Wow! What an experience. The entire team there was amazing. I had been looking on getting this done for some time now. Time as in 10 years, but I've always been wanting to get this done but my fears kept me away. Also the fact that the first time I checked on this, I was told it wouldn't be an out patient procedure. So let's fast forward to 2020... I finally think its time. I walk in and was greeted by their front end staff who was very welcoming. I went through the typical tests to see if I was a candidate. To my surprise, I was eligible for Lasik. I was stoked to know that I was going to be able to get my vision corrected finally. I set my date for the surgery, but I was still nervous about the whole thing and my nerves were pushing me to away. It took the support from a couple of great fellow Yelpers to help me get over this hurdle. Dr. Horn was awesome! He helped put me at ease as he walked me through the whole process. He even let my sister in to record the procedure, after the initial measurement and prep. I'm happy to say that I can finally see without the need of contacts or glasses, which has made a huge change in my life. Worst experience of my life. I received a voicemail 2 hours before my operation to let me know the doctor "just then" noticed due to my medical history I was ineligible. I called back and was told the doctor would call me back at which point he never did. Then the billing department refunded my amount to an expired credit card effectively making me lose out on 2500$. I expected a FAR better service especially considering I prepared before the surgery. Would strongly recommend AGAINST. read more

I came in recently to see if I qualified for Lasik, the appointment was free of charge. I qualified however, I am looking for a health care provider not a corporate business, especially when it comes to my eyesight. This Lasik center is very corporate and for me felt impersonal. I was just part of an assembly time, register yourself on a computer and watch corporate video about Lasik and The Center. I was uncomfortable and felt very pressured to book my procedure now; I was offered various discounts for having my procedure ASAP. I got this message from all Center salespersons, book now - save money. Also I was asked to book the most expensive option of laser because it comes with a lifetime of free adjustments. Other Yelp reviews explained how many hoops you are required to jump through for them to honor this part of the treatment. It's part of the sales pitch, but sounds very complicated to qualify for these adjustments. Upselling was a priority for the employees I interacted with. I was given a quote for the highest cost laser and wasn't given price comparisons for the other two types of lasers available here. The staff wasn't as friendly when I told them I wanted to think it over before I booked a procedure. When I asked about the lower cost lasers, sales person stopped smiling and our conversation wrapped up quickly. The experience was akin to shopping for a car. The Center is located inside a mall in a very congested part of the city I typically avoid. It was totally my error to not look up the address prior to the appointment. If you are driving here, or interested in avoiding malls too, this may be important to consider. I am now shopping around for a non-franchise /less corporate Lasik center. Last bit of helpful information is this: My partner got his Lasik procedure done in Costa Rica for a 1/5th of the cost. It has been important for us to consider that for the entire cost of the particular quote I was given here, we could pay for airfare, hotel, my Lasik procedure and an entire vacation in Costa Rica. In case you are wondering, his procedure was flawless and he has been enjoying near perfect vision for many years. He hasn't needed any further corrective procedures. read more

Waited for 3 1/2 hours! That's absolutely ridiculous. I had surgeries in the past in different places for different body parts but never waited for that long. I can understand you want to make sure you have all your patients there but all were advised to come at 3:00PM? And spoke with couple of patients they were told the same 3:00-3:15PM Other than that, staff is great. Nothing to complain about. Dr Horn is great. Good energy and vibe specially I was one of the last patients for the day. My advice to you as a patient, when they tell you come at 3:00PM, show up at 5:00PM you still have 1 1/2 hours anyway to wait. I hope I get your attention office manager with this review to adjust your business model. As a businessman, you just wasted 3 1/2 hours of my life waiting and making me more anxious. It's been exactly one month since I got my Lasik surgery done at Lasik plus with Dr. Horn. I could not be happier with the consultation, procedure, and results. I had already decided I was going to get Lasik done, just had to figure out where. I started calling around on a Tuesday to get pricing and schedule the consultations to make sure I was a candidate etc. Lasik plus had availability for me to come in same day for the consultation, and at the consultation they said I was a great candidate. They said I could get it done two days later on the Thursday. Whoa, that's moving pretty fast. It's like moving in with a girlfriend before you've