Came here after work a work break, got the carnitas taco and a beef taco with a side of chips, salsa and queso. My only complaint are the hard tacos become very soft quickly

I got burritos, quesadillas, and taquitos. The burritos were super massive, filled with meat, rice, and refried beans. The jerk chicken was really flavorful in the burrito. Was not a fan of the lettuce and refried beans in the burrito. The quesadilla was also alright, cheesy and served with sour cream and salsa. The taquito were probably the best thing I had there. They were very big, flavorful, and a good crunch. Overall average mexican food. 6.1/10

Sooooooo we ordered a taco 10 pack and they gave us ingredients???? Hello???? Actually who does this if we didn't check the order before we left for where we were going we wouldn't have had plates or anything to make the actual tacos. Not to mention it took like 20 minutes after we had already ordered online ahead of time. Disappointed af I never leave reviews but screw yall.

PHILLY CHEESE TACO! I know what you're thinking... A Philly cheese taco?? Trust me! You're gonna love it. THE REST OF THE MENU Pretty darn good - especially for a Mexican restaurant in a random coastal town in Connecticut! LONG STORY SHORT Just trust me on the Philly cheese taco - get two and enjoy the unique treat!

So when you are out and about along the upper shoreline in Ct before the casinos you will find this little gem on the niantic / east Lyme line. They have a vast variety of food from enchiladas , burritos , wings , and of course tacos Tacos can be had on soft flour / corn hard corn shells. Have all the regulars a few specials that are only served on soft flour tortillas. Chips very tasty as was the salsa the guacamole lacked spice and taste the cheese quessso was delicious forgive the spelling lol . Pork belly taco more like bacon crunchy beef was also lacking spice the quesadilla was delicious the burrito lacked spice as well. Overall a pleasant little place to stop can eat in or outside not far from great neck state park. Is a good attempt but if you want traditional and more flavor go south to new haven the wharf to taco truck row as you will not be disappointed

Was very excited to try this place as I've driven by a few times. Atmosphere is cute but very basic. Service is adequate but zero frills. Sodas were refrigerated but warm. I ordered the chicken, steak and shrimp tacos. Easily the most bland tacos I have ever had. Soggy and no flavor. The salsa was basic, the chicken and steak had zero seasoning and were watery, making the flour shell soggy and frankly inedible. The shrimp taco was ok, but only had 4 small shrimp. I didn't even end up finishing my tacos. The other 2 people in my party were equally unimpressed. Maybe it was just us though, spoiled by the West Coast taco scene.

In Niantic today book shopping and we needed some lunch. I'm not normally a huge taco fan, but this place came highly recommended and all the teens wanted to go. It's a small little place with bright cheerful decorations inside. Quite a bit of outdoor seating with just a few tables inside, seems to be a lot of pick up and go here. We chose to eat inside where it was quiet. Our food was delivered all wrapped up like we were leaving with it, but I guess that's just how it's done here. After unwrapping and adjusting condiments, I took my first bite, not expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this taco was, delicious and I had a different meat in the 2nd taco, also delicious. My son had a beef burrito and he enjoyed it very much. I would definitely come here again for tacos. The others in our party also enjoyed their tacos! Good food all around.

Fried chicken was great, but I'd prefer Taco Bell to their tacos. Without a high expectation, this is ok to try out.

Loved it here. Low key, easy-going place with solid food and good sized portions. A keeper.

My husband ordered the Nachos as an appetizer. He also ordered Burritos La LLorona, my son had tacos Americano and I ordered Plato Norteño. All I can say is that the portion serving of the nachos filled my husband and I up, even my son had some. By the time our dinner came we were already full. Also my husband had the Margarita Grande and he said it was delicious. It was worth the price and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, I'm planning on having another date night there soon.

Chips were very crispy. The chimichanga was stuffed with chicken, rice, bean and smothered over some Cajun queso. The food was solid, but nowhere near mind blowing according to the achievement and recognition on the wall. It also is way higher then other spots and for there price I would expect a lot more flavor and even complimentary chips. Staff and service was fair. Overall the food was fair and given the area there aren't many other Mexican restaurants to provide competition, won't be my first choice to eat within this area but I wouldn't be mad either. Let's go to lunch! On an absolutely gorgeous Saturday in July this summer we decided to go have…read morelunch at Flanders Fish market. This is a restaurant I've been to many times and I used to speak at the local Rotary and always enjoyed their oyster stew! Rich with cream and butter and full of oysters. This oyster stew is worth the trip. In addition, we decided to have an order of whole belly fried clams and fries. Word of caution the fries are not the best. They are thin and crispy, but difficult to since there's much inside of them. The fried clams are perfectly fried - moist and delicious and what every New Englander is proud of when talking about fried clams. My companion had lobster bisque that she reported was absolutely delicious with a wonderful subtle taste of lobster with cream and butter. Oyster stew ($23) fried clams ($57), lobster bisque ($10), Strawberry shortcake ($9) with two sodas - $113.34 I left a $20 tip for our server who was kind and attentive and appreciated her service The fried clams alone were $57. Fried clams are not inexpensive my friends.
