I do highly recommend coming early to get a good spot for the day. Every time we come to Laughlin we go Friday and Saturday early to secure a spot for a large group and we stay all day. We bring the jet skis and ride on the water. We bring lots of food to bbq. We also bring floaties so you can hang in the water. It easily gets hot as 120 degrees but when you're in the water it feels so refreshing! The water gets really cold because I believe they open the dam every hour or so. The water is fresh from the Colorado river! To get in it's $15 per person for the whole weekend. Being in the water is so much fun! I highly recommend it for large families!

How early can we get there to secure a spot? I was thinking 6 am.

Often people camp from Monday and tues in order to get a spot .. just be forewarned that "marking your spot" ie.. leaving stuff to save it but not staying in said spot IS NOT ALOUD YOU HAVE TO OCCUPY OR ITS UP FOR GRABS!!

For the summer weekend pass, do we get it when we get there or do we have to get it online?

You can do both. The office there is only open regular business hours so if your planning to get there off hours you can buy your tickets on line and print at home. The site gives you all the instructions you need 😊

JA Henckels knife set (razor sharp), Circulon pots (cooked scrambled eggs perfectly, now I'm going to buy a set), Oneida heavy gauge bakeware, Ptzalgraff dinnerware??? Seriously, like, does a millionaire live there the rest of the year? Even the toaster and coffee maker was the most high end ones I'd ever seen. Electric corkscrew for your wine; even a foil cutter for your wine. WTF!? Awesome! The beds were super comfortable and supportive. The large glassed-in shower, the jet hot tub in the master suite bathroom, double sinks. The pantry and fridge were well stocked, ziplocs, foil, spices, etc. The wrap around corner balcony and outdoor seating was wonderful. You could sit in the sun or move into the shade. We ate breakfast at the table on the balcony. The brand new Samsung LED TV and rocking professional sound system was a treat!!! I didn't even need the Netflix account which was accessible, because they had a huge DVD collection with the newest releases. The decor was very expensive, Tommy Bahama, I think; they must have used a decorator. Beautiful granite throughout, top of the line stove (electric), Accusense dishwasher, Whirlpool fridge, and front-loading stackable washer. Even the trash can in the kitchen cost $200, as I was just shopping for one myself. There are two man-made islands covered in well groomed grass that you can let your dogs run around on that are accessed by two walkways over the lagoon. The water taxi friggin' picks you up right out front! We took it over to our hour deep-tissue massages scheduled at the spa at Harrah's (which were incredible too). The gambling at Harrah's is the best on the river and is the closest casino to this property. There are even a couple of spots with sand that you can walk down onto. The parking is gated and not overcrowded. I was surprised at how quiet this property was. The elevator makes things easy and the stairs are gentle and short. There are places in Bullhead City that you rent Sea Doos for $75-$120 per day. You can tie up at the dock right in front of the property and come in for lunch or switch riders. Dog friendly lodging and there are numerous dog stations throughout the property to get a bag and dispose of your pet's "deposits". This is easily the best property on the river. The views are stunning and the water is so clear and blue. We had just perfect weather to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family. There is even an air bed and sleeping pads, so you could easily sleep more, especially if you have a lot of little ones. Although there were no screaming kids anywhere. Thank you for a magical experience. Forget Hawaii, just drive to Bullhead City and stay in Unit 2C.

Renting a boat online is quick and easy, and they occasionally offer discount codes, which is a nice bonus. The staff is always pleasant, helpful, and genuinely seems to enjoy their work, which makes the whole process even better. We usually rent a patio boat since it comfortably holds up to 10 people. They're easy to drive, great on gas mileage, and the fuel cost has never been unreasonable. (I'd recommend skipping the prepaid fuel option--it usually works out cheaper that way.) Another perk is that dogs are allowed on the patio boats! Just note that medium and large dogs count toward the passenger total, so it's a good idea to double-check when making your reservation. Two things to keep in mind: (1) During the fall season, all boat rentals need to be returned by 3:00 PM. (2) It costs $25 to get into the park. If you're planning on coming 2 or more times within a year, I'd recommend getting the Park Pass for $45. Overall, Katherine's Landing is a reliable and fun spot for boat rentals, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a great day out on the lake!