been dating for a full year. But I wasn't afraid of commitment, so I booked it. Several friends have gotten Lasik at various places and have almost all said it's 100% worth it and it's really not that bad, so I was expecting it to be a relatively easy procedure and recovery. Even with those high expectations, the experience was much easier than I thought it would be. The surgery itself was super quick. Dr. Horn and his assistants were all very professional yet friendly. They explained everything that was happening and gave feedback on how I was doing. I thought it was amusing that Dr. Horn saw me in the waiting room pre-Lasik and asked me to take off my glasses so that post-Lasik I'd realize how much better my vision was by comparison. I've been wearing contacts for 20 years so I already knew how shitty my sight was, but I liked that he cared about me seeing results immediately. When I sat up after it was done, I could already see well enough to not have to squint. My prescription before was -3.5 in both eyes so I wasn't blind, but I couldn't function in public without contacts or glasses. After the quick post-op stuff there, I used my phone to order an Uber home. Walked down stairs, found the car myself, got to my house, etc. No glasses, no contacts. It was amazing. The hardest part was that when you get home you're supposed to take a ~4 hour nap to sleep through the painful part of the recovery. I took both of the sleeping pills but couldn't fall asleep, so I had to throw in some ZZzquil also, but once I had that I was able to sleep. Once I woke up there was no pain. I could see pretty well that night, and it just got better from there. Within a day or two I had already practically forgotten that I had Lasik. I may have been lucky to not have any of the halos at night, rarely had any blurriness during the recovery, and never felt any pain besides the discomfort when I was trying to fall asleep immediately post op. The package I purchased came with "free refills" so if my eyes deteriorate as I get older, I can get a free tune up. And I 100% will do so. In short: life changing, so glad I got it done, and glad I went with LasikPlus. read more

Overall I had a great experience! I was skeptical at first, but after having the consultation, the doctor answered all my questions and the provided videos helped take away my reservations. On treatment day the staff were friendly and accommodating. The procedure overall was quick and painless. There is just an initially feeling of a little pressure, which the staff informs you about, but no actual pain. My only critic is that everything seemed so fast paced that it was kind of robotic. I understand that there's probably a lot of patients to see and a set schedule to get through, but for patients who may be a little more anxious, the strenuous fast pace kind of makes it a little more nerve wrecking. I also really liked the QR code video instructions for post treatment care. The staff also goes over the instructions during check-in as well. I would even suggest doing a 3rd final review of the instructions post procedure one-on-one outside of the business of the procedure room to make sure the instructions stick. Because although there's the initial explanation, as patients we're already coming in nervous and we hear the instructions and look at the videos, but once all the excitement or business of the surgery occurs, sometimes that instructions goes out the window. So for reiteration and so patient doesn't feel rushed out, having someone meet that person and go over the instructions one last time and provide a final opportunity for questions I think would be really beneficial. But again, overall I had a good experience! read more

I've been wearing glasses since I was 12 years old. Lord only knows how long my vision was blurry before that! Never been a contacts wearer because my eyes are so darn sensitive and would feel irritated. I was convinced I'd be a lifelong glasses wearer, even if it cramped my style. :P Anywho! A couple months ago I thought to myself "maybe I should revisit the idea of lasik?" Many, many years ago I had done a lasik consultation at a non-LasikPlus facility and was terrified at the thought of a blade being used on my eye. I recently discovered LasikPlus uses blade-free technology, so I booked my consultation. The morning of the consultation, I was so anxious. Who likes their eyes being touched?! The whole team at LasikPlus made the consultation SO easy. They calmed my nerves, talked me through the process, my options, and then scheduling availability. There was nothing standing in my way now! Booked my procedure for the following week. Fast forward to procedure day, and I. was. terrified. I *knew* the outcome would be fine, it was just the whole "what is this going to feel like? how uncomfortable will I be?" factor. Knowing Dr. Aymond has completed more than 70,000 of these procedures made me feel a little less terrified! Well, let me tell you - the procedure itself was SO QUICK AND EASY. As I waited for my turn to go into the procedure room, I watched people go in and out in what couldn't have been more than 10-15 minutes. When it was my turn to go in, Dr. Aymond greeted me with a smile and a handshake, and assured me that I was in good hands. He even told me this