** BEWARE ** DO NOT LET THIS SHOP TOUCH YOUR CAR!!! DISHONEST SALES & SERVICE PERSONNEL. Brought my 2008 vette in for a O.E.M clutch replacement (if needed). Everything was tight before I let LMR to work on my car! When i picked up my car 2 days later @ 5:00pm quitting time, I was totally disappointed at the quality & workmanship. It was making so much tranny noise i was afraid of it. I drove thinking I better double check the transmission oil level. LMR had already done this according to the $120.00 charge on my bill. It turned out to be 3 1/2 qts low! The transmission could have burned up & I don't know which person to blame. read more

They are bullshit!!! Had them install stage 2 cam package for my Camaro, ended up having a lot of issues with the cam. It was getting chewed up inside my engine didn't find out until I took it to another shop. Engine was taken apart. I brought this information to LMRs attention and they would not help me out in any way. They only blamed comp cams for a bad batch of cams they sent to them. Horrible customer service. When trying to resolve issue they would not return calls or emails. They are shady and do not care about customers cars. Houston has a lot better shops around DO NOT TRUST LMR!!! read more

I can't believe these guys don't have any reviews. It was about 6 months ago, but I blew the transmission out of my Viper and after a misguided attempt at fixing it myself, I took the tranny to them in pieces. Their tranny guy was able to put it back together better than new for a VERY reasonable price. He called me and suggested some upgrades to make it more durable (all good upgrades to make based on some research). They build some sick performance cars there and seem to have a really good reputation in the local performance community. I was really surprised at how reasonable they were on the repair charges based on the high dollar stuff they work on, but they were straight shooters and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. The transmission they fixed for me shifts better than it ever did before with the few hundred dollars in upgrades they put in. I'm a customer for life! read more

Do not take your car there for repair, rebuild, enhancements anything. I had an entire car built by them c6 Z06. Complete Forged Engine, drive line, tune you name it all done by LMR. The car made the power that was expected nothing radical since it was a daily driver. I had the entire driveline built by them 3x. They could never seemed to get it right. I ordered any and all parts they recommended to improve durability just to find out those parts were not necessary or used and I would be stuck with them to either resell or attempt to return while paying the shipping and restocking fee. Recently, I was told by them that their employees sometimes take customer cars home to ensure they are in good working order. Once i found out I immediately told them to never do that and that no one was authorized to drive my car. I took my car in for a broken rear axle in which it took them 1 month to repair. Most shops 2-3 days max, but I never let anyone touch the car except them. I paid everything they ever asked of me just to get the car back in my possession asap $26k total. After countless days of the car just sitting I asked if they could tell me what parts to order because i could get GM parts online with GM warranty for less than they charge which is retail. They agreed that was fine i order all the parts per the part numbers they game me just to find out they were all wrong. Their excuse was "thats why we dont let customers order parts" i got the numbers from them. They will also order parts w/o your consent and bill the customer for them w/o you knowing that parts were needed. They will never call you in a timely manner and update you NEVER! Now I called LMR almost daily to check on my car and each day was they are working on it or its not ready. Finally the day came where my car was ready so I went to pick her up. I jumped in the car and it had NO brakes. Foot to the floor it would not stop. I immediately told them there was a problem so they said bring it back and we will bleed the brakes for you. I had to leave the car there again over night. The next day I went back and demanded my car be ready since it was a simple brake bleed issue it takes an hour to do. They agreed and bled the brakes. The car had brakes for about 5 min and once i was testing them by stopping hard I could hear a loud knock which was confirmed by thier tech that it was abnormal. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I left the car there and thier mechanic looked at it and found out my ABS module was broken and rubbing up against a belt and causing the fluid to leak hence why no peddle pressure. Thinking to myself I asked "how could this be?" I left the car for a bad rear axle and get it back with a bad ABS module and noises in the torque tube area that was just recently rebuilt by them and was bulletproof. Well once i started to think about all of the new issues I was encountering I realized that one of their employees ROB was most likely joy riding my car when they told me it was not ready and had put upwards of 200+ miles test driving it. Finally it clicked and I confronted the shop manager Jay H. as to why do I have all of these new issues when I came in here with just a borken axle. They could not explain they promised no one had been dogging out my car nothing. I asked why did I leave my car with Half a tank and get it back with less than a quarter? No explanation....and it supposedly sat for one month. LMR advised me that i needed new motor mounts and they would fix it along with the ABS lines once and for all. I bought new motor mounts that were unnecessary after inspecting them myself. The ABS lines were repaired and I owed them $500 for that labor. On the final day of my car being at LMR it was supposed to be ready feb 14th, 2014. I get an invoice from Harris County Toll Road authority that on Feb3, 2014 when my car was supposedly not ready, ROB blew threw 4 eztag lanes in 7 minutes. Thats Flying on the beltway. 2x from 290 to i-10 and 2x back all in 7 minutes exactly. I was furious, I went to get my car confronted ROB and he paid me $100 for blowing through the tolls that he originally denied saying he went straight home. Rob lives up north and these tolls where ran heading south at 9pm at night. I mentioned to him "ROB you are the reason my ABS module is broken I had no brakes, why my car is rattling like never before" and he said no i didn pound on your car. Yet the Toll road authority says he went up and down the beltway in 7 min running eztags at a high rate of speed to clear 4 in that amount of time is unreal. i demanded my car back on a tow truck or for me to limp it home and i owed LMR $500 for work that they caused but I wasnt going to pay, but then realized they abuse the cars and break them and the customer has to pay. Rob released my car to me finding him guilty of running tolls and breaking my vehicle when they said it wasnt ready. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your baby read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Had my 95 viper taken to them because of a blown motor. Ordered a used motor and tranny. Was told they could install both for 2200 to 2800. Long story short I go to pick up my car the bill is almost 5000, and the excuse is we had to switch parts over for one motor to the other. Never saw any part's taken off or laying anywhere except the old motor and trans. Pay for my car go to get in it and the door won't open. While in their possession they broke my door internals, kid that was there said it worked fine in the morning to get in but he heard a pop when he tried to get out and had to crawl out the passenger side. This is when Steven and Scott told me the car is a 95 it's old and was gonna break anyway. This is when I got upset, finally we agreed I would take the car to a shop where I live and they would pay to have it fixed. Finally crawl in my car go to leave and can't get it in reverse. Remember the new parts? They said they needed for the trans? Long story they called a trans shop to pick up my car at my expense, then left my car with the windows open sitting in the rain until the other shop closed them. 3 months later car still at shop waiting for lmr to fix door and pay for it. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLE! I wouldn't let them oil the chain on my son's tricycle. read more
