Malva Pudin

Came for a tasting at El Cielo but stopped by Latitud 32 for a bite to eat first. The restaurant is gorgeous. I highly recommend stopping by. Got the oysters and clam chowder to start. The oysters were fresh and very clean tasting. Not super briny or anything. Definitely a mouthful though. The clam chowder was amazing. I wish I took a picture of it. I remembered when I was already halfway through. The chowder had minced bits of clams so it was definitely clam forward. Delicious if you like clams. Had a thick consistency which I like from a chowder. For the main dish, got the fish of the day. I unfortunately can't remember the actual fish but it was described to us as very similar tasting to seabass. It definitely was. Just a more meaty version of seabass. Nicely seasoned. It was over a bed if carrots which was also a nice touch. For dessert, got the Malva Pudin. If you like sponge cakes or bread pudding, you'll like this dessert. Has a similar texture. Goes perfectly with the ice cream. Big enough for 2 people. Service was great. Loved our waiter. He was helpful with our wine choices and was attentive to ask for seconds which was greatly appreciated. Would come again.

The pork belly tacos were absolutely delicious and my favorite meal, they were tender with a crispy top, combined by a rich black sauce that melts in your mouth with every bite. The clam chowder had a great balance of flavors--soupy and meaty without an overpowering fishy taste. It wasn't too thick, and the ingredients were perfectly portioned. Really good chowder one of the best ones I've had The ribeye steak, served with veggies and mashed potatoes, was cooked to perfection. The steak was flavorful and on point, the veggies were well done, and the mashed potatoes had a nice garlicky taste, though they leaned a bit on the salty side. Not the best I've had but nonetheless still great Overall, a great meal! And will be back to try more menu options. Waiter was welcoming, offered suggestions and was attentive. Views were amazing! Beautiful restaurant

Enjoyed an amazing dinner at El Cielo's Latitude 32 We've been wanting to try this restaurant. Would come back for the Pibil alone any time! So Smokey and delicious. Came with blue corn tortillas the Huz devoured the tacos he made. My halibut grilled with the perfect seasoning on with baby parsley and baby carrots on. Bed of cream cilantro perfect! The soups were outstanding as well. Selena the house queen cat greeted us very sweet.

Oysters 2 for $12

The service was great but the server was a little rude when we didn't want to upgrade to a more expensive bottle of wine, we chose one that was 600 pesos, and he was trying to convince us to buy the 1,400 pesos red wine. The pork belly was delicious, as well as the ceviche! I would not recommend the lamb, it was pretty basic, it had risotto but I got over the taste after two bites. There wasn't a lot going on in the dish and it was pretty pricey. The squid fettuccini pasta was super bland and over cooked, wouldn't recommend. The oysters were super good and fresh but it was really expensive, 2 oysters for $12. The pork belly main dish was great though! Honestly it wasn't worth the price, especially since we are in Mexico. We ended up paying about $240 for food that was slightly above average. I would give the over all rating a 3.5 out of 5.

Latitud 32 - A Cochinita Pibil Masterpiece Slow-roasted Cochinita Pibil so tender it melts in your mouth, topped with creamy avocado, vibrant pickled onions, and fresh cilantro. Paired with bold salsas and rich black beans, this is Yucatán flavors at their finest! Would Agent Sands approve? 100%.

The veggie review! The location was beautiful when sitting outside. The service was a little slow. The mixology drinks were great. We ordered everything vegetarian on the menu, and the appetizers were yummy. However, the main was just ok and the dessert was disappointing. Side Note: our lamb loving friends really liked their main dishes, so it would be a 4 rating for non vegetarians.

Federico fue un excelente mesero, muy atento y se esforzó para asegurarse de que tuviéramos una experiencia maravillosa. Todo lo que comimos estuvo delicioso. Si vienen, tienen que pedirlo como su mesero. No se arrepentirán!

This restaurant sits inside the El Cielo resort. It's a beautiful half indoor half outdoor restaurant labeled as a Yucatán fusion of food. The waiters are highly knowledgeable in their wine lists and pairings and are very well trained. Our waiter Jonothon helped us choose our wine, a Malbec, to pair with our chicken and steak "maya." The plates were visually pleasing and truly delicious. I got the steak with black salsa (not spicy) medium well, a mix of veggies and mashed potato's. We also ordered a charcuterie board for the 45minute wait for our food (maybe the only downside.) however, our waiter kept us entertained with a brief history of the wine tourism in Ensenada, Mexico. I truly recommend this place as a must stop on your wine tours in Valle de Guadalupe.

Truly surprised by the low ratings. Chalking it up to tough competition and even tougher crowds. No gimmicks and it's not cheap but don't forget that this is a nice restaurant at a 5 star hotel. This isn't meant to be the next gastronomy super star. The food is completely trustworthy when all you want is a good meal after a long drive in. Our 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 3 drinks, and 1 dessert were excellently done. No misses, all hits. Nice restaurant at a nice hotel with excellent food. Adrian was attentive and made great recommendations.