is the same technology he used to correct his own daughter's vision - a small detail, but something that really calmed my nerves. He and the team in the procedure room were FANTASTIC. They talked throughout the entire procedure so I'd understand exactly what they were doing, exactly what I would be experiencing, and before I knew it - it was all done. For anyone concerned about pain or discomfort - they put strong numbing drops in your eyes so you don't feel a darn thing. You might feel a little pressure, but it's so minimal that it's almost not worth mentioning. Even the bizarre sensation of "omg I'm WATCHING this happen" didn't make for an uncomfortable experience. A few recommendations/tips for any ladies who are considering this procedure (the things I wish I would've known in advance): - You cannot wear makeup for a week following your procedure. - You can't rub your eyes for a few months following the procedure, so invest in a nice eye makeup remover that doesn't involve heavy rubbing. - If you're a fitness fanatic, you have to wear a sweatband for a week following the procedure if you're going to be sweating. Wearing a hat won't cut it, so if you are planning to workout - get that sweatband in advance! - Also, since you cannot rub your eyes, I suggest buying a sleep mask if you are like me and wake up rubbing your eyes out of habit. They make nice ones that are spacious around your eyes so they aren't putting direct pressure on them. - If you have long hair, wear it pulled back out of your face. My procedure was done on a very windy day and my hair blew into my eyes as I left the facility. Not good! Definitely don't want that to mess up the great procedure you just had. If it does, they can certainly fix it, but who wants that added fun? :) - Absolutely bring someone with you for help getting home, getting into bed, and getting your medications ready. They do advise you to do this, but I was told I'd be seeing clearly enough to take an uber home after the procedure without having someone there with me. Maybe some people could do this, but I was DEEEEFINITELY not one of them. :) Highly discourage trying to navigate this alone! Overall, this is the best investment I've ever made in my life. My only regret is not doing it sooner! Dr. Aymond & team were the perfect group to transform my life - and I've already started sending my friends and family over for consultations. Heck, my sister is going in later this week for her procedure! If you are considering Lasik, book a consultation and learn more about your options. You're worth the investment! read more

I had a wonderful experience with LasikPlus. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Horn performed my surgery, he did a great job of making me feel comfortable. The surgery itself was a little scary - no pain but left me with an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I quickly went home, took a nap, and woke up a new person. I now have better than 20/20 vision - only having my surgery a few days ago. Only negative I would the office itself is one of the women working at the front desk messed up my appointment, financing options, and my follow up appointment. She might be new but it wasn't anything that couldn't get resolved. Post op is a bit of a pain. Constant eye drops and sleeping with goggles on the first week. I am experiencing some dryness but that should subside eventually. Overall, I am very happy with my decision to get Lasik and to choose LasikPlus. read more

Preface: This review is not specific to the North Avenue location, but for all the Chicagoland Lasik Plus locations, as they operate like a chain. I called the 800 number to book a consultation and thoroughly explained my need to optimize my insurance benefits by scheduling each eye a week apart. I also explained that I was not interested in a consultation if the dates I needed were not available. The call center person was easy to work with and confirmed that the operation dates I needed WERE available at the Lincoln Park location and that he would book them now and I could cancel them, if necessary, after the consultation. I was so happy the schedule worked, so I promptly scheduled the consultation, and took the surgery days off work. I showed up for the consultation in Oakbrook and, after being told I was a candidate, I thought everything was all set to have both operations in Lincoln Park. It turns out no appointment was ever pre-booked and I would have to work out completely new dates. I worked out something for a second time and tried to get the days off work, but it did not work with my schedule. I called back to reschedule the dates for a third time, and the lady I spoke with in the Oak Brook office was very kind about the whole thing and worked with me to find new dates that were even better than the first rescheduling. I was finally optimistic about the whole thing again. Then I received a call from the Lincoln Park office saying that they were completely booked on the day they had just scheduled me on, and that I would have to chose another date. I had enough. I told them to forget it. Cancel everything. I will be seeking treatment elsewhere, but I hope this review helps someone. read more

