This is my favorite place to grab a quick coffee or pastry before heading to the beach! This adorable little shop has some delicious food, just make sure to get here early before the crowds. They have some very cute seats indoors to eat at (if there's space available), or it serves as the perfect pit stop on the way to the beach. My favorite is the iced mocha, but it's hard to go wrong here!

Generally, this could be a 4 star spot, but the service was unreasonably slow. I stopped in with a friend for a coffee and sandwich and it took a good 30 minutes, which seemed like a very long time for a casual café type place. Wait time aside, the menu had tons of fun options and the food itself tasted great. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Definitely a local neighborhood spot. Maybe I'm just spoiled by faster service in Boston, but if you don't mind waiting around, this could be a solid place.

We went before the beach and got smoothies for breakfast and sandwiches to go for lunch. The smoothies were delicious! The sandwich I got (turkey pesto) was just ok in my opinion. My friend liked her sandwich though. The lady who took our order was kind, and there is a public bathroom. The food did take a very long time to come out, but I would definitely go back!

Second time coming here. Went with the same singing beach sandwich that was great. Friendly staff. Layout inside could be a little better but still happy with the experience.

Very happy with this place, everyone was nice. The coffee lattes were relishes and the reboost smoothie was excellent.

This is a delightful breakfast/coffee spot in the heart of town. The prices were reasonable, too! I ordered the ham, egg, and cheese on a plain (locally made) bagel and a large iced black tea. The food was delicious and exactly what I'd wanted. Also, every staff member was super friendly and helpful. If I had to guess I would say it's a family-owned business as they clearly care a lot about customer experience. It was also cute to see lots of customers greeted by name - clearly, the locals like this place too! After eating my sandwich I stayed for a couple of hours to work on my computer. They have great free wifi and a nice big bathroom as well. Before leaving I bought a can of kombucha and a cinnamon chip scone to have at the beach - both were EXCELLENT! I will definitely come back here next time I'm in town.

What I found was an oasis of superb coffee, remarkable food, great service, and a fine dining experience (even for someone just off a motorcycle.) My large Cappuccino was hot, tasty, and seemingly bottomless. Expertly crafted and delivered. My Egg White Green Omelet was unlike any other omelet I have consumed. Loaded with vegetables and just enough cheese, it was warm throughout and (like my coffee) expertly crafted. I noticed a steady stream of customers coming in for drinks and breakfast items. I can see why. My meal was very modestly priced given the quality, quantity, preparation, and service. There was enjoyable music playing, and the dining space (and restroom) is very tastefully decorated and spotless. Their menu is centered around the almighty biscuit - biscuits/scones are one of my favorite ways to inhale carbs but they can run on the too bread-y side of the spectrum. These were fantastic: delicate crumb, beautiful golden color, and sturdy enough to hold in all the sandwich fillings. I went with the classic breakfast egg sandwich (scrambled egg, cheese, and arugula) and added sausage. This was one of those rare situations where the bread vehicle outshined the fillings. The egg, while nice and fluffy (and tasted like real egg instead of the diluted mix I've had elsewhere), could have used some more seasoning and was begging for a healthy dollop of ketchup or hot sauce. The only thing that came through strongly was the salt crystals on the top of the biscuit. Tried a bite of my husband's chicken salad on a cheddar/onion biscuit and had the same reaction - the biscuit overpowered everything else. Not that I'm complaining. The bakery is on a side street off the busier, more touristy Rogers Street. I had this idea too late but next time I'm in Gloucester, I'd take a biscuit sandwich to the beach area along Western Ave. The cafe itself is very, very cute, with little nooks and crannies everywhere for seating and even a comfy looking couch. Bathroom was clean. We found a parking lot one street over in the other direction.

After looking over their drink menu, I knew this coffee joint was a must go to spot. I didn't realize that this shop is in the back of Blackcraft Cult. A very beautiful but very dark store. I did mingle my way through the store to get to the coffee joint. I'm happy I didn't get too side tracked cause a mob of people came after me. After standing in line for a bit, it was finally my turn to head in. The shop is really small and has an 8 person limit inside. I was so excited I finally get to finally check it out. Walking in, I was mesmerized by how stunning this shop is. What caught my eye was the fireplace. Ughhhh, it's stunning! My dream fireplace. It's black, ornate and completely breathtaking. The dried flowers, the picture of the witches, the cute ghosts and the cauldron with more dried flowers had me daydreaming about having this fireplace in my living room. The beautiful chandelier illuminated the room. More dried flowers hung from the ceiling. All of it is just magical It's the most stunning coffee shop I have been to. I finally got my drink ordered. After looking over the menu earlier, I decided to go with the Slasher S'more. A dark chocolate toasted marshmallow latte wit all sorts of goodies on top.... how do you not want to get that? Magic mocha, Spellbound latte, Good Witch latte, whoever came up with these names and concoctions need an award. My drink was everything I had dreamt about. It was so good! It tasted just like a S'more. It was also crafted so delicately with toasted marshmallows, graham crackers and blood splatter. Stopping at this coffee joint was one of the highlights of coming to Salem today. I'm happy I was able to grab a drink, vibe out in the shop and be able to appreciate this stunning venue. I don't know if I'll ever be back but I can officially mark it off my bucket list.

That was pretty much the vibe, although there were fewer seasonal / spooky themed menu items than I would have guessed. There was a strong emphasis on pumpkin and fall drinks offered, which I'm not looking for in July. There is no separate entrance, you have to go through the Blackcraft clothing store. It's fun to look at and has some funky things - I've always wanted to check out the store anyways - but it smelled like moth balls to me which was wild for a clothing store, so I felt like I already had that smell in my nose while I was waiting for coffee and taking the first sips - not ideal. Service was pretty quick and kind of friendly. I got the Midsummer Latte, which was mostly raspberry flavored. It was the perfect level of sweet, but got a little weird tasting as it warmed up a little as I walked around the city in a heat wave, so make sure you drink this one pretty quick for the best effect! The freeze dried raspberry pieces on top were so tart and tangy, they'd catch me off guard every time I got one in my mouth but in a fun way! It made the flavor more authentic. The decor in the coffee shop was very fun, as were their take home coffee bag brew names (ex: Labrewbrew, lol!) It's a small coffee area and seemingly had no air conditioning, I was getting sweaty just standing around for the few short minutes it took to get my drink. I kept thinking the poor baristas must be so uncomfortable. Pricing was on the higher side ($9 and change including a tip for a medium ish sized specialty latte), but for such a touristy area I was (begrudgingly) expecting this. Overall I'd love to try it again, maybe next time getting the featured caramel apple drink that sounded good. Like a lot of places in Salem I experienced, it seems like they're just not super equipped for heat wave temperatures unfortunately.