Oh my gosh, this restaurant saved my weekend! We were on a cruise and the excursion took us to El Cielo winery. We were supposed to get on golf carts but my friend and I smelled that delicious with smoke coming from the restaurant And we looked each other in the eye and knew that we were going to ditch the tour. It was one of the better decisions I have ever made. We made our way to Latitude 32 and asked for a wonderful seat on the patio. For a second I thought I was in Napa. Beautiful vistas, acres and acres of vine, beautiful day blue skies and the meal that followed was exceptional! We were so fortunate to get Cesar as our host and waiter. Cesar speaks exceptional English and was able to take us through a six course wine pairing in about an hour and a half of some of the most amazing flavors and really high-quality wines! The photos begin to show how exceptional this meal was. Each course was beautifully plated, exceptional in flavor and quality, and paired with an equally spectacular wine from the Vineyard. I was absolutely blown away. This ain't no Colorado wine. This Meal and wine pairing Could've been in Napa or in the south of France. That quality, that flavor, that much fun! Plus add in Cesar the waiter, you cannot have had a better day. This was truly one of the best meals I've had in five years. Get here!

We only came for a light lunch and ordered some salads. Food was delicious as were the drinks. Our waiter was great, brought a little side item to taste which was delicious. Especially the habanero sauce they brought with bread! Even gave some recommendations on what to do around the resort. Good seating with a great view. Highly recommend, as of now. Will be coming later tonight or tomorrow for dinner.

Cheese sampler was good. Unique place and good for what it was. Super Bougie! The scenery was great though and it was interesting.

We were greeted immediately and offered indoor or outdoor seating. We opted to eat outdoors. A tiny regret as smoking is allowed and people were smoking. But they soon left so not too much of a bother. We started by ordering drinks - they have a full bar. My husband ordered a double tequila & I ordered a Paloma. Not too strong or too weak, just perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the Chamuyo Shrimp U10, and I ordered the Rib Eye Center Cut Steak- medium well. Both came with a side of the criolla salad. The food, ambiance, and service was great. There was also about 30 minutes of live music by a duo performing son jarocho. Not sure if that's the proper phrasing but it was a nice treat. I'm not sure if they are regular performers or they just happened to be there that day. Overall a great dining experience to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

The wines were fantastic, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share their wines and story with us. Our sommelier was especially wonderful and made the tasting feel personal and relaxed rather than rushed or scripted. One of our favorite parts of the visit was the chocolate and wine pairing that my husband and I did together. Every pairing was thoughtfully put together, and it was so much fun discovering how the flavors changed and complemented each other with every sip and bite. The best surprise of the day? Finding out our sommelier was from the 805! As fellow Central Coast locals, it made the experience feel even more special and gave us an instant connection that we definitely weren't expecting to find in the middle of wine country in Baja.

The main issues seem to be: Seating: we made a reservation,…read morebut were placed outside during an exceptionally hot weekend despite requesting indoor seating or an outdoor table under a ceiling fan. Those areas reportedly remained empty. Conflicting information: One server said we could order à la carte, while another later said only the buffet was available. The captain ultimately denied the request. Poor beverage quality: The Americano coffees appeared to be regular drip coffee, and the orange juice seemed watered down. Slow and inattentive service: Sugar and milk took a long time to arrive, and afterward the servers did not check on our table until we requested the bill. Given the lack of service and the misleading or inconsistent information, we felt the experience did not warrant a tip. The problem wasn't just one minor issue--it was a pattern of poor hospitality, inflexibility, and contradictory communication.

You drive down a dirt road then suddenly you hit the entrance to a beautiful wine vineyard. The actual restaurant is rustic and has a beautiful view of the valley. Then we had a clams with a tomato based sauce which had a little kick of spice! Boom! Amazing! Stuffed but eager to try more, we had the cheese fondue (my favorite) followed by spicy and sweet ribs. Our stomachs full, we made room for the rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly and qual with black berry sauce mashed sweet potatoes. Amazing experience with a great staff! We will be back! Amazing quality for a steakhouse…read more We called an hour beforehand for a reservation and luckily they had space. We were seated relatively quickly. We started out with appetizers. The baja fries were sooo good. The steak included was so high quality, it wasn't chewy at all even though it was cut into large pieces. The guacamole was also delicious. The ceviche was tasty, with balanced citrus flavors without being too acidic. The carpaccio was delicious as well. Personally I didn't order drinks, but they had a large variety of liquor and wine available. As for my fillet mignon, wow. It was cooked perfectly at medium rare, and it sliced like butter. I would say the bacon around it was unnecessary, but it didn't take away from the steak. The mashed potatoes and veggies were alright, but the steak really was fantastic. I also tried my friend's prime rib, which had a huge portion, and also was very delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful meal. I will say service felt slow at times, though I'm not sure if it only felt that way because I was hungry. The ambiance at the restaurant is lovely, with dimmed lighting and lots of huge booths. The bathrooms are huge and really aesthetic. For the price, the quality is fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