Lasik Plus's slogan should be " hurry up and wait." I would not recommend them. It's like a slaughter house. They give you a pamhepet that says " what to expect during procedure day" but what they don't tell you is that you wait with like 20 other people in the waiting room to get the procedure done( procedures are all on specific days so everyone in the waiting room is waiting for the same thing), you guys are all scheduled near the same time, so the means you will be waiting like 2-3 hours after the time you scheduled the appointment for, for your procedure to actually take place. You literally will arrive on the schedule time, just to wait for 2-3 hours, that is standard for Lasikplus. They don't care about or honor scheduled appointments. They book back to back because they can make more money. So be prepared to hurry up to wait. The waiting room is also super cold( kind of like their staff). But they literally just book patients back to back but are always too backed up to stay on top of their own schedule. They are always late in all appointments I have experienced. If time is not an issue, then great, go here. But I would also not recommenced that.... They are hard to reach, it's not easy to reach a doctor if you need. With procedures, sometimes things can go wrong, so you NEED to reach a doctor. But they are not reachable. I regret getting my surgery done by them because I don't have a doctors office I am proud to say that I got it done there. I never talk about lasikplus to people who want recommendations because of my experience. I also regret getting it done there is because I have experienced extreme dry eyes 6 months after getting the procedure. So I called and ask for an appointment and they tell me I am not eligible for an appointment because it has been too long. But that wasn't what I was told prior to booking the procedure. I was told I would be covered for appointments with them. Complications: The provide a pamphlet for complications and it does NOT mention extreme dry eyes. It mentions infection, discomfort, slow healing in some patients, haze, scarring, visual outcome. I asked to schedule an appointment due to my eyes being painful to open due to dryness and they said since it's been more than 3 months, I need to go schedule an appointment with a optometrist somewhere else. I was told that I could still get appointments from them after the procedure as a followup and that was not true. It makes no sense that they are aware the recovery process is over time, yet they cut the appointments off after 3 months when you are not fully recovered. You have to be willing to get the worst outcome if you want to go here. A positive outcome is possible, but not likely. read more

It's been about 20 hours since I've completed my Lasik surgery and I am beyong excited with the results! I'm seeing 20/20, as clear as I was seeing almost 20 years ago before my vision began deteriorating (I was nearsighted at -5.00 in each eye before surgery). The process was just as smooth as I'd imagined it would be; the nursing staff has incredible bedside manner! My girlfriend was with me throughout the entire process and as a transplant nurse, she said they were great. She is in the process of getting Lasik herself for next year and has already decided to go with LasikPlus as well. Upon arrival, they sat me down to do some quick measurements and ensure that I'd been out of my contacts for at least 3 days as required for soft lens wearers. Then, I filled out my consent forms and proceeded with the full payment (thank you FSA!). After waiting about 30 minutes, they took me to a prep room where my nurse went over instructions on how to take all medications after surgery was complete. This is where they also give you the option to take valium for the calming effect and ibuprofen in case there is any pain from the swelling (I had absolutely no pain, nor did i feel any swelling after my procedure). Once we had gone over all the meds, Dr. Aymond came in and took a few minutes to describe the process. He was very friendly and I was very comfortable when we started heading into the surgical room. The entire process took about 7 or 8 minutes, and he talks you through the whole thing. They gave me a squishy football to hold on to, which was a good thing as I did fel myself tensing up. The first laser is the intralase, which creates the flap on your eye (groupon offers cheap lasik surgery for those who stll use a blade, but I did NOT want to save a few bucks to go a route that is less precise, requires more healing time, and may cause other complications that they had mentioned in other consultations that use the blade). They use numbing drops in your eye, so you don't feel any sensitivitity. He did one eye at a time and I'll do my best to describe the feeling; as if it's pushing down on your eye, so a little pressure but no pain. My vision went black for maybe about 10 seconds, but that's normal and came back a bit foggy after the flap was created. After the intralase was complete (about 4-5 minutes total), we went over to the other laser which corrects your vision. This laser re-shapes your cornea, so the smell is similar to that of burnt hair. It's very faint and each eye took about 30 seconds to complete. The wonders of modern technology, and that was a wrap! Upon sitting up, I could see everthing around me but just a bit