We've been using Pink Plumbing & Sewer for more than six years, across two different homes, and…read morethey continue to exceed our expectations every time. What sets them apart is their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer education. Rather than simply fixing the issue and moving on, they always take the time to explain what they're doing, answer our questions, and provide helpful recommendations for extending the life of our plumbing systems and fixtures. Most recently, Lou and Anthony spent an entire day at our home tackling a long list of plumbing projects. Their work was thorough, efficient, and completed to a very high standard. Despite the large scope of the job, everything was finished in a timely manner, looked great, and functioned perfectly. Just as importantly, they treated our home with respect. Before leaving, they made sure everything was clean and tidy, leaving no trace of the extensive work they had completed throughout the day. It's rare to find a company that consistently delivers this level of service year after year. We highly recommend them and are grateful to have a plumbing team we can trust whenever the need arises.

I'm revising my review from 5 stars down to 3. Later in the day, after the contractor had left, I…read morewas taking my recycle bin out to the street for pickup and saw where some water or other fluid was dumped in the gravel of the landscaping we just had done a few months ago. I don't know what chemicals etc. are in the water that was dumped but the fluid was dumped right next to fairly new plants and left an unsightly hole in the gravel. Further, I don't know what if any harm may be done to the new plants. I have ZERO tolerance for contractors who act disrespectfully towards the property where they're working. The place where the water was dumped was just a couple of feet from the driveway. If the water was dumped in the driveway, it would run down to the curb and follow the slope of the street as drainage and NOT risk any harm being done to our new plants. If we notice any adverse changes to our plants, there will be some follow-on activity with P&L. Just careless. I have to admit that I am skeptical of any company that provides "virtual quotes" without seeing the work site for themselves. But they requested a couple of pictures of old water heater installation to assess the job, provided a quote "sight unseen", and did the work with no extra cost added (always a concern with virtual quotes). They were the cheapest of the 3 bids that I got. No long-winded sales pitch that I should install a $5K tankless unit. The tech provided instructions on the annual flushing process. I'm satisfied. I'm hoping that at last I have a go-to plumber.

Fantastic experience. Anthony came out to help with a hose that was completely stuck on my outdoor…read morehose bib. At first, it looked like the bib might need to be replaced, but instead of jumping straight to the more expensive repair, Anthony kept working at it and managed to get the hose off without replacing anything. He saved me both money and time, which I really appreciated. The service was also incredibly fast--they had someone at my house less than an hour after I called. Anthony was professional, persistent, and clearly more interested in solving the problem than selling me a repair I didn't need. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend Anthony.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Cactus Valley Plumbing that I feel obligated to…read morewarn others about. We originally hired them to install a water heater, and paid for both a drip pan and overflow line--which were never installed, even though they were clearly listed on our invoice and paid in full. After our home required water mitigation, the water heater had to be temporarily removed. When we called yesterday to have it reconnected, we were told there would be no charge--which made sense, considering they didn't complete the job properly the first time. Then today, out of nowhere, they tried to charge us $900 to reconnect it--claiming that because a "third party" removed the water heater, our warranty was void. Funny how that wasn't an issue when the water mitigation company removed it, and they never brought it up before. This feels like nothing more than a bait-and-switch combined with price gouging. It's unacceptable to treat customers this way--especially when the original job wasn't done correctly to begin with. I would never use Cactus Valley Plumbing again and absolutely do not recommend them. Dishonest, overpriced, and completely lacking in accountability.

Donald did a good job at a reasonable price replacing an angle stop valve for the supply line for…read moremy toilet. It was a nightmare situation as a previous contractor broke it and left me abandoned and my main water supply wouldn't turn off so I could literally not sleep for 24 hours as I had to empty a bowl every 30 to 60 minutes (the supply valve is low so it would not accommodate anything larger underneath) or it would flood and ruin the new flooring that was just installed. It did ruin my brand new baseboard that I had just had installed the day before. He kept blaming me saying by turning the giant nut I somehow ruined the pipe which I don't understand but I did everything to try and loosen the bolt under urgent and impossible conditions and stress and I found no special instructions or tool that specified one as a necessity to use on it in all my research or that I had done anything wrong, but it had been there for 30 years and was fused on tight and wouldn't budge even with two vise grips. With the flooding happening I was desperate to get it removed so I thought that his continuous commentary was strange. He also said I had to loosen that nut clockwise as if it were reversely threaded but discovered that was not the case multiple times in my research so again I'm very confused. If something had been critically missed I wish he would've at least told me or made it clear what my alternative was otherwise assigning blame does little good; I am not an experienced plumber. I did not see nor was ever shown how he ultimately removed it so the whole point was moot. He walked off with my channel locks which I informed him of immediately after he left. He said he didn't have it then the next day he said he did but that he couldn't return them until after I left the area for a couple weeks at which point I told him he could drive out to my house. Luckily he changed his mind and returned them that morning as it really isn't my responsibility to retrieve them. I had been thru two days of hell from the previous contractor with 8 hours sleep over three nights. But he did the job and it took him no more than 15 to 20 minutes. There's a really big gash in my wall now where the valve is but I guess he had to do that to cut the pipe. I will have to find a wall cover plate or something to hide it or else patch it up. I then had to call another contractor to check the toilet seating as the flooring installer who left me with the leaking supply valve was supposed to handle it but did not do it right. Ultimately I had to hire three contractors in 36 hours for the same bathroom.
