Best cheesesteak in Orlando. A lot of people obviously agree with my assessment based on the crowds at lunch. If you don't get here by 11:30-12:00, you will have to wait in line and hope a table opens up. But it's worth waiting in line for a bit to get the authentic Philly cheesesteaks served at LaSpada's. It's not posted on the menu, but you can ask for your sandwich with Cheez Whiz like they are made in Philadelphia. The menu here is actually quite extensive and they make great hamburgers and a killer BLT. They also have Herr's potato chips (try them with the Old Bay seasoning!) and Tastykakes like you'd find in Philly. The prices here are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and efficient. This is a real family-run business, not a chain. Great food at great prices. Only wish they had more seating. read more

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, the place is great. Look at the other options I. Orlando, nothing compares in value, quality, taste or cleanliness. Service is proportionate to crowd size and appropriate for the quality. So give an extra minute because it takes time to be custom and quality. I ordered six sandwiches for a work crew, they made me go back the next day, which is today, and I assume tomorrow as well. Glad we found this place. I found this place because the guys are done with one slice subs from wawa and subway. We searched for sandwich shop and ended up at laspada. Look no further for the best cheesesteak in town. However you like it they make it. The Italian sub has so much meat that it literally covers up the sub, so if you look at it from above all you see is meat, the bread has been buried underneath layers of meat. hahaha. genius. It's the "side of attitude" the previous reviewer mentioned that rubbed me the wrong way with them. I have certain food allergies and despite my better judgement went with a group of people to LaSpada's today after they had raved about the food there. I ordered a roast beef sub which came out the most rare I have ever seen, and I've been to Kelly's in Boston (which is a whole different story). I asked if they could throw it on the grill to at least brown it and they refused, the lady questioned me "What's wrong with you, you like your beef dead or something?" Yes, as a matter of fact I do; how rude was that? A nicer lady put the sub in the oven for me but it still came out raw, and not appetizing. $8 down the drain. Since they had already given me attitude I decided to not try my luck again with them. Also, they got a few of the other orders in our group wrong, and Mrs. "Attitude" went digging through the trash to prove that the order was filled as written. Ah. I just love this place. It's a hole-in-the-wall that's a little hard to find but well worth the trip. I've only had one authentic philly cheesesteak and this is every bit as good if not better. It comes piping hot so don't dive in. Start with a fork until it cools off. Their burgers are awesome... their subs are perfect. The portions are HUGE (don't order the 12 incher unless you are part of a reality TV show... or you are sharing. Seriously. I went there today and was shocked that I had not reviewed this place yet. We love this place but sometimes they just DON'T listen to the simplest order OR whoever's making it doesn't read the order slip correctly. I ask them for a burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion. That's it. And today they only manage to give me cheese and lettuce on said burger. Before WaWa came into town this was my go to place for Herr's Potato chips as well as Tasty cakes. Not only was I able to get delicious snacks from my home town, but their food is amazing. First off the portions are quite large. My friend orders the Italian sub and I am always amazed how much they cram into that bread! I am a fan of the pizza cheese steak. So my husband insisted for me to pick up his lunch at this location. I called 20 mins prior pick up, I spoke with a woman who couldn't "understand" me, line went dead -not sure if she hung up on me but I called again & she was able to get my order right the second time & was told food should be ready in 15. I drove there for pick up just to wait another 15 minutes also to be told they run out of bacon (I ordered large grilled turkey bacon & cheese) ... Was hot inside, also I think there's enough staff for the customers inside so unsure why it was taking a little longer, I noticed few Unwiped tables too. Some people are just nice, some are just mediocre. Anyway, I tried the food when I was back home, it was really really good! Results may vary - I wouldn't even give this place a single star. The only person who seemed to care about what they were doing was the guy at the register. I have visited several south Florida locations and they have all been amazing but this one is truly terrible. Not only did they not give me ANY options to add anything to my sub (lettuce, tomatoes, mayo) but the location was super dirty and the menu posted on the wall was all botched up and saying "prices will change without notice". Offer 9 sides, including 5 versions of potatoes. Tried the sweet potato, waffle fries. Sweet and salty, crispy goodness. Will have a hard time ordering the others, when this was so perfect.