foggy. Dr. Aymond took some additional measurements on my eye and said everything went well. It's recommended to go home and try to rest, but I was not feeling any pain so just laid down for a little bit and started cleaning around my condo. A few hours later, the foggy vision was gone, and I could see as clear as if I'd been wearing my contacts/glasses. I've been taking all of my eyedrops per the schedule they printed out for me and I feel absolutely fantastic! My eyes feel perfectly fine, no pain or discomfort, and I'm wearing the goggles they had given to me so I don't accidentally rub my eyes. I have my follow up appointment today in a few hours, so looking forward to seeing the staff again with my new set of eyes! I couldn't be happier for moving forward with LasikPlus, a bunch of my friends are already interested in also moving forward with LasikPlus based on my review and experience. I paid over 3k on their "deal" which was clearly NOT a deal as other people report paying considerably less, but once they have your money, don't dare think that their policy of treating you as a customer for life is anything other than BS. I had to cancel my 2nd follow up appointment, approximately 2 months after my surgury, and trying to schedule another has been a nightmare. I've had extreme dryness & irritation (to the point where at my 1st follow up he couldn't evaluate my vision to see if they got me to 20/20). I've called numerous times, and even though they have Saturday hours, they have told me every Saturday is booked as far as their booking calendar allows them to make appointments every time. They also have Sunday hours, but those are ONLY for people who had Lasik done the day before. I have attempted to make appointments 4 times, and 2 attempts ago they were fully booked on evenings & weekend for the 3 months of the appointment calendar, so unless I wanted to take the day off work, I was told to call back in late August or early September. I went to a wedding labor day weekend & my one eye was so irritated that I had to leave the reception & go to my room, because it hurt so much. Of course, Lasik wasn't open, so I had to find somewhere who could take me that Sunday & ended up in a Walmart vision center, where (not surprisingly) I was told my vision was not 20/20 & I could use a light prescription (not news: I could have told you that considering I can hardly read a street sign till I'm right on top of it). Also, he said he could still see the circular scar from Lasik, & it looks like it didn't heal right. He suggested I had corneal errosion & it would require a surgury to correct. So, I didn't just have very dry eyes that would eventually heal, I had a problem that could have been diagnosed & corrected had they ever let me in for a follow up. Anyway, just around that time I called Lasik and was able to get an appointment just after my honeymoon, on Tuesday evening (10/20). I took the train down, 45 minutes, wlked to the office, and found that they are CLOSED ON TUESDAYS. I call Lasik extremely upset & get the basic customer service BS I have been trained on myself ("I understand your frustration..."), they tell me it's usually open Tuesdays (which is contrary to the sign they have posted with their hours), but still they won't give me an appointment I can use, because I am NOT taking off a workday for this...I already paid $3400! I'm supposed to get service for life, not just until they get my payment. They tell me the center is closed, but someone will call in 24-48. I demand a call back in 24 hours. It's been 4 days. In a nutshell: it is most certainly not a painless procedure, follow up for life is BS, they don't always get it right (because I'm not 20/20 & my friend who also went there had to have a 2nd surgery because one eye was -3.5!), and if you have a problem, they don't care because you've already paid. read more

The surgery was phenomenal and makes my extremely poor vision worth the risk, if you can even call it one. The people were very friendly and very respectful towards me and understand why I chose to take LasikPlus as my preferred place to get my laser eye surgery done. They really love to ask you for your date of birth which I always discuss that they love to do (even during the procedure which gave me a bunch of laughs). I am just thankful that they were able to successfully repair my eye sight that I have been struggling with ever since I was a child. This review is regarding my experience having PRK surgery (not LASIK). I just had my PRK surgery in mid January, and am extremely happy with the results. Having PRK is a way different animal than LASIK, as the healing time is much, much longer. I was very nervous early on, but received a lot of reassurance from Drs. Aymond and Bergers (Dr. McCarthy was gone for most of my visits). Dr. Aymond was very thoughtful about which procedure was best for my eye anatomy. Though having LASIK would have been much more desirable, ultimately PRK was the safest route for my eyes. PRK itself isn't a walk in the park. I was in a lot of pain for the first two days, and couldn't see for the first four. My vision didn't reach 20/20 until recently (4-6 weeks later), and my eyes are likely still healing. However, for undergoing PRK, my overall experience was top notch! If you find yourself