Was told this place was super good so my expectations were high. Like other reviews mention, for breakfast, get here early otherwise you're going be on a waiting list...we had to wait. When we were finally seated, they put us at a table that had a couple who were just seated. I went for the Meat Lovers omelette. I was expecting an explosion of flavor, but got nothing out of the ordinary. Now it wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out either...flavor-wise. Maybe I just picked the average meal off the menu. Instead of a breakfast juice, I got a Coke (sorry Pepsi fans). Prices were a little high, but not too high. Small dinning are and a small parking lot. No objections to eating here again. read more

As guests staying at the Hilton Garden Inn nearby, we were excited to check out this local spot and it did not disappoint. When we arrived on a Friday morning, the place was packed with guests whose plates were filled with breakfast delights. After a short wait, we were seated. My mom was delighted to find that they had rhubarb pie and immediately ordered that in lieu of a traditional breakfast. I recommend the Breakfast Scrambler with bacon, gravy on the side. The strawberry jam on the table looked to be homemade and tasted delicious on our toast. We'd certainly be back! Cheers! read more

Wonderful customer service!! I ordered a cake a week ago and was on my way to pick it up when I decided to call in a BLT to go, I was only 2 minutes away. When I arrived my cake and BLT were ready! The cakes are always delicious from La Sures. We've been ordering cakes from them for about 10 years now and we especially love the chocolate chip cake. Recently we ordered a graduation cake for my daughters college graduation. I wanted it decorated very special. I really didn't expect much because they are not very good with the decorations. I asked for blue piping around the cake with gold writing. I provided the cap. The cake was done in black and yellow and when I picked it up they asked if someone was graduating from UWO. I said no, and realized they made it with Oshkosh colors. Very disappointed as usual. For a wedding cake place their decorators are terrible. This isn't the first time we've been disappointed. read more

I found LaSure's by fluke, we were looking for a place to have breakfast and the restaurant we visited was way too packed, so we drove around and came upon LaSure's, I have no idea how long they have been around, but I feel like I am stepping back in time, but that tells me you do not fix what is definitely not broken. The are definitely a jewel all its own. Since that first day of finding them, I make this my go to when it comes to eating out for breakfast. I have only ordered breakfast, even when I come in later in the afternoon. I just love the omelets, so flavorful and folded to perfection with a great amount of filling in every bite. My son tries something new every time we visit, and loves Lasure's. The prices are just right, and the service is top notch, they are friendly and they go out of their way for their customers. I love a place when you see the servers greet their regulars by name, and genuinely ask how they are doing and their families. Just a great experience in this small, cozy cafe. read more

Go to IHOP. Zero stars. Waitress was pleasant, did her job, was responsive. "Food" was awful - bland, abysmal quality, fake syrup, from a can taste. I felt so bad for the waitress who had to try to earn a living being the middle-man between the horrific food and the customer. Honestly, one of the worst diner experiences ever, no effort or TLC put into this place by the owner/operator. read more

I have been going to Lasure's for years but I will not be going again. On the menu there is a Granny's Country Omelet. Ingredients include ham, mushroom, onions and hashbrowns. I had to ask for extra hashbrowns because they are waved over omelet like a garnishment. There was hardly any hashbrowns in the omelet, I opened it up to display to the waitress. In turn, she got after the cook who brought out a bowl of hashbrowns and practically threw it on the table and stated very loudly "Here you are". My mother had a taco omelet that barely had any meat in it. Mostly made with olives. This is not acceptable!! I will not be back and I strongly suggest going to Delta House in Oshkosh. They do not treat their patrons this shabbily. read more

This place is a mecca for cake lovers...unfortunately my most recent stop at Lasure's was for breakfast, so I can't rave about the meal. I had the Taco Salad (ok, to be honest it was my breakfast, but since it was noon, I went for the salty greasy goodness) and my friends ordered an assortment of omelets and sandwiches. These items were all fairly spot on for greasy spoon diner food and were pretty heavily salted, greased, and processed....but isn't that what you want to eat when you are on your way home after a late night open bar wedding??? read more
