I've gotten my lashes lifted and tinted here 3 times now and I walk away happy every time! My lashes are long and thick but they have always pointed downward instead of up. Usually mascara and lash curlers don't last longer than 5 mins for me. I was amazed at how much of a difference the lash lift provided me!! I absolutely love it every time. It lasts for a decent amount of time too, as long as you don't sleep on your lashes. For some reason, my GPS took me to San Carlos for my first appointment and I was suuuper confused. I called Thanh and explained what happened and we had to cancel the appointment. However, she quickly scheduled me for another appointment the next day and she didn't charge me a fee for the mix up even though it was totally my fault for not double checking my GPS. She is a really friendly and understanding person. The last time I went in, she offered to add lash conditioner to my lashes for free! She plays calming music that is easy to relax to during the lash lift, and also offers good conversations. Sometimes I get super freaked out about people touching my eyes - I'm a nightmare at the eye doctor lol. But Thanh always makes me feel comfortable. She's always a text away if you have any questions after your appointment. About the location: Plenty of street parking along with parking in the parking lot. Went to this place to try something near me since I usually get my lash lift in SF. Read tons of reviews thinking it was by far the best place, but what a bad mistake. If you want some mediocre work go there, or if you don't care to pay 130 plus tip because you are the bad person if you don't for "lift" lash that was more like curl your lashes for a week go there. What a waste of money. She asked for some minutes after the person who was before me leave, thinking she was going to clean but I was wrong , that was a bad start, the place was not clean, she was nice but took only 42 minutes to finish it was so bad I knew after the time was done it wasn't good. read more

I'm so excited about this new beauty trend! About two years I ago, I was addicted to eyelash extensions. I started getting an allergic reaction and was honestly was over the maintenance every month. I'm so glad I found the "lash lift" technique! A lash lift does what it says- it lifts your natural lashes using some chemical magic potion (harmless). The whole experience takes about 45 mins, eyes closed the majority of the time. It's painless. You get to take a nap. You are left with natural looking, lifted, beautiful lashes! Thanh gives you some aftercare tips- pretty similar to lash extensions: don't get them wet first 24 hours, avoid oil based products, etc. And the lift lasts! I've been in Mexico living the rough traveler life, might not be taking the best care, and 3 weeks later my lashes are still lifted! The lift should last about 6 weeks (longer than extensions). The cost was ~$90, sounds pricey but worth it due to the low maintenance. Highly recommend lash lifts if you are done with eyelash extensions! read more

Wow, I think it's safe to say that I've finally found my go-to lash tech! ^_____^ Initially, I first found out about Thanh through a friend. Not gonna lie though, I was a little skeptical at first just bc there aren't too many reviews and whatnot...but all that changed on the day of my appointment after Thanh worked her magic on my eyes! Parking should be fairly easy. There are tons of 1-2HR parking spots for blocks on end, but when in doubt, you can park in the nearby church parking lot if you're not sure how long it may take. Be aware that this place is hidden inside a gated building on your left when you walk in. On your first visit, there will be a small questionnaire to fill out just to see if you have any allergies and some history about your health (past eye infections, etc). Afterwards, you are taken to a room where you can lie down and relax, while Thanh does your lashes. Before she begins, she'll ask you what kind of look you are going for and tries her best to customize it to fit your eye shape. She is sooo accommodating and has such a good eye for detail! You can choose to fall asleep or stay awake throughout the whole process. I usually stay awake and just talk (the time goes by pretty fast) but it's fairly relaxing as she plays calming background music and puts these cooling pads under your eyes...so you might just fall asleep haha. I believe each session can range from 1-3HRS(?) and prices range depending on what kind of set you get. The fuller the lashes, the higher it may be. There is a price list of the services on her website (http://www.lelashes.skincaretherapy.net). Thanh is by appointment only, but no worries bc making an appointment is really easy! You can choose to either call or text her at 1-(650)-847-9188. For my first time, we went with the volume L shape dolly curls and they were pretty nice. I got tons of compliments as they really made my eyes pop but weren't too dramatic. However, as a false lashes gal, I really missed my dramatic looks. So for my fill today, I opted for a more full and dramatic look where she added not only more lashes, but longer ones as well. She really outdid herself this time, I am so obsessed!! read more

Wow! I had my lashes done a couple days ago for my birthday and I am still beaming about them! I work in the eye industry and work closely with peoples eyes, at my previous job I had a patient that had beautiful natural looking long eye lashes. After I complimented her on her lashes and she gave me Thanh's card and told me if I was ever interested in getting mine done, that Thanh is the best in the area. Fast forward to a year later, I had been thinking about what I would like for my birthday and while going through my wallet found Thanh's card. I was super excited and thought it would be a great present from my friends. I was a bit nervous to get my lashes done because most of the pictures I had seen were of darker haired people. I'm super fair, like super super fair. Pale skin, blonde hair, hardly any eyelashes and when I don't wear makeup I look pretty albino. I have been making it a goal to wear less makeup to help give my skin a break and not spend as much time getting ready in the morning. But to be honest when I'm doing my makeup what matters most to me is my eyelashes. I figured with getting my lashes done I would be able to get up in the morning and not have to worry about curling my lashes and adding lots of mascara to make sure they looked long and dark. Thahn was great! This was my first lash extension experience and I couldn't have been more pleased. I had an urge to get them done and realized most salons were closed on Sundays. I did some yelping and thought I'd give this place a shot even though it had only 2 reviews, luckily it worked out! I had a hard time finding the place at first because there aren't any highly visible signs and it was in a gated building but I was able to contact Thahn easily and she was able to let me in :) I browsed the website and decided on the 3D/4D lashes. She had me fill out a form and went through the formalities of telling me about the process then I was quickly laying in my chair while she worked her magic. She put these cooling pads under my eyes which felt great and I basically just fell asleep for an hour and two and woke up to some gorgeous lashes! She did a great job and I haven't experienced anything uncomfortable with my new lashes. It takes getting used to when you shower and wash your face but after a week or two they just seem like my lashes. I get ready for work a lot quicker since i don't need to do anything to my eyes anymore. After about 3 weeks I haven't experienced much shedding either and I admit I'm not the most careful with my lashes. A few tips I'd give anyone who wants to have Thahn do their lash extentions: 1) When you're looking for the building it's the one with the black gate. 2) Text her. She's great at replying quickly and will even check up on you after the session. She's very available and easy to communicate with :) 3) Don't wear make up and don't wear contacts when you come in, it'll make things easier. 4) Don't feel awkward to fall asleep during the session, she's super chill haha. I highly recommend Thahn at Le Lashes. She does beautiful work and is a true artist. She is meticulous and takes her time applying each and every lash. I love how she maps out her work to customize the perfect look for your eye shape. I've had my lashes done several times by her. She's given me different looks from full sexy lashes to a flirty cat eye. They are as light as a feather and I don't even notice they are there. She has a super cute modern studio. I love that you get time to relax while she goes to work. The investment is worth it to me because it cuts my time getting ready in half.