in the PRK dilemma, have confidence that they know what they are doing at LASIK Plus. I am also a physician, and I truly appreciated the interactions with not only the optometrists and Dr. Aymond, but the staff as well. Almost exactly 3 months out. Everything is still going great. I would say my eyes are 99% healed. Twice in the last month or so I've had a brief instance of blurriness it one eye. It went away quickly though. I still have 20/20. (I printed an online version so I could just make sure). I can't even imagine going back to glasses and contacts. It is so nice to just grab my sunglasses and not have to plan and make sure I put contacts in. I don't have to poke myself in the eye every morning. If there is something in my eye I don't even have to worry about a contact. I don't have dry eyes at all anymore. It's so amazing. read more

I can't believe how easy and fast the Lasik process was. Everyone was so nice at the office. The entire thing from the consultation to the procedure to the after care appointment was very smooth. I woke up after a nap the day of the procedure and could see so clearly. I even drove myself to my day after appointment! Aside from a little dryness and achiness, I feel amazing. I was very hesitant coming here primarily because there are so many lasik options in the city. During the initial consultation, the staff was very helpful and was able to walk me through everything very easily. I ended with two options due to my low prescription: the VISX laser (1500) and the wavelight laser (3700+ lifetime touch ups). I did a million google searches and didn't find a ton of difference between the two. There are several eye centers only using the VISX so I decided to just go with that one. During the surgery, dr Aymond was very helpful and ran through everything as he did it . He kept saying it's going fine or going perfect which helped my nerves throughout. After I was done, we took a pic with the doctor and they sent me home . Relatively painless . You can actually see better after than when you get your eyes dialated for the consultation . Fast forward 3 hours I just woke up from a nap. I would only say it's painful but still a little weird feeling probably for the next few hours . I have a follow up tomorrow with the doctor and that's how I feel I'll know my progress. I'll edit this review then . So far so good! Update : went for my follow up - 20/20 vision ! I woke up and it was like magic - I could see so far ! Apparently now I need to train my close vision to work perfectly again, but I only noticed a little decline when doing computer work for a long period of time . Friendly service, caring staff, knowledgeable doctors, amazing surgeon. My whole experience with the LasikPlus family, from the free consultation to the post-op visit, was nothing but positive. The free consultation: minimal waiting, thorough examination with in-depth explanation of what is being done and why. They asked if I had questions along the way. They presented all options available to me based on the health of my eyes. There was an informative video that was even more informative. Lasik Surgey Day: paid up front, they have a Credit Care option that offers a credit card option that offers twelve months interest free. Waited a bit, as there were several surgeries lined up before me. While you wait, you can see the other surgeries in open gallery operation room. The efficiency and professionalism while watching is a thing of magic. When your turn is up, you go to the pre-op room, while the most friendliest nurses make sure you are good to go on your post care responsibilities. You watch another video from the surgeon that gives a detailed play by play of what will happen and what to expect. Then you head into the operating room. I'll spare you the details, but to say that the nurses and surgeon talked me through every single thing that was being done. The whole procedure took at most 5-7 minutes. When I was done, I got the sunglasses and was well on my way. Post-op follow up: Happened the next day, I was in and out in 30 min. They checked how I was feeling and they checked my vision. Dr. Aymond is phenomenal! Both my husband and I had our procedures done by him. From the very first consultation to the follow-up appointments, they have always been super professional and have gone above and beyond. The procedure was just as Dr. Aymond said it would be. Everything was smooth sailing. Everybody was friendly. Doctor Aymond guided me through the whole process during the operation and now i have 20/20 post op 2 days! You do have a burning sensation on the first day but thats normal. They provide tylonel pills to help with that and to help sleep. Dont forget to pack that. It's been 2 weeks since I got my procedure done and I must say it was the best investment I have ever made. Prices here are competitive and they offer different plans with different insurances that are optimally utilized since there are quite a few LasikPlus locations in the country. The experience: Staff here are very cheery and welcoming. Team of technicians, optometrists, and surgeons ensure you get optimal care. After I got mine done I brought my girlfriend in a day later for her free consultation and my checkup and found that I went from 20/200 vision to 20/15. Pretty