(GROUPON PURCHASE) So I went back and forth whether to post…read morea review or not since I never got service, but I use Yelp as a final decision on whether to buy a groupon or not. And I'll rather not have anyone else go thru this. So I purchased a groupon for a full set of eyelashes with a 2 week fill through Groupon in the beginning of Feb. This week I had some free time and I called her business number Tuesday afternoon, so I can make an appointment. Goes to voicemail, I leave a quick voicemail, and she texts me back. No problem, I think texting is easier. I'll attach the texts, but basically she never got back to me. She texted me she'd give me her availability asap then after her next client. I sent a courtesy text the next day letting her know I was still waiting and NO response. So today (Friday) I just decided to process a refund because how am I going to use a groupon if I cant get in contact with the person‍ I dont like posting bad reviews but buyers beware.

On the back they used no oil. It was a dry massage so that was strange. They used a bucket of water on the side of the sink to rinse my hair and bowl. The towels smelled like mildew. And at the end of the treatment they didn't even brush my hair out. Mind you I have curly hair. They pointed me to a hairdryer and said I could dry my hair. I had to ask for a brush. Was given nothing to help me untangle it so that was fun, for those with curly hair you understand my pain. Definitely won't be going back. I was so disappointed

I eventually texted…read moreand I asked what time they had open yesterday (which was weeks in advance) and they said 6:45pm. I arrived almost 30 minutes early but they were closing up. I waited outside then about 15 minutes before my appointment I started calling and texting because the front and back doors were locked. Even attaching my confirmation texts (one of which I received the day before) but didn't receive an answer. My appointment time came and I decided to wait until 5 minutes past it. Right before I was about to leave a young woman came to the door and appeared nervous. I informed her of the situation and showed her my confirmation by text. She called the person who was suppose to run my session but she was on the road doing a different appointment elsewhere. I said it wasn't a problem if I came back. But she insisted she could do it herself. It was still good but it was hard to enjoy it because I felt guilty this lady had to stay way past when she was supposed to leave. While close, I also didn't get the full 90 minutes. The lady also informed me as I was leaving that the place closed at 7pm and advised me to make my appointments earlier. But I clearly wanted to. This was the time I was given out of more availability I originally provided. Overall a decent experience but also very strange and I think it could've easily been avoided by just calling me in advance and let me know the original worker couldn't make the appointment anymore.
