A group of 14 of us came to celebrate our December birthdays together. Went out for dinner; then…read morecame to Vista Lounge to dance and for drinks. The ambiance is always great here. They had a DJ I didn't know but he did pretty good. We danced all night and had a great time. Drinks were great. The Cosmopolitan Martine could have been better according to the few that ordered it but all other drinks were great. Bartenders were quick to take our orders considering how packed the place was. I have been here many times in the past 18 years. I loved that now they have a bucket to the left of the bar filled with water bottles. And this is great cause for us dancing all night hydration is important. So that's a plus for them. The only bad thing is that tables were filled with glassware and many broken next to dance floor. A dance floor that was packed so a little bump to the table and it could be a huge accident. Lots of broken glass on the dance floor too. I had to point out to one of the security guard the broken glasses near dance floor tables. They did take care of it fast. I may suggest to the manager to have a person come by with a bag just to pick up the actual garbage too. And maybe a bucket for glassware. Cause the guy that was picking up some was carrying it on his hand so it's hard to carry that many. So come by to have a good time. 100% recommend this place. The place is great for all ages. Music is great as well and they try to mix it up real good unless it's a theme night. Prices for drinks are reasonable considering that it's the casino. And now with no smoking band in the casino I'm happier to visit more often.

The food we ordered was good. My friends got 3 different types of burgers. I got the chicken tenders. Only complaint from me was fries were pretty standard. No seasoning. Looking forward to next visit.

I reviewed the other but I'm going to just roll with it and review this as well. I think I recall stating that it would be 15,000 times better if we could play low stakes black jack in here. They still have a high dollar game, and nobody was playing! I went early mind you me you me and the others, I could've walked down to confirm this notion but alas I did not(so if it has changed and the gaming limit is lower, may you strike potent words upon me in this review for assuming, shame on me!) and instead I just ordered an Absolute martini with three olives shaken vigorously straight up. Mr. Wombi didn't have Absolute so I was pointed in the direction of Tito's. Okay fine. The drink was delivered, empty bar, I am here with my sisters and such forth and whatnot and there are no olives. The pleasant tender de la bar said the olives were abound, so I waited. 6.3 minutes elapsed before a small olive plunged in to my drink, and by that time the mine ice particles that we all yearn for had dissipated and I was stuck sipping a lukewarm Tito's martini and then chewing on the olives. The bill didn't help the situation(I'll leave it there). This place use to be great, and it could still be amazing, unless I just went at the wrong time, but wow what a gem to be. I am still drawn to Wombi Rock Bar atop the mountain of wagering every time I go. But every time I go, there is nobody there and yet the music is blasting like we're in a club. And where are the pretzels! Rock Wombi Miss, you are mean and I will return.

While having drinks, the bartender recommended Summer Shack since it was our first time here and it's a family friendly restaurant. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh seafood dishes, steaks, and burgers. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Food and service were good. My husband and I shared the wedge salad. My friends also ordered oysters and octopus. I had the mussels, my husband and friend had the tenderloin steak tips and my other friend had the fish and chips. For dessert, we had the creme brûlée. The food portions were great. We were pretty much the only ones left at the restaurant. It was the perfect place to have dinner with family and friends visiting. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.

It's actually one of the more expensive restaurants on the Mohegan Sun property. The others are high value, this place takes the cash but the portions oof. I'm sure they will blame tariffs, Iran, Ukraine, Palestine or some political issue for it but the fact is the markup is extreme especially even more so for a dive theme restaurant. Example lobster at fish market is $6-10 per lb in the region, in the summer the price is lower. Yet lobster here starts at nearly $80 and up. That's a lot higher than the standard markup. Got the Fisherman's platter portion size not impressed for the price. Taste completely unseasoned, already a horrible start. The shrimp were way overcooked. The Fish bland, and tough, overcooked as well. The scallops good natural flavor, unseasoned and also overcooked. Truly sad cause if prepared right while a bit overpriced probably the closest thing to a fair price it would have been a home run. Can confirm seasoning does actually improve taste if only the cook/chef knew that. Food is still overcooked but salt and pepper does help it go down. The waitress was great that is a plus and the beer was solid. Overall the casino has better options, looked like a cool place had a line waiting for open but disappointing the food was overcooked and bland. Always willing to give another chance but first impression wasn't good at all. Staff is amazing so that's a plus.