amaze-balls. Anyways, back to the experience. I had Dr. Horn and my girlfriend had Dr. Aymond. Between the two, Dr. Horn is more straightforward tell you what you need to know "Let's do it" type of guy. Dr. Aymond on the other hand holds your hand through the process and makes you feel really good about your procedure. Depending on how comfortable you feel getting the procedure this should help you pick one of them. Both of them give excellent results I should add. My girlfriend was 20/20 two days after the procedure. Bottom line: Competitive pricing, well-trained staff, strong results, free parking, nothing more you can really ask for. The doctor explained everything step-by-step throughout the whole procedure which was very calming. Quick recovery time! Felt like myself the next day. I would highly recommend getting lasik. I've been wanting to get the lasik procedure done for years now. Since my first encounter with LasikPlus, I knew it was the center that I wanted to have the operation at. Very professional and clean and all the team members were very welcoming! Dr. Aymond is a guru. The day of the operation he made me feel very comfortable and talked throughout the whole procedure. It only took about 10 minutes and I didn't feel anything other than a little pressure. Day 2, my vision is the best it has every been without glasses or contacts. It's like magic. My vision is not as good as I expected. I went for the one month follow up today. Still -2.30? Can't see 20/20 now for sure. Very disappointed. Never write reviews on yelp. Today I want to share my experience. Hope it can help you guys. My 1st visit: consultation. Free. Basically just regular eye exam. 2199/eye, everyone should be different base on your own vision situation. I have insurance,Plus I got surgery early , the very next week . The quote went down to 3600 for both eyes with lifetime guarantee. My 2nd visit: procedure day. A. They gave you all the eye drops you need, goggles, sunglasses. But they don't offer valumn or sleep pill and They didn't give me prescription before my surgery day. I requested the valumn because I was kind of nervous and the lady at front desk was trying to call but cvs didn't answer their phone. Fail. Fail. So if you need anything, make sure you told them about that on your consultation day. Don't wait till the last minute. B. I have done so many research before, other places will do additional eye exam or go through everything to make sure eye analysis or each data is accurate before procedure started. I mean, your eyes, you don't want anything goes wrong. Here Lasik plus, they use the exam records which you did on your consultation day. Very rush. Big Con. Feel like it is just a business. I'm a customer not a patient. Not satisfied about that. C. Staffs are very nice. So does the surgeon. Especially the front dest assistant and the lady who go over all medicine instructions for me. I had my laser surgery 1 month ago. No problem at all except the expected dryness. My husband had the survey 1 week after me. The office is located in a great area with parking. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the procedure. The day of the procedure, they explained everything clearly and thoroughly. The doctor was amazing during the entire procedure. I was very anxious and he kept me clam during the entire time. He was even making jokes. I felt no pain during the procedure. Worth every penny read more

Everyone at the center is incredibly competent and reassuring. The technology they use is super sophisticated, it's incredible how it's progressed and how more and more people can be treated now. I have (had) -6/-6.5 in each eye, and am on the day after my procedure. I have mild blurriness and achiness/dryness as to be expected, and my eyes have a couple red spots, but they provide plenty of eyedrops to make you comfortable. I just got my followup exam and everything looks great. The procedure itself was incredibly quick. Don't get me wrong, the valium helped immensely, but the doc and team really know what they're doing. They keep you informed throughout the procedure so you know exactly when to expect which sensations, and are super quick, like when a nurse distracts a kid during a shot lmao. Costwise, my vision was quite bad so it was about $2,200 per eye. My insurance gave me 10% off and I got $100 off for having the procedure within two weeks of the consultation. I used in-house financing instead of credit, so in my case I put $2000 down (use accounts like HSA or FSA!). It will take a little while for my vision to become as clear as it can be, but even now it's such an improvement. Thanks, guys ------ It is now Jan 29, 2020 and my eyesight is getting so poor I wouldn't trust myself to drive some days. I had doubts about Lasik. Could it really be *THAT* good? The answer is a resounding "YES!!!!" After a bit of trepidation, I mustered up the courage to give it a go. The LasikPlus staff eased all of my concerns and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The actual procedure was painless and quick. Now, a day afterwards, I'm already reaping the benefits with no pain or discomfort. I had a prescription of -3.75 left and -4.5 right, bit now my vision is better than 20/20 (although the healing process is far from complete).
